I bought a Mercedes and things looked ok on the initial walk-around. When I drove the vehicle home, however, I noticed that the ground effects on both sides were coming apart. On the next afternoon, I re walk-around. When I drove the vehicle home, however, I noticed that the ground effects on both sides were coming apart. On the next afternoon, I returned to the dealership, and the service manager verified my observation-they were indeed "gapped" and capable of coming apart. He estimated that it was a simple, relatively inexpensive fix. When I explained that I did not think I should pay for this fix 24 hrs after the purchase, he turned me over a manager. When he inspected the issue, his response was I bought it, so it was my problem. He said he already finalized the paperwork the previous evening, so it wasn't his problem, and it was a dead issue. In a similar circumstance at a different dealership, a general manager offered to let me take the car to be fixed anywhere, and he would pay for the repair, which was much more than this. He said he would rather lose a few bucks to have a satisfied customer and that he stood behind his inventory. The experience at Beach Buick GMC could not have been farther from this one. If any employee or any commercial related to this business says that they are about customer satisfaction, or that customer care is a priority, a bigger lie has never been told. If the check has cleared, you are on your own, good luck. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. They work like a shady used car lot, and this location is a disgrace to the brands that they represent. More

My husband thought it was a steering stabilizer and asked if they would put something in the contract saying that they would take care of it if it turns out to be the steering stabilizer. They refused. They even had the shop manager come in and tell me they had already replaced the steering stabilizer. My husband had them jack it up and said it doesn’t look new. It’s been two weeks and we’ve had to replace the steering stabilizer, computer flashed and the back breaks. More

He spent extra time researching whether the car I was interested in could be flat towed by an rv and if it met the weight requirement. He persisted to find the answer to our question. Brandon is very personable and a good listener. It is obvious that he cares about his customers and wants to help them reach their goals of buying a car that meets their needs. More
Not surprised this dealership changed names. I am still having issues with this dealership. They sold me a truck with unauthorized & over sized tires & rims. When I drove the truck home, (to Ohio) the truck was pulling really bad. When I took it to my local dealer, who Ive dealt with in the past, they said they will not work on it due to the tires & rims not being on the GM authorized equipment list. So they are selling vehicles illegally that void factory warranties. They sold me tires & rims that are 20", which looks great, but from factory I think they had 17 or 18" on them. That has created a whole different set of problems. Speedometer is off by 2-3 mph, the transmission shifts hard now because the computer thinks the truck is doing 4-5 mph when stopping when it is really doing 6-7 mph. I really don't think they know what they are doing down there. All of my paperwork says the truck has the smaller tires on it, but nothing about the upgraded larger tires & rims. So now I have them on falsifying documentation. I didn't catch that one until a lot later. I want to take them to court, but I can not find an Attorney in SC to take the case. Stay far away from this dealership. More
