To preface. I was ordering and buying a Nissan Leaf SL from the Nissan Leaf internet site. Tony the EV specialist at Nissan Beaverton gave me a good price on the net. When the car arrive, Abdul a new El from the Nissan Leaf internet site. Tony the EV specialist at Nissan Beaverton gave me a good price on the net. When the car arrive, Abdul a new Electric Car specialist said Tony was no longer there. I wanted to evaluate whether it was better to purchase or lease since tax incentives were involved. When I got there at 5pm, the sales people were pushing to close the deal that night. The purchase price numbers were all over the place and it was hard to tell what was what. Then I was told extra fees $700 for sealant and $289 for glass etching were added to the price and were all ready installed on the car. By the time I was done, I paid over $2300 more than I should. I was tired and just wanted to get teh car and go. The signing of the paperwork was not complete until 9pm. What an event. Basically this was my fault, I should have walked out when things were unclear. Ive always used buying services previously and thought buying on line thru Nissan gave me the same price protection from dealers tactics. It did not. Nissan US and more importantly Nissan International should be aware that bad dealers effect the corporate brand. And effect what people think about their cars. Luckily the Nissan Leaf is super. I will try to put this behind me. More
I have done business with this company for over 15 years and had never had a bad experience prior to 8-7-11. While waiting for my sisters car to be repaired I walked into the showroom to kill time and was a and had never had a bad experience prior to 8-7-11. While waiting for my sisters car to be repaired I walked into the showroom to kill time and was approached by a gentleman who asked if I had any questions. I asked the price of the nissan Rogue and Murano and was asked if I would like to drive one. I told the man that I had another years lease on my 2009 Altima and he said just try the Rogue and see what you think and I did and liked the way it drove. Went back into the dealership to pay for the repairs and was approached by another man who who also asked how I liked the Rogue and I asked how much it was to lease it and that I had another years lease on my 2009 and he said no problem turning it in early as they did that all the time and he would check on the price and when he came back he said the lease price would be $315.00 and I said okay let's do it as long as I would not be penalized by the leasor. 2 1/2 hours later he came back and said that he couldn't lease at the price quoted but that he had a 2009 Rogue for sale and asked if wanted to look at it. I told him that I had lost my job in 2008 and had let some credit cards go and that my credit was less than stellar and he said let me check it out. He came back and asked about a dollar figure on the credit report and again told him the situation. To make a long story short I signed the papers on the Rogue and they gave me x amount of dollars as a down payment on my Altima and I went merrily on my way. I went to the dealership the next day to take the othe carr door opener for the old car and nothing was said about the deal falling through and I also went back the following day to ask about some paperwork that I had read about a faulty strut to which they replied that robots make the cars and one had probably missed a screw etc. I went back again just to tell them how much I liked the car and someone said that Scott Methaney wanted to talk to me. I waited for 5 1/2 hours for Sott to find the "time to talk to me" and was told they wanted car back as the deal fell through at which point I said then give me back my old car as I saw it on the lot and that question was ignored. Around 9:00 pm I was told that the ben counter had told the salesmand to bring a 2012 silver Altima around to the front door and that he would go and get gas. A gentleman whose name I don't know said that there was no negotiating about the 2012 Altima all that he had was a silver color and the price per month would be $40.00 more than I wanted to spend and when asked the price to lease a Rogue he quoted $365.00 to which I replied that was not what I was told 3 days ago and he said that the price quoted was wrong. So to make a long story short I would not recommend Beaverton Nissan to anyone ever. They are liars, cheaters most of all thieves. I a going to [picket their lovely new building very soon. More

Hugo was great! I enjoyed the customer service provided by him. I am not sure why the follow-up email is not by him but by an internet sales person. I do hope he receives the sale instead of Douglas (inter by him. I am not sure why the follow-up email is not by him but by an internet sales person. I do hope he receives the sale instead of Douglas (internet salesperson) since Douglas contacted me more than a week after I reached out online. At that point I had already received the great service from Hugo and purchased the car from him. Please ensure you get this right in your system. More
