The worst place to service your vehicle If you are happy with sales people, that's not gonna last long. Wait until you need service and that is gonna be very soon. Took my 2015 ford transi If you are happy with sales people, that's not gonna last long. Wait until you need service and that is gonna be very soon. Took my 2015 ford transit there after I heard a noise in the rear end. They told me they need couple days to diagnose the problem! After couple days called them and they never touched my Van. Although I waited for a week until my appointment time. That's the first thing. Couple days later called again they said that my problem was the rear axle. Gave me an estimation and then I agreed to fix it at the dealership. They said we need 2 to 3 business days to get the parts here. So, I waited three more days but the parts did not get to the dealer yet. One more day, they told me that the problem was not in the rear axle!!!!!!!!! They break down my rear axle after more than a week of holding my van and lied to me that they diagnosed the problem and lied to me about ordering the parts. Now, the problem not in my rear axel. After one more day, they decided that the problem is in the transmission. And the estimation was 8 thousands if they didn't need more parts, which means more than 8 thousands. I decided not to do the repair at the dealership. Talked to them that I am coming to get my van. They make me wait till afternoon. After I drove my van there was a horrible noise that was not before!!!!!!! Came back and talked to the service manager and he test drove it and decided I was right. They took the van back in to the service and worked on it again. The noise was better but the van never came back like I gave it to them. They ruined my rear axel and it still leaking and making noise. Called ford customer service. They told me we have nothing we can do for you as the dealership is not related to ford company!!!!!!!!!! Bottom line, if you have ford you are screwed. And if you need service, don't go to Beau Townsend. More

In this time period we've had all of our service done by BT. In addition to having NO complaints, they have always gone above and beyond for us. They get the work done in a timely fashion and get it right the first time. Everyone we've come in contact with has been fair, friendly, compassionate and professional. They treat us like family. Bobbie Sparks was the Service Rep who took care of our needs for many years. Now that he has moved on to Service Manager, Mike Taylor takes care of us. Ron Burton and Mike Condron handled our last purchase, the process was fast and pleasant. We would never consider going anywhere else to purchase or service our vehicles. More
they love taking advantage of people took my truck up there to get transmission checked out . they said it's ok they believe it's the coil . they said to get it fixed I would be looking a took my truck up there to get transmission checked out . they said it's ok they believe it's the coil . they said to get it fixed I would be looking at $300 + to fix it. calling around other places that said they would do it for average of 100 - 200. when I called beau back they said that price that beau gave me did not include labor so within a hour there priced jumped higher. what's funny is there commercial say's we care bout the customer's. they should change it to we care about the wallet .have you ever noticed that the Facebook for beau has never had any bad reviews but yet the sites they cant control do have bad reviews . maybe if they would allow honesty to be said then maybe they would be bit more trusted . The Never take your vehicle to Beau Townsend Ford in Vandalia, Ohio!!!! One of their employees wrecked my Brand new Limo Bus on their own property . The dealership and owner of the company named Larry Taylor has made this a nightmare!! He has refused to pay for the damages/loss wages and also refused to provide me his insurance information for his business. I can't believe the president of the company would write chicken scratch on a piece of paper saying you will pay for all damages and doesn't stand by his own word/signature.....its a bunch of crap! Who in the xxxx conduct business like this?? This is the most unprofessional establishment and dealership I have ever been to. I would give 0 stars for anything they've ever done for me! My company has suffered tens of thousands of dollars in losses due to their negligence. More

