After reading all the papers I decided the protection wasn't for me and came back on the 27th to cancel and get a refund on all the extra protection such as the premium Toyota warrantee, gap, and prepaid maintenance. Since Jeremy was not there I spoke to an asian lady who I waited around 10 minutes for and after telling her my situation she leaves and talks to someone, comes back and says I have to see Jeremy fix my problem. I requested to see if any higher authority personnel can speak to this about me and after waiting for about 20 minutes more in walks Lennie Roman. Of course he says the same thing that I have to wait for Jeremy so I let that drop and I ask him in your opinion am I able to cancel this. In response he says no because it has already been processed and he repeats this "everything has gone through and everything has been processed" even though the contract states I can get a refund within 60 days. I showed him the paper and he reads the contract out loud as though I'm stupid to prove me wrong just to end up saying I guess we'll be able to take it off your finance amount... The point I'm trying to get to is he should know your policies as a man of his position and not try to swindle customers into keeping things they don't want. This is my first new car and my first buying experience. Simon did a great job showing me the cars and all the features and Jeremy also was very professional going through all the details with me. I went back the next day to see Jeremy and he was able to fill out a simple form to cancel the extra contracts I didn't want so I was a little more frustrated knowing it was only one form that took 1 minute to fill out while they made a big deal about how long it would take to cancel it. It's people like Lennie that cause the stores reviews to be so low on all the sites. The only reason I came to your this store was because a friend recommended me to Simon and all I read is "100% satisfaction Guaranteed". This was not the case... More
P/U Truck blew a head gasket and not driven long or overheated... stopped across from Elmore Toyota.. They towed it in and we agreed to have the heads checked for damage/warp and the gaskets replaced . overheated... stopped across from Elmore Toyota.. They towed it in and we agreed to have the heads checked for damage/warp and the gaskets replaced ... they found the NOX sensor damaged so we agreed to that replacement... and a quoted cost.. *choke* $1400.. when they called after having the truck a week they tried to up sell for a new block... I stopped them and told them.. replace what was agreed to and make it run as well as it had been.. at that point they wanted $2350.. I told them they quoted $1400 and that I would agree to the added cost of the NOX sensor.. the truck was to be finished and ready for pick up.. unfortunately the Christmas holiday was on the weekend so we were unable to pick the truck up until Monday after the holiday. Now this is the 10th day and with what they wanted to charge we asked to speak to the Service Boss.. This was a good turn as the Service Director - Ruben Serna was very understanding of our upset with the charges and made a great effort to make us happier customers. After explaining his parts cost and hours charged I agreed to pay an equal cost of parts for the labor. In his efforts he managed to make us happy and lower the cost to just $12.50 over the quoted price of $1400. Out the door at $1572 with the taxman, but well under what they wanted. Service Director Serna is a recent manager of the service department and is doing his best to re-establish the service department to greatness. The repair work seems to be good quality and warranted for a year. Without any further problems related to their work I would return for additional repairs. More
Went for a starter replacement on a 2002 camry. They charged over $300 for the rebuilt starter and 2 hrs of labor another $200. Although i have bought 3 new toyotas i will not consider another knowing that the toyota corp does such a poor job of controlling how their dealers price their service dept...... More

(bs) (+$2000 deposit) if you say that you have to leave to get your kids because you have already spent 2 hours in there.. they will tell you only 10 more minutes (bs--- +1hr) then you will then get told you have been approved... you will then drive the car of your dreams for a wk then you will find out that you were not approved and been driving without finance and your previous finance company will hound you.. they will then tell you that they have dealt with it (bs) they then say to you that you cannot have your original car back because they have done work on it. and that they will find you a better one (bs + a car which is worse than your original without central locking and electric windows) they then tell you they have financed it (bs AGAIN) you then get towed away with your kids there and then given original car (which you bought from them a year ago and they told you to come bk in 12 months to get a better one) If you want to buy a car with the bs to go with the price then go here,... rude service people... unprofessional staff.. they say they will call you bk and never do... taken a month yo get what??? nothing... I am a veteran and been deployed 3 times to serve my country and when I come back and want to get a new car for my family and new born (with a deposit) I cant even do that!! More
We had done our research, we knew exactly what cars we wanted to test drive and the packages we wanted and didn't want. We were looking at the Venza and the salesman claimed that all of them came with a m wanted to test drive and the packages we wanted and didn't want. This wasn't the worst of his lie-so-they think-you-know-what-you're-talking-about-BS. We test drove a RAV4 - our 2nd time in 2 days doing so - and I started asking about financing and package options. I told him that I didn't want the moon roof and back-up camera (which came together as part of a package). We were sitting in a RAV4 Sport with a moon roof and sales guy begins to tell me that there is no back-up camera in the vehicle and that the moon roof comes standard on the car. He actually began to argue with me - talking over me while I explained my question! I told him that if it was automatically included, they wouldn't list the price as an option on the window sticker. In the meantime, my husband pops the car in reverse, points at the back-up camera, and asks him "what is this?". The guy got caught in his lies! He knew NOTHING about the cars he was selling. I find this insulting to the buyer. However, just more incentive to do your research ahead of time, so you don't get "had" by these sleazeballs. After my husband finished driving the RAV4, I was supposed to drive. However, I was so disgusted that I got out of the car and told the guy we were done. The salesman then peeled away from us in the car - showing his distaste of the situation and his lack of class. Toyota dealerships were 0 for 2 by this point in our car buying. I may never own another Toyota if they continue to employ liars and incompetents like this. More
Visited this joke of a dealership two years ago before purchasing with Penske Toyota. I had put another bad review here for Carson as well. Walked out of here in a hurry. More
