Ethical concerns - Beware advertised dealership incentives I participated in the TrueCar pricing program and when I provided the dealer with the certificate of savings, they said that while they were part of t I participated in the TrueCar pricing program and when I provided the dealer with the certificate of savings, they said that while they were part of the program, it was optional to honor the pricing. Dealer website advertised $300 for taking a test drive and also an additional $500 for trade-in allowance. I followed the protocol on the website and registered for the test drive and also the additional trade-in allowance; however, the general manager did not honor these and when I asked about it, they said these had already been included in the car price. Additional concerns regarding the car's advertised price on website...which included approximately $9k in incentives--looked great and I called to confirm it's accuracy the salesperson wasn't sure if that was the right price...after he confirmed with the manager, I was told they would work with it. When I arrived at the dealership, they said they couldn't honor the price because it had included all possible incentives and that no one would ever qualify for all. I utilized the TrueCar pricing program and brought my certificate of savings which included my no-haggle price. The general manager said that while they participated in the program, it was optional if they would honor the price--which they did not. So I spent nearly 3 hours haggling over price--and still paid more than I ought to have. When purchased the car's navigation SD card and spare key had not arrived--didn't realize they shipped separately--weird. Purchased the car about 2 weeks ago and they still have not processed the title so I can register the car...when asked the titling clerk said they had taken over a mess and was about 3 weeks behind. Purchase/review of 2016 Azera While we are satisfied with the appraisal of our 2015 Sonota Limited, we were never told what the MSRP was, or the final amount we would be paying, fo While we are satisfied with the appraisal of our 2015 Sonota Limited, we were never told what the MSRP was, or the final amount we would be paying, for the 2016 car until we were requested to sign the documents to purchase. Also, we questioned the price of the extended warranty, but we were not given the opportunity to negotiate it. The reason given was that this was a better car than our trade so we would be paying more for the extended warranty. We have two issues with the 2016 Azera, i.e., the brakes that shutter and the tires need balancing as they shake above 65 MPH. This should be covered under the new car warranty. More