Visiting this dealership is a total waste of time unless you are a masochist and looking to have your intelligence insulted. Mr Lee is the fleet manager who also handles internet sales. I had visited this d you are a masochist and looking to have your intelligence insulted. Mr Lee is the fleet manager who also handles internet sales. I had visited this dealership about 5 or 6 weeks ago and worked with an internet rep who is no longer there. I made the deal I was looking for perfectly clear to Mr Lee. No ADM or other add-ons. just match the advertised price at Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville. I was trying to save myself a drive from Beaverton to Wilsonville. What a mistake that was! This Nissan store is an example of why people hate the car buying experience. Mr Lee left after taking all of my info and was replaced by a "closer". I flushed his name from my memory, but it really doesn't matter as I am willing to bet that he is just like all of their other closers. He totally ignored what I had told Mr Lee the deal needed to be. Match Tonkin's advertised price. He started at the inflated value of MSRP + additional dealer markup and then took 1000 or plus the Nissan rebate. This was thousands more than Tonkin's price. Then there are the mandatory, non-negotiable items. Like "etch fee". A n approximately $300 charge for window glass etching that we are "required" to put on every car. Required not by the State of Oregon, but by the dealer's management to add a couple of hundred dollars in additional profit to the sale. I don't know how "non-negotiable" this fee was or what other games they were going to play, because when he said he wouldn't match Tonkin, I walked out. Got a phone call and an email from Ron Lee telling me that when I found I couldn't get the deal that I thought I was getting at the other dealership, that I should come back to Beaverton Nissan so they could "earn my business". I didn't take Mr. Lee's call, as I was at Tonkin's Wilsonville Nissan taking delivery of my new Xterra. Please see my comments on that experience under their name. More
Costco's certified pre-owned program referred me to Beaverton Nissan to purchase a truck. At 8:15AM the following day Tony, a sales manager there, contacted me to ask what I was looking for. I was ve Beaverton Nissan to purchase a truck. At 8:15AM the following day Tony, a sales manager there, contacted me to ask what I was looking for. I was very specific, telling him I wanted a "certified pre-owned crew cab 4x4 Frontier." Tony said they had several on their lot and we made an appointment for 12:15PM that same day to look at the trucks. When I arrived for the appointment, Tony was unavailable. I was passed to a junior salesman who took me over to their used car lot. After looking through their lots, I learned that they did not have any trucks that met my specification. After "discovering" that they had no trucks of interest to me, Beaverton Nissan passed me to a third salesman who wanted to show me new trucks. Knowing that Costco has negotiated good prices on new vehicles, and knowing that Nissan was offering a large rebate Frontiers, I agreed to look. We found a truck I liked and went for a test drive after which I asked to see the price. The salesman and I returned to the sales office where I was passed to a fourth salesman to negotiate price. As a Costco customer, no negotiation should have been necessary. Costco's car buyer program specifies that Costco customers are to be shown a Costco price sheet that shows the pre-negotiated price. Instead of showing me the Costco price sheet, the fourth salesman went into another room and came back with a notepad on which he had hand written a price. He also stated a rebate value on the truck that was $500 less than the actual rebate amount. At this point I realized that Beaverton Nissan was unlikely to deal in good faith and I left. I have several specific problems with my experience at Beaverton Nissan: 1) Tony did not keep the appointment we set up. Instead he fobbed me off to a series of salesmen. 2) Tony either lied to me about the trucks they had in stock, or he did not listen when I told him what I was looking for. Either is unforgivable from someone attempting to sell me a product that costs tens of thousands of dollars. 3) By telling me they had a used truck I might be interested in and then attempting to up sell me into a new truck, I believe Beaverton Nissan was attempting to run a bait and switch scam on me. 4) Beaverton Nissan did not follow Costco's procedures for their buying program. I should have been shown the Costco customer's price sheet. Instead I saw a couple of numbers hand written in a notepad. 5) The final salesman understated the rebate available on the truck I was looking at in what I believe was an attempt to manipulate the sales price in the dealership's favor. Based on my experience, I strongly suspect that most or all high rating reviews for this dealership are written by employees of the dealership or their friends. There are several other Nissan dealers on the west side of Portland. I suggest you try any of them except the one in Beaverton. More

We found a 05' pathfinder that was an internet special that we really liked. We got in touch with Ben and he worked the numbers and set the deal up for us before we drove the almost 2 hours to get to the that we really liked. We got in touch with Ben and he worked the numbers and set the deal up for us before we drove the almost 2 hours to get to the dealership. Once we got there we welcomed, had the pathfinder brought out to us and took it for a test drive. I don't think that it took even an hour from start to finish. We got the papers signed and headed home. I can't really say who was better to deal with, our salesman Ben or the Finance guy Danny. Both were super friendly, easy to deal with and will most likely be who we deal with for our next vehicle purchase. We don't say that often having been scorched by several other dealers in that area.
