I had a wonderful experience with Bayside Volkswagen. Not only were they friendly but they were extremely fair and accommodating. I was in the market for a new car after driving my Mitsubishi for 15 years. I have always heard wonderful things about Volkswagens and decided to purchase one. During my visit to the Bayside dealer, they took the time to explain our options and showed us a car that suited our needs. I was also able to sell them the car that served me well for so long. I would highly recommend that everyone visit the Bayside Volkswagen dealership. They will be treated well and walk away with a high quality automobile at an incredibly fair price. All the people that work there are great! More

my recent visit to bayside vw, was to purchase my 2008 gti that i had leased. i had already secured a loan from my credit union and needed apurchase order for my credit union to satisfy the loan. i was in gti that i had leased. i had already secured a loan from my credit union and needed apurchase order for my credit union to satisfy the loan. i was informed by the sales mgr. that they could get a loan thru vw credit with a better % rate, it was a little better, and i have been buying or leasing vws since '83 thru vw credit thru GC VW now defunct. But, i was NOT INFORMED UP FRONT ABOUT A $500.00 fee that accompanied this loan, my mistake for not checking each and every figure, that was done when i came home and did my own checking. i immediately called to find out about an extra 500.00 i could not account for, the sales mgr. did not call me back,sales rep. john albanese called to tell me yes it was a sales fee. John did not do the paper work, because he would have went item by item with me , as he had done many times over the yrs. at GC, i absolve john of any complicity in this sale. my bad for not asking more questions and checking the numbers. but its no way to run a business. Very atypical experience with a dealer, he was not pushy just helpful and attentive. He was also very knowledgeable about cars in general. The salesperson (Mohammed) was very professional. I do not feel I got the lowest price possible, just under MSRP, but there were other considerations - I have had good experience with their service depart not feel I got the lowest price possible, just under MSRP, but there were other considerations - I have had good experience with their service department in the past; I purchased several new cars from this dealer and all were delivered on time, as ordered, and in perfect condition. So as far as I am concerned, the Bayside VW experience was a good one. More