Bought my 2016 Buick Regal brand new from Hyatt Buick, which is now Beach Buick. They have always taken excellent care of my car. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! !!I I TOOK MY CAR ORIGINALLY TO HYATT GMC IN MYRTLE BEACH 4/29/22 TO REPAIR MY CRUISE CONTROL BECAUSE IT HAD STOP WORKING , I ALSO HAVE A CONVERTABLE !!I I TOOK MY CAR ORIGINALLY TO HYATT GMC IN MYRTLE BEACH 4/29/22 TO REPAIR MY CRUISE CONTROL BECAUSE IT HAD STOP WORKING , I ALSO HAVE A CONVERTABLE TOP THAT I WANTED THEM TO LOOK AT BECAUSE I THOUGHT WAS MOVING SLOW, BUT TO BE HONEST (I NEVER KNEW HOW FAST THE TOP SHOULD MOVE), I FIGURED THEY KNEW BETTER THAN ME SINCE I WAS WAS BASING MY TOP'S SPEED OFF A CORVETTE'S CONVERTABLE TOP I HAD SEEN BEFORE. SO I TRUSTED THEM, TO LET ME KNOW IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM! THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE BRAKE SWITCH THEN I TOLD THEM, BUT I ALREADY TRIED A BRAKE SWITCH AND IT DIDN'T WORK SO THEY TELL ME MY BRAKE SWITCH PROBABLY DIDN'T WORK BECAUSE IT WAS AN AFTER MARKET SWITCH AND IT PROBABLY NEEDED TO BE PROGRAMED AND THAT THEY COULD GET ME ONE BUT THE PART WON'T COME TILL THE WEEKEND AND THEY DON'T WORK ON WEEKENDS SO THEY HAVE IT DONE BY THAT MONDAY SO THEN I ASK ABOUT THE TIRE AND THEY TELL ME THEY DID A ROAD FORCE TEST AND THE REAR WHEEL WAS BENT, SO THEN I ASKED ABOUT THE STRUTS AND THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T FIT BUT THEY CAN ORDER ME THE ONE I NEED AND THAT SHOULD FIX THE MY TOP, NOW AT THIS POINT I WASN'T TO WORRIED ABOUT MY CONVERTABLE TOP BECAUSE I WAS JUST HAPPY THEY FOUND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY TIRE. BECAUSE I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT, THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE ON 4/29/22 AND I ALSO WAS HAPPY THEY FOUND MY CRUISE CONTROL ISSUES, SO SINCE THEY HAD ALREADY HAD MY MY CAR FOR SO LONG I FIGURED IT WOULD LET THEM GO AHEAD A DO IT ALL BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO RISK TAKING MY CAR HOME AND NOT BEING ABLE TO BE BACK AT THE DEARLERSHIP ON TIME WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN AND POSSIBLY HOLDING EVERYBODY UP. BECAUSE OF HOW HECTIC MY JOB IS RIGHT NOW, AND ORIGINALLY I THOUGHT $223 WAS KINDA STEEP FOR TRUNK STRUTS TO BE INSTALL, BUT I SAID TO MY SELF WHATEVER I'LL DO WHAT I GOT TO DO AS LONG THEY DO A GOOD JOB. SO I AGREED TO LET THEM KEEP IT OVER THE WEEKEND, SO ON 6/13/22 I CALL TWICE ONCE IN THE AFTERNOON AND BEFORE THEY CLOSED TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY CAR AND THEY TELL ME THEY WILL CALL ME BACK TOMMOROW SO AFTER NOT GETTING A CALL THE NEXT DAY I HAD TO GO UP THERE AGAIN MYSELF TO GET INFORMATION. AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE BRAKE SWITCH THEY BOUGHT DIDN'T WORK EITHER AND THAT I NEED A BCM MODULATER AND THEY WOULD HAVE