Would not recommend buying a used car from this dealership! About a month ago I purchased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Bayside Auto of Annapolis. I had been looking for a long time an dealership! About a month ago I purchased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Bayside Auto of Annapolis. I had been looking for a long time and this particular one checked all of the boxes. When I first went to look at the car they told me there was an issue with the air suspension system, but assured me it would be taken care of and the car would go through a thorough inspection fixing anything that was wrong with the car. I went back a couple of days later they could not locate the vehicle and determined one of the mechanics took it home explaining to me this was common to test that everything was working with the vehicle. I went back the following day and took it for a test drive and ended up purchasing the Jeep. I had it for one day and a message appeared on the dash" Immediate Suspension Repair Needed", so the following day I took it back they had it for a couple of days, driving home the same message came back up so I took it back to the dealer again. A repair was made and covered under the 30 day warranty. Forgot to mention when I first drove the car home I noticed a slight antifreeze odor but figured that someone might have spilled a little while they were servicing the car. The car was at the dealership for a total of seven days, I picked it up right before the big snow storm so I wasn't driving it hardly at all. When the snow started to melt I started driving the car this time paying attention to the antifreeze smell and sure enough it was still there. I took a flash light and looked at the radiator and I could see that it was leaking. I brought it back to the dealership and explained the issue and I needed to get it taken care of because the warranty was about to expire. Did not hear from them for three days, but noticed they sent an email on day two with recommended service totaling $1,500, so I called the service department and asked what was going on they told me that my warranty was only for the engine and drive train and they would not cover the radiator. Long story short they explained to me this was a discounted price and that they were not taking any responsibility. I took the car to another mechanic to change the radiator; as they were evacuating the AC system they informed me that they only recovered 1/2 of the required refrigerant that the system required, upon further inspection it was determined that the AC condenser was also leaking and needed to be replaced . These issues were apparently present when I bought the car, but ignored by Bayside Auto before selling the car; they simply cleared the code on the suspension system without addressing the real problem, they ignored the smell of the anti freeze and did not check the AC system during their initial inspection when the car was getting ready to be sold. Bayside Auto assured me that the car was in excellent condition when I purchased the car and I took their word that it was. I did not expect to have to pay thousands of dollars on a car that I just purchase a month ago, and only drove it about 400 miles. I would not recommend purchasing anything from Bayside Auto of Annapolis ever!!!!!!! More

Since the vehicle is still under warranty, I brought it to Bayside for what I assumed would be straightforward warranty service. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but professional. The service rep, Hannah, quickly snapped photos of the windshield to submit a warranty claim but refused my offer to move the vehicle to a shaded area so the crack could be photographed clearly — resulting in sun glare and poor images that failed to show the issue accurately. She seemed in a rush and did not take the time needed to properly document the problem. As expected, the claim was denied, and when I followed up a week later, I offered to bring the car back in for better photos. Instead of helping, Bayside refused, saying they would only resubmit the same flawed photos. They said they’d talk to their GM about working something out — but I never received a callback. After waiting over two months, I called again and was told by the service department that they would not do anything to help me. I asked to speak to a manager or the GM and was bluntly refused. I was told there was "nothing they were willing to do." This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I bought a brand-new vehicle with the expectation of being treated with integrity, especially when warranty issues arise. Instead, I received rushed service, poor communication, and zero accountability. Buyer beware — once they sell you the car, you’re on your own. I would not recommend Bayside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to anyone based on their lack of support, customer service, and refusal to stand by their product. More

Purchased a used Jeep Wrangler for my daughter who is in college. The car stopped working a month after we purchased it. Working with Brittany was seamless. I bought a used car from here from Christian. He was great and really the only reason that I bought the car was because of him. If this was based on him I would give five stars. However, when it came time to sign papers I had to go into the finance lady’s office. I think her name was Melva or something similar that starts with an M. She was extremely derogatory towards me. I was in there with my husband and she made several comments regarding how I was lucky to have a man to buy me things and I was lucky he was there to know about cars. And when I denied the warranty she was rude and essentially snatched the paper away from me when I refused the deal. She then had me sign the finance papers and when I did she stood up said here’s your keys and I left. No hand shake or warm wishes at all she was very unprofessional and rude. If this is how this company does business I am sorry for all who have to deal with her. I also had an issue that three days after my car was home it died. The sales manager, Kenny, said I would have to pay for the battery. After some arguing with him he said I could get it done free of charge. I found it very unprofessional that I would have to pay for something to be fixed that was clearly bad before I bought it. The parts person I dealt with was named Brittany. She was amazing and I would recommend anyone go to see her as she was the best part of the experience for me when dealing with the issue. In closing Christian and Brittany are amazing employees. And the dealership should be lucky to have them. Because they are the only reason I bought and kept the car. More
