Rich and I have been trying to nail down a deal that could work for me on the exact truck I was looking for since December. Finally, as programs came out, we got the numbers right and the PERFECT truck! More
Very strange Salespeople were very friendly.trying to get offer for sales manager was a long process. Was told to leave and I would be notified by telephone. Never happened.I returned 5days later to get an offer. Process went slow but made a deal .I have purchased many many new cars over last 50 years this was the strangest!!!! More
Amazingly excited!! I've been in search of something different, (dealership, car). I'd been to this dealership in the past but really wasn't ready to buy a car. Now th I've been in search of something different, (dealership, car). I'd been to this dealership in the past but really wasn't ready to buy a car. Now that it was time to buy a car, I remembered how professional and knowledgeable about their cars they were. The staff welcomes you with a smile and they really don't jump all over you when you enter the showroom. I had the priveged of working with Tony as my salesman. Tony was not only truthful, knowledgeable and professional he was also a hoot. He took the pressure and worries about leasing or buying and made me satisfied with my decision. Dan made filling out all those endless papers that needed to be signed hassle free. Keith was the good to person once I received my keys. He went through every feature of the car and encouraged me to ask questions if needed. Took his time, and told me if I needed any help over the next few weeks just to come back and he would be happy to help. So, overall I will say to anyone that is reading this review that if you are looking for a special experience in buying a car. HYATT BUICK, MYRTLE BEACH, is the place for you. Unexpectedly great buying experience! Like most everyone, I have always dreaded going to a any dealership. It's right up there with Root Canals. After some research, my wife and I decided Like most everyone, I have always dreaded going to a any dealership. It's right up there with Root Canals. After some research, my wife and I decided on a Buick Lacrosse. We found a nice looking pre-owned listed by Hyatt. Being greeted OUTSIDE the door by Jodie/sales, he RAN out and drove the car up to the front door. The photos accurately reflected the car inside and out. We went inside to discuss features and pricing. (I really had no particular intention of buying at that time) However, not to be misunderstood here, Jodie did NOT give us ANY pressure at all. My wife liked the car & frankly I could go either way. The kicker (which caught me by surprise), after a test drive and a small bit of conversation, he handed us the keys and said to take it home and drive it around over the weekend. You'd fully expect to sign a bunch of documents and get a DNA samples first. However, NO, "just take the keys & see ya Monday !" Well sure, we liked the car & wanted to keep it. As Hyatt was our first (and last) stop in the quest, the weekend afforded me the opportunity to research other similar cars elsewhere. Showing up Monday armed with realistic data, I expected to either be kicked out or walk out of the showroom. I had a laundry list of pricing and feature items. Although I was expecting a "fight" , Jodie surprised me with a patient and careful review of every sticking point. He did it without "an attitude" particularly in light of the fact that it took some time! Every point was resolved to my satisfaction. In the end, reasonable concessions were made on both sides. Not surprisingly, the Manager Dan got pulled in to approve the price. Dan was a pleasure to deal with. We bought the car on the spot. There were a few "fix it" issues I expected to have to come back to resolve. They dropped everything and the Service dept resolved them immediately! Wow. Cars today come with a truck load of techno features. We fully expected to have to pour over the manual(s) to figure them all out. However, to our complete surprise, Hyatt has a "Customer Experience Manager". Without missing a beat Jodie hands us over to Keith who "held our hand" and walked us through all of the features of the car. It took some time to explain, but he didn't quit till we were comfortable with operating all the features. Returning a few days later to discuss a small rattle in the trunk lid, Keith runs out to greet us and immediately takes off to the SVC dept. Moments later, a SVC Tech inspects the problem and offers to set up an appointment to fix it. OK, I know you are thinking "That's Sales Dept, just wait till you need service....." Well, this is NOT my first car. When the Sales dept is this "on the ball", there exists a good chance that service can be a cut above as well. Time will tell. A service review will certainly follow.... This was as close to a Beverly Hills Exotic Car Sales Staff as you are likely to find on our coast, minus any attitude. LOL More