I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER FEW DAYS FOR THE PART TO COME IN. SO AT THIS POINT I'M ALEADY UPSET BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A SCENE AND I WAS ALREADY DEALING WITH THEM THIS LONG I MIGHT AS WELL LET THEM FINISH, SO A FEW DAYS GO BY I CALL ON THAT FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY TO CHECK TO SEE IF THEY HAD AN UPDATE I BELIEVE THEY SAID THE PART WASN'T IN YET. SO I HAD THOUGHT TO MYSELF THEY'LL PROBABLY HAVE IT TILL NEXT WEEK BECAUSE OF THEY WAY THINGS WERE GOING, BUT TO MY SUPRISE THEY CALLED ME THAT FRIDAY AND SAID IT WAS READY 6/17/22 SO I PAID THEM, AND DROVE DOWN STREET AND DECIDE TO CHECK MY TRUNK TO SEE IF IT HOLDS NOW, AND TO MY SUPRISE IT FALLS BACK DOWN, BUT THINK TO MYSELF WHAT-EVER ATLEAST MY CRUISE CONTROL WORKS, SO WHEN I TRY TO PUT TOP DOWN, IT WON'T COME DOWN ANYMORE!! AT ALL!! SO I TAKE IT BACK AROUND 5:20PM AND I SHOW ONE OF THE MECHANICS MY ISSUE WITH THE TOP ALONG WITH MY TRUNK STRUTS AND THEY'LL TELL ME THE THE GUY THAT WORKED ON MY CAR JUST LEFT TOWN AND WON'T BE BACK TIL MONDAY AND TO BRING IT BACK, SO I AGREE AGAIN, SO I CALL MONDAY ON MY WAY UP THERE TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A SHUTTLE OR IF I HAVE TO FIND MY OWN RIDE HOME AND HE TELLS ME SORRY THE GUY WHO WORKS ON MY CAR WONT BE BACK TIL TUESDAY NOW, SO BRING IT BACK THEN I SAY OK AGAIN, SO I TAKE IT TO THEM AGAIN AND DROPPED IT OFF, AND 2 DAY LATER 6/23/22 THEY CALL AND TELL ME THEY NEVER TOUCH THE TOP OR THE TRUNK STRUTS BECAUSE THEY NEVER GOT ANY PARTS FOR IT AND THAT THEY ACCIDENTLY CHARGED ME FOR THE TRUNK STRUTS AND MAYBE THE BATTERY DIED THATS WHAT FINISHED THE FAILING TOP AND BECAUSE( I SAID) THE TOP WAS STALLING WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN, AND THAT IT (PROBABLY) JUST FINALLY JUST WENT OUT . THE FACTS OF THE MATTER IS I NEVER SAID THE TOP WAS STALLING I SAID I THINK ITS MOVES KIND OF SLOW BUT REALLY I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW FAST THE TOP WAS SUPPOSE TO GO UP OR DOWN ANYWAYS, I WAS DEPENDING ON THEM TO LET ME KNOW IF THATS HOW IT WORKS OR IF THEY COULD DO SOMETHING BETTER TOO IT IF IT WAS SLOW, BUT NOW THE TOP DOSENT WORK AT ALL. I HAD THE CAR FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND IT NEVER STALLED I JUST WANTED IT FASTER IF THEY COULD MAKE IT THAT WAY. BUT WHEN THEY WROTE MY CUSTOMER COMPLAINT UP THEY SAID I SAID IT STALLS SOMETIMES? WHICH I NEVER SAID, AND THE REASON I DIDN'T CORRECT THEM ORIGINALLY IS BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST SUMMARIZING WHAT I SAID SINCE I DIDN'T REALLY KNOW IF I EVEN HAD A PROBLEM WITH TOP AND TO BE HONEST, AFTER LOOKING MY CAR UP ON YOUTUBE THE TOP WAS FINE AND MY CAR IN GENARAL JUST HAS A SLOW CONVERTABLE TOP COMPARED TO THE CORVETTES I WAS BASING IT OFF OF, BUT ANY WAYS THEY TOLD ME THEY FOUND SOME STRUTS FOR MY CAR AND THEY WILL PUT THEM ON FOR FREE SINCE THEY CHARGED ME BY ACCIDENT AND THAT THEY WOULD GIVE ME MY $20 BACK FOR THE PART THEY NEVER PUT ON AND TO BRING IT BACK TO THEM AND THE'Y'LL TRY TO FIX IT,. WHICH AT THIS POINT I JUST WANTED MY CAR BACK TO NORMAL SO I AGREED, SO AGAIN I DROP MY CAR OFF AGAIN WITH THEM AND THEY CALL AND TELL ME THAT STRUTS THAT THEY HAVE DON'T WORK EITHER AND TO GIVE HIM 24HRS AND HE'LL LET ME