Its hard to put to words how distasteful of an experience It has been to work with Beau townsend Ford Lincoln Dealership. Long story short roughly eight or more months ago our 2013 Ford fusion had an engine It has been to work with Beau townsend Ford Lincoln Dealership. Long story short roughly eight or more months ago our 2013 Ford fusion had an engine fire. When we checked what the cause might be under the hood there was no coolant however we had just filled the reservoir and topped off the tank just the day just before. Display closely monitoring this clearly there was a leak that it increasingly gotten bigger over the next couple of days. As a result we took the car to our local Firestone in Springfield Ohio. After fighting with Geico for 2 days straight eventually they honored our insurance and covered past our deductible. As a courtesy and a sign of being good mechanics the gentleman and ladies at Firestone discovered that there was in fact a coolant sensor missing from our 2013 Ford fusion engine that could have warned us from the low coolant issue before it caused permanent damage. After this the next best option was to reach out to the dealership that it installed it's current engine back in 2018 and that is Beu townsend Ford. Not only was everyone besides the sales department completely rude and short with us but they acted as if we were criminals and as if we were accusing them of something when we just wanted to get a process started to have this engine looked at and then we also as a courtesy had our vehicle towed to them through our AAA membership at no cost to them. A little over 7 months later a call every month sometimes 2 calls a month with their service department manager named Angel and it seemed like though there was a wait our vehicle would in fact be inspected and they would help us get the process moved along. At this point we were somewhat relieved as we were under the impression that this dealership was going to help us get to the bottom of why our vehicle was missing parts that should have been installed due to a recall back in 2018. We were very foolish to believe this as 7 months later we received sudden correspondence from Angel from the service department telling us to come and pick up our vehicle immediately or they would have it impounded with no explanation despite repeated attempts to just simply ask why all of the sudden the vehicle needed to be removed. All of these conversations have been through email and automated message system and recorded phone calls so the boldness and the fictitious nature of dealing with this service department and it's rude manager has been more than a small crusade for us. To avoid more costs as we are already preparing for what will inevitably potentially be the cost of replacing an engine we used our last tow for 2023 provided by a AAA membership to get the vehicle brought from their dealership back to our house so we not only wasted two of our tows that we paid for and we used as a courtesy thinking that it would be reciprocated by professionals in the automotive industry but our car was also left out for 3/4 of a year nearly with a battery that is dead and tires that are flat and most likely rotted from sitting. There is absolutely no excuse for this and it must be publicized how unprofessional the staff at this establishment within the service department have been towards us. This dealership told us to take our car to them and then tried to turn around and tell us that they actually meant that we needed to have it towed to a manufacturer so even though they made the mistake of telling us to have the vehicle towed to them they then turned around, despite our courtesy and us covering the vehicle being towed to and from them, and threatened to have our vehicle impounded out of the blue and honestly I think it's just because everything is falling in around them and they are desperate to clear their lot because it's full of cars with numbered tags that have not been touched some of which not for years. Their biggest problem is definitely Angel. A rude, entitled and incompetent disaster with a title. More
Worst Service Department I have worked with since I began buying automobiles and trucks 39 years ago. I ordered a new 2022 Lincoln Navigator Black Label last spring. It has required REPAIRS twice even thoug buying automobiles and trucks 39 years ago. I ordered a new 2022 Lincoln Navigator Black Label last spring. It has required REPAIRS twice even though it has much less than 6,000 miles on it. The first service was a disaster. The truck sat on their lot for almost 3 weeks and NO ONE called me. If I called in I could only get a very nice man named Gene who didn’t have any information about my SUV. I called the salesman when it became clear that no one from the service department had any interest in helping me. Finally, after three weeks and numerous telephone calls, my SUV was returned. The second time service was required the SUV’s alarm system was constantly going off for no reason in the middle of the night. I called my salesman and arranged for a service call. Almost 3 weeks later (if it’s there 2 more days it will be 3 weeks) my Lincoln is still at the dealership. Dalton, the service rep, has given up. He claims he cannot replicate the situation nor does he have any prior experience with similar circumstances. However, it only takes a quick google search to verify this is a common problem for Lincoln products. There are even videos on YouTube detailing various