Bay Ridge Subaru is BY FAR the best Subaru dealership I've ever worked with. Normally I don't use the dealer for car maintenance after the initial warranty is over, but BRS is so good and accommodating I've ever worked with. I wish I could give a great review as the team here is very friendly and professional but unfortunately, there was a rather large mistake made that makes me second-guess coming back here. I ordered Goody very friendly and professional but unfortunately, there was a rather large mistake made that makes me second-guess coming back here. I ordered Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady tires to be put on my car so that it was safe to drive in the snow. I brought my car in for the new tires to be put on as well as multi-point inspection, etc. I picked my car up the following day, drove 30 minutes home and all seemed well. The next day I go to the car and realize only then that the completely wrong set of tires was put on my car. I double-checked my order and email confirmation to make sure I'd given them the right tire info and I did. The tires they put on were Geolandar G91 tires which are unfortunately pretty bad in the snow. So I had to drive back and wait while they put the right tires on which took nearly 3 hours out of my workday. I was not offered any type of discount for the mistake. It's hard for me to trust that the multi-point inspection was done properly if the wrong tires were put on. More
The staff was wonderful and kept me informed. However, when I picked up my car, it smelled of what I thought was gasoline. When the smell didn't go away and smoke started coming from the hood a couple day when I picked up my car, it smelled of what I thought was gasoline.