Let me start by saying that I am an Army trained mechanic in the Army Reserve, a full time civilian heavy equipment mechanic at Wright Patterson AFB, I also worked as a tech for pep boys auto in 07-08 with t in the Army Reserve, a full time civilian heavy equipment mechanic at Wright Patterson AFB, I also worked as a tech for pep boys auto in 07-08 with that being said. I traded a car with no mechanical problems because my needs had changed and bought a truck (08 F150 FX4 super crew) for $26,000 + $1200 on an actual FORD extended warranty and was assured it was a good reliable vehicle by a very friendly sales staff and within one week had 3 issues with it, one of which could lead to a catastrophic drive train failure, and all 3 of my problems should have been found if they actually did the vehicle inspection they said they done. problem number 1. a faulty 4X4 engagement solenoid, that was causing my 4x4hi indicator light to flash when i switched back and fourth from 2hi to 4hi. this problem was caused by a vacuum leak under the hood leading to the solenoid. that issue was fixed under warranty no problem : ) problem number 2. 3 days after buying the truck i'm on the highway going to work and the ABS trouble light illuminates. after i get to work i shut the ignition off, restart the engine and the light goes out. on the way home it comes back on. that later turned out to be a bad front wheel bearing tripping the ABS sensor. The salesman informed me before i bought the truck that they had put new tires on it. At most service center it is standard practice to check wheel bearings, suspension and steering components every time a vehicle goes on a lift, (those parts commonly wear out and they're easy to make money on due to safety concerns) as if that wasn't enough one would think that front wheel bearings would be part of a vehicle inspection at a major new car dealer prior to selling one. Anyway way that was fixed under warranty : ) problem number 3. (the big one). Going down the highway and i press slightly on the gas and as it the transmission down shifts the entire truck shakes violently like i hit a rumble strip., after driving another twenty miles home I had pin pointed the problem enough that i could trigger it on demand, and i knew what it was. the problem was the torque converter shuttering on lockup. When the service advisor called me and told me that the first 2 problems had been fixed i was very happy and he said they had done a fluid and filter change on the tranny. this is a good start to the issue but i knew it would not fix it because transmission fluid won't fix mechanical damage, however since i dont work on cars a said ok great maybe they know something i dont and picked up my truck. Three blocks down the road u had to turn around and take it back because the shuttering problem was still very present. upon returning to Beau Townsend i asked the service advisor to go on a short ride with me so i could show him the problem was still there and he did. after showing him how to trigger the issue I left for the second time in a courtesy car. the next day (ten days after buying) they call back and say my truck is ready and when i ask what they did he said he spoke with the service manager and the tech working on it and they acknowledged there was a torque converter problem, but instead of replacing it they decided to put a friction modifying additive in it (yet another LIQUID fix for a MECHANICAL problem) a friction modifier is a heat activated anti-wear (not miracle repair) agent that bonds to metal and forms a super slick coating to reduce metal to metal friction basically what it does is hide the symptoms of wear, and in my case eliminate torque shutter by forming a cushion like layer of lube on everything it touches but the root problem still remains, I explained to them that I knew what a friction modifier was and that i knew it was a band aid on a bullet wound, not a real fix because there’s no way it will repair worn parts (it only helps prevent future wear), and i explained i travel alot and i would be towing an 18ft trailer and i could not afford to get stranded, Derek the service advisor said he understood my issue, and anyway to my displeasure i was asked to take it and drive it for a couple weeks to see if the modifier would help and if not then they would replace my torque converter. This to me is like a middle finger in the face since i knew, and they know i knew it would not fix the problem. when i asked Derek if they were gona come rescue me and my trailer when their bad business practices leave me stranded by the side of the road 4hrs from home, another service advisor butted in and said no but you did buy a roadside assistance plan with your warranty.........................................right now i am driving a $26,000 ticking time bomb waiting to get stranded because i paid $1200 for a FORD warranty that Beau Townsend is taking short cuts on their promise because they even though they sold me a $26,000 lemon they don’t want to give me a free torque converter, and IF my warranty expires before it goes i will have to pay another $1000 to fix something they refused to replace that was covered by my $1200 warranty More

My 6 year old Nissan needed a major repair on the air conditioner and Bobby suggested I might want to look at a NEW car!! Great interest rates right now, great deals and I could become a NEW FORD owner!! He refered me to Mark Lindenhauer in Sales, who was incredibly thorough, patient and helpful as I walked through the process of selecting my car. Ken Emrick in Finance so efficiently processed all the paperwork for my loan and even called me yesterday to let me know he was able to secure a rebate on my GAP insurance from the Nissan. I also received a wonderful follow-up phone call from Justin Jacobs offering any support I might need on my new sync system. VERY personal touches from the entire staff I dealt with. Larry Taylor even stopped to greet us and make sure we were well taken care of. I am proud to now be a FORD owner and so glad Beau Townsend Ford is close to my home. I will certainly recommend them to any and all!!!! Thank you Beau Townsend Ford for your fantastic, exceptional and personal customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
