Thorough and fast, but something a little weird happened My annual service was finished quickly as usual, but I noticed something a little weird on my way home. My rearview mirror's dashcam wasn't powering u My annual service was finished quickly as usual, but I noticed something a little weird on my way home. My rearview mirror's dashcam wasn't powering up. I noticed the light on the power adapter was not on so I tried another device in there and it worked fine. So I looked closely at the power adapter for the camera, and the retractable node on the power adapter was very loose, with tiny indentations on the plastic nut as if it had been loosened with pliers. The cable for it had also been pulled out of the molding for a few feet and I had to tuck it back in. I tightened the nut by hand and it works fine now. It just doesn't make any sense why that would be done. More
