Thanks for the opportunity to let you know how much I have enjoyed working with Mike Schmidt and your team! Before last week, I hadn't bought a new car for myself in over 35 years and had never bought a have enjoyed working with Mike Schmidt and your team! Before last week, I hadn't bought a new car for myself in over 35 years and had never bought an American car. I've been looking for an electric car for several years, hoping that Mercedes would finally get the smart here in the Midwest- they've put me off for over three years. I've also test-driven Tesla S's twice- they're exceptional vehicles, but are cost-prohibitive, especially for commuting only. The Leaf, although well made, is, in my opinion, an extremely awkward styling exercise. The Honda Fit electric, like the smart, isn't available in our area. The Volt is a fine car, but isn't all-electric and their seats are unsatisfactory. The Chevy Spark electric should be interesting, but won't be available for some time... I cannot tell you how excited I was to find that Ford has an all-electric with the range I need, was available locally at a FANTASTIC price, appears to be well made, and has a "stealth" look to it that doesn't scream "tree-hugger" - that's very important on the interstate (my main commute) and where I park. It is very clear to me that Ford has done a tremendous amount of work, both with engineering and aesthetics, on the Focus Electric. I also appreciate the simplicity of ordering- it was delightful to find out that it was extremely well-appointed with only a few available options (wish it had a moon roof…). My goodness, a 380 page owner's manual certainly pushes all my "geek" buttons, too! Mike Schmidt, my salesman, was consistently respectful, friendly, patient and highly knowledgeable- in other words just plain helpful! In my opinion, he's the best I've dealt with and actually made the experience a lot of fun. I especially appreciate how he was able to get a second car for me after the one I was interested in was sold to another dealer before I was able to get all my ducks in a row- he came through in a pinch with exactly the car I wanted at another dealer within a few minutes, even though they're getting hard to find! Ken Emrick in finance is also pleasant and helpful, so I figure it must run deep in your dealership! Finally, I have made an appointment to fix a few minor things and after discussing them with your service manager (I forget his name), I anticipate I'll have a really good experience. Therefore, here's three cheers for the "New Ford" and for you, a dealer willing to take a risk on selling and servicing a new type of vehicle that can significantly help our environment, is easy on the eyes, AND is beautifully made! I started out checking a couple of models of vehicles by means of Edmonds car search. I listed what I wanted as far as color inside and outside along with what bells and whistles to be included. I mentioned how much we would like to pay per month for 36 monthes. This was sent to several Ford Dealerships and Jeep Dealerships. We had several respondence in a timely fashion. We received an e-mail from Jeanine Bussard stating that she believed she found what we be interested in. So happen Beau Townsend Ford had one in stock that meant what we were looking for. Jeanine called us following up and wanting to know if we would like to come down for a test drive. We already had tried out several vehicles. We accepted her invitation as she said I will get someone to have it warmed up and ready for you to see & drive. Jeannine meant us at the dealership and introduced us to JR Rush and Johnny Gibson. Johnny had everything ready for the test drive. We decided this was the vehicle we wanted already knowing the lease price set forth by Jeanine. Johnny did a good job explaining all the features about the Escape. Kevin Berger did an excellent job explaning and showing us the figures on his computer. He even made a suggestion to save us alittle per month by reducing the mileage per month from 12,000 to 10,500. I felt Mr. Berger and Mr. Gibson did an excellent job. If Jeanine did not do the outstanding job of communicating over the internet and a call we would have took out business else where. Everyone was professional but like a friend helping you. More

I had not thought I could get a Lincoln and came for a Ford. The lincoln I bought just happened to be where I parked. The salesman and the person in charge of used car sales were very friendle and helpful. I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. More

When I walked in, I hadn't intended to buy a car--this is generally not an experience I enjoy. I'm used to being swarmed on car lots with high pressure people. My experience was great. Justin showed me the vehicle, answered questions, had great knowledge, and looked at all angles. Ken Emrick covered the financing extremely well, even beating the pre-arranged financing I had brought with me. Everyone was very friendly, treated me well, used no pressure tactics, and inspired me with their openness and frankness. I have found my dealership and my sales rep for the future. I will enthusiastically recommend Beau Townsend. More