options for repairs. When I contacted my salesman he was aware not only of the problem but had several ideas for repair options. Dalton’s strategy: return my SUV with under 6,000 miles on it to me with no repairs made and insist I keep a log when the alarm goes off. I guess I am expected to camp out in my garage to track this. Dalton is very condescending and very defensive. Along with making the repair ( that never happened) my car was supposed to be detailed. I was told it would be done last Friday and delivered. Today is Tuesday and I haven’t gotten a phone call to arrange drop off despite the fact Dalton left a message at 12:09 p.m. that the SUV would be returned today. I hadn’t heard a word by 5:15 p.m. So, I called Dalton who informed me “once they release it over there” it is no longer his responsibility. Even though he is the only service person I have spoken to about the detail and the repair other than the salesman. After leaving me on hold for over 5 minutes he tells me “they usually have only 1 or 2 cars a day but today they had 14 or 15.” So, once again my SUV sat in their lot for almost 3 weeks with nothing being done. I tried to voice my frustration to Dalton and he rudely interrupted me, stated he TOLD me to keep a log and he wasn’t going to discuss it further. I would never recommend this dealership. There is absolutely no customer service. The Service Department is a joke and the service employees rude. I am fed up. My salesman, Mike Myers, has been most courteous but unfortunately his best efforts cannot erase the consistent failures and outright rudeness of the Service Department. First thing tomorrow morning, I intend to call other Lincoln dealerships in the area and arrange to have my service done at a reputable and competent Lincoln Service Department where my SUV doesn’t have to sit outside in the sun, rain, etc. for 3 weeks at a time and still be returned to me with absolutely no repair being made. Had I known the service department was like this I never would have purchased a vehicle from them at any price. I recommend you buy your vehicle anywhere but Beau Townsend Lincoln. If you do purchase a car or truck there I believe you will regret it like I do. More

Beau Townsend Ford SERVICE was extremely helpful to me and my Wife. We are full time RVers that have been across the country over the past 7 years. I have had my F-350 Super Duty truck that has been pulli and my Wife. We are full time RVers that have been across the country over the past 7 years. I have had my F-350 Super Duty truck that has been pulling our 43’ Fifth wheel. We have had the engine light come on two time in 7 years, the first time a Ford service center come through for us in Colorado. Now we were at a campground in Dayton, Ohio for just a few days at the W.P. AFB Famcamp. Engine light came on and had just 3 days before having to head to another state. Called up Beau Townsend Ford service center and got a hold of diesel mechanic Michael Platfoot who got me in the next day when most other Ford service dealers did not want to help us. We were on a time crunch. Found out it was a sensor that they had in stock and that could have left us stranded on the side of the road. They got us in and back on the road. Beau Townsend Ford has done a great job helping us and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Beau Townsend Ford Service, and Thank you Michael Platfoot. More
If you purchase your vehicle from Beau, do not take it back for any type of warranty or recalls. Had my truck serviced there for check engine light. Spent $2800 and when I got the truck back it made it about 20 miles and light came back on. Took it back and they want another $500 + and they will not bac $2800 and when I got the truck back it made it about 20 miles and light came back on. Took it back and they want another $500 + and they will not back their work on getting the codes wrong and fixing the wrong thing. Then their salesman approached me about selling me a new vehicle for $8000 above sticker and would give me $7000 for my truck. This dealership is working some kind of racket to rip you off. More
First of all, I do not write reviews but my service experience was just unacceptable. My F150 has a chatter upon a cold start (a known issue with 3.5 EcoBoost Fords). I wrote on my drop off ticket to " experience was just unacceptable. My F150 has a chatter upon a cold start (a known issue with 3.5 EcoBoost Fords). I wrote on my drop off ticket to "check upon cold start". The service associate called and advised they would check it and after 2 calls to them, they finally admitted that they could not replicate the noise because a lot tech had already moved it. I asked for a rental since they would need to keep it longer and was advised they had none, due to the COVID issue. I proceeded to pickup my truck and when waiting on them to pull it around, I was presented with a 2019 F150 Ranch model (Not My Truck).I told the employee that it was not my truck and he said "OK" and walked away leaving it running. I finally had to go find someone, since everyone was leaving at 06:00 p.m. very promptly. This apparent supervisor was clearly upset and confused by this action. He stated, "Its a good thing I was still here". He offered me a weak apology before disappearing into the dealership. I went to Germain Ford and had a correct diagnosis and was issued a rental vehicle until my truck was completed. I recommend Germain Ford for any service related issues to all of you. More
