The experiences with the Service department are a disaster. If you purchase a vehicles here do not get the additional service package, and take your vehicles elsewhere for a service. During an oil change they left bolts from the engine protection plates in my cup holders rather than put them back correctly or at least inform there was an issue before letting me drive off with lose hardware. They appointment before that they clearly had an issue with their alignment calibration machine as my allignment was way worse after they did the adjustment than it was before I took it there. They tried telling me I had to buy camber kits because it was so far off when it was their mistake in the first place. And when you try to bring these issues up to Lucas or Vince who are the managers… They aren’t there and don’t call you back. Customer service is pretty terrible now. Tony Perez with Sales was great and Beach Ford was my go to Ford Dealership for my last two F-150s. Unfortunately, I will not be making that mistake again. Plenty of other dealerships in the area with great reviews. More
Friendly, mostly stays on time with appointments . Always let's you know when they find a problem, you decide to fix or not( also how much $$ the repair cost, if not warrantyied). I want everyone to seriously consider the integrity of the sales and service department before purchasing a used car from Beach Ford. I purchased a 2011 Ford Edge from Beach Ford on 10/05/2023 in cash. The vehicle was inspected by Beach Ford three weeks prior on 09/15/2023. On 10/30/2023 I contacted my sales representative Joven Durose who instructed me to schedule an appointment with service, which I did. On 11/06/2023 I took my truck into service. I was informed by my service advisor James Stunda of a steering concern and a drivability concern. The truck has a broken upper strut mount and bearing as well as a leak at the power steering pump. The headlights were also listed as “foggy, bad” condition. My concern is that this vehicle just passed a Virginia State Inspection that was conducted by the service department at Beach Ford, yet these very noticeable violations that compromise the safety and integrity of the vehicle exist in the area of steering, suspension, and headlights. I would have more understanding if the truck would not have JUST been inspected by Justin Callis at Beach Ford, the very service center that sold me the vehicle. According to the Carfax that I was provided, the vehicle has been on the lot at Beach Ford since 2018. Was this not noticed? How could this have been missed over the course of six years? Even more concerning is the fact that Beach Ford replaced the power steering pump in my truck during this time. The power steering pressure line is noted to be leaking at the power steering pump. This isn’t a previous owner problem, this was a Beach Ford problem. The lack of accountability for the product that was sold to me is astounding. There has been no communication or even an attempt at rectification for any of the issues. They sold the vehicle to me “As Is” so I’m left with an unsafe vehicle to transport myself and my four children. I am very disappointed in my experience with Beach Ford overall and I would not recommend that anyone buy a used car from this dealership. They did just enough to get me out of the door and have done nothing to retain or respect me as a consumer. I would go further to say that I feel my rights as a consumer were violated by selling a vehicle that was either inadequately inspected or grossly neglected during its time at Beach Ford. I’m not sure if I trust the service department enough to contact them further, so I'm reviewing my options as far as my rights in regard to the integrity of this dealership. I’m so very disappointed.
