Problem with my car starting - went to Subaru dealer at 7:42am. Met to associate (not very welcoming, abrupt). He is surely no Mike. I think his name was Mark. The conversation went like this: - . “My car couldn’t start this morning”. He said, you had to jump start it.” - Me: Yes - Him: nothing - Me: I had similar problem 2 Christmas Holiday ago 2017 and this past Christmas time. Subaru wasn’t open twice when this happen. Had to buy new battery. - Him: it’s not a Subaru battery so that will be $125. I see that you are due for an oil change, do you want to do it now. - Me: yes - Him: the oil change will be $60. Sign here. (Bill was $189). Will you be waiting for the car? - Me: no. do you have a loaner. - Him: (no eye contact, busy on his tablet). No, I have no loaner. Is this your address and number. - Me: yes - Him: I will call you later about the car. I love my Subaru but the customer service sucks. I had my car service last year October 2018 and wouldn’t they check and see that it wasn’t a Subaru battery then. All of a sudden, no assessment was completed on my initial visit but yet the customer service agent, already had a charge for battery and no further diagnostic was yet done. What was I suppose to do in Christmas season with close Subaru services and car can’t start? I had my 2 years with Subaru with a defective battery? They were unable to find the problem. I left my car overnight to see the same problem recur but it didn’t. I am still apprehensive about driving my car too far away from home especially with the safety of my family. I got a jump starter to use if it happens again. Not happy paying $125 to be told they couldn’t find the problem. I keep saying that I will not go to this Subaru dealer in Brooklyn. The convenience of this being closer to home and the customer service I received from Mike the last servicing was great and I came back. I think the rep has no personality. Blah. Nothing against the guy. I had to call the following day to find out about the status of my car. If I have to change car, my love for Subaru May have to die and find another car maker. I left Nissan for Subaru Safety records. however, customer service at Subaru is not great. I could simple stay with Nissan where my business/service was more valued. More

Oil changed in a short time. Not a long wait I was disappointed that I missed the 24,000 miles or 2 year time period of my maintenance plan. I had 25,000 miles on my 2017 Subaru.