KNOW SOMETHING, SO HERE I AM 48HRS LATER AND NO PHONE CALL AGAIN AND I HAD TO GO UP THERE AGAIN TO FIND OUT IF THEY FOUND ANYTHING WHICH THEY HAVEN'T AND REALLY, I BELEIVE THEY ARE JUST SAYING WHATEVER AT THIS POINT HOPING I FADE AWAY. SO I AM HERE LETTING PEOPLE KNOW DO NOT GO TO HYATT GMC IN MYRTLE BEACH FOR ANY SERVICE IT WAS WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A DEALERSHIP OR ANY AUTO MECHANIC PLACE I'VE HAD BETTER SERVICE WITH SHADE TREE MECHANICS AND BEFORE I FORGET , THEY TOLD ME MY REAR TIRE RIM WAS BENT (WHICH IT WAS) BUT SO WAS THE FRONT TIRE RIM WHICH I FOUND BECAUSE I TOOK OFF THE WRONG TIRE TO GO GET REPAIR, I THOUGHT THE LADY ON THE PHONE AT THE TIME TOLD ME IT WAS THE FRONT RIGHT BUT SHE ACTUALLY SAID THE REAR, BUT MY POINT IS THAT GMC SAID THEY DID A ROAD FORCE TEST ON MY CAR AND THE FOUND REAR WAS BENT BUT WHY DIDN'T THEY FIND THE OTHER 1 TOO? DID THEY JUST CHECK 1 TIRE WHY NOT ALL 4 WHEN YOU ARE CHARGING ME OVER $100HR , SO NOW IM WAITING ON ANOTHER RIM TO COME IN LATER BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THE OTHER RIM WAS BENT AFTER I HAD ALREADY PAID THEM TO CHECK (MY TIRES) SO HERE'S MY EXPERIENCE IN A NUTSHELL 1. I WENT TO GET MY CRUISE CONTROL AND 2. TO FIX MYTIRES AND 3. FOR THEM TO TAKE A LOOK AT MY TOP I LEFT WITH, 1 A FIXED CRUISE CONTROL, AND 2. THE SAME BENT RIMS (ONE RIM THEY DIDN'T EVEN FIND) AND 3. THE SAME BROKEN TRUNK STRUTS, AND 4 THE BROKEN CONVERTABLE TOP THAT WONT OPEN NOW AT ALL!! AND I PAID THEM $106 FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND $756 FOR WHAT THEY CONSIDER A FINISHED JOB WHICH ALL TOGETHER IS $862 SO DON'T BE LIKE ME AND TRUST THE WRONG PEOPLE BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GIVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY TOO. I MEAN AIN'T IT FUNNY THAT THE DAY I GET MY CAR BACK THE GUY IS OUT OF TOWN AND THEN THE PART THAT CAN MAKE THEM LIABLE (TRUNK STRUTS) THEY TELL ME THEY DIDN'T TOUCH IT, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD NO PROBLEM CHARGINGING ME FOR IT, THEY TRYING TO TELL ME THEY NEVER TOUCHED THE TOP EVEN THOUGH THATS ONE OF THE REASON I WENT THERE? AND OUT OF ALL THOSE WEEKS NOBODY EVEN TRIED TO SEE IF THE TOP EVEN WORKED? SO THEY WHERE JUST GOING TO CHANGE THE STRUTS WITHOUT SEEING IF I EVEN HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE TOP? I GUESS THEY JUST TOOK MY WORD FOR IT EVEN THOUGH I'M PAYING THEM TO CHECK FOR ME! THIS PLACE IS TRASH PERIOD More

They failed to recognize however, that it needed a new transmission, a new catalytic converter, new rear struts and new rear brakes! Other than that the thing is running perfectly! So if you want to dump another 4 or $5,000 into an already overpriced car, go to Hyatt Buick in Myrtle Beach! More
I was riding by Hyatt dealership and spotted a car that i admired. I spoke with Anthony F who arranged a test drive. I liked the car and I liked the valuation of my car. The office manager arranged the transfer of my plates and also the registration of my new car and I left with new car in about 2 hrs.. Later that week I noticed a strip of chrome on a door had come loose. I took it in and they repaired the small defect at no charge. I am very satisfied with the dealership and will reccommend them to all. More
