recall, oil change Not a professional establishment. Service from outside where you drop the car off up to the counter is terrible. Over priced as well. Crooks Brought my leased 2016 Compass in because check engine light was on. The car has very low mileage and has been well maintained. Was told that car was still under warranty since it was still within both time and mileage window. When they looked up the VIN and saw that I do not use them for routine maintenance (we use a reliable local station with all of our cars for 15+ years with NO ISSUES), salesman made a remark about how we don’t go there for maintenance and that we still had a free oil change. I explained that the oil had been changed when we had the car inspected IN APRIL. He said may as well do it anyway. The. I got a call that the check engine light was on because the oxygen sensor was damaged. They claimed that “whoever did the oil change didn’t put the cap on and there is oil all over the engine” so the replacement would not be covered! When asked how the car could have been driven the last 3 months without noticing an oil smell or a spot on the pavement under where the car is parked, I was told to come down and see for myself. They are lying thieves. Many years ago they told me that my last car needed 2000k worth of work. When I took it to my local station, they told me that was crazy. Did some minor repair work and the car ran well for 5-6 more years! I have been fooled twice by these people. NEVER AGAIN!!!!M More
Service Department was terrible I did not buy my Jeep here. I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee at a dealership in Manhattan but I live in Queens so it is easier to take it to Bayside f I did not buy my Jeep here. I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee at a dealership in Manhattan but I live in Queens so it is easier to take it to Bayside for service. I dropped my truck off on Wednesday afternoon. Never heard from the dealership about what was wrong with it. Finally called on Monday and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up, called back, hold again for 8 minutes. Finally a service rep gets on the phone and tells me what is wrong and the part is coming in the next day. Never calls the next day with an update. I call back. Truck is being worked on and may be ready Wednesday, maybe Thursday. He'll let me know. Rep did call on Wednesday to let me know that I could pick up the truck on Thursday. When I went to pick up my truck, they returned it to me with grease all over the steering wheel and ZERO gas. ZERO. The gas light indicator was on and the car was running on fumes. I had dropped it off with a quarter of a tank of gas so it being returned with ZERO is completely unacepptable. I couldn't go back inside due to time restraints so I called my service rep and explained how dissatisfied I was with the condition my car was returned to me in. He apologized and told me he would speak to his manager and call me back. That was Thursday. This is Tuesday. I never received any call from anyone. I am completely appalled at the lack of customer service afforded to me at a DEALERSHIP. Ridiculous. Also, they don't have any loaner cars so unless you rent a car out of your own pocket, you are without a car while they take their sweet time diagnosing your car trouble. It took 5 days for them to diagnose what was the problem with my vehicle even though the computer tells them where to look. Obviously, they just didn't look for 5 days. More

Transmission and Brake code warnings. Bayside Chrysler's late hours allowed me to drop off my vehicle after work which was a huge convenience. The staff was friendly and informed me of all Bayside Chrysler's late hours allowed me to drop off my vehicle after work which was a huge convenience.
