Let me start by saying, " I hate salesman!!". I hate the way they lie, i hate that fake, stupid smile they put on their faces, and i hate they way they talk to you like they are brilliant and you are a moro way they lie, i hate that fake, stupid smile they put on their faces, and i hate they way they talk to you like they are brilliant and you are a moron. Ive been dreading going to a dealership because i don't like to be taken advantage of, but i needed a certified car, so i went. When i got to bay ridge Honda, Jeff Goldberg met me at the door, i told him i was interested in a 07 Honda pilot, and he immediately went to work. He pulled up about 12 pilots on his computer and showed me them in his lot. One pilot that was listed was no where to be found on the lot, of course that was the one i wanted. in minutes Jeff had tracked it down in the service garage, it had just arrived to the dealership. Jeff escorted me across the street and down the block to the garage. The car was filthy, but i knew that the "car cleaning guys" would make it look brand new. So lets make a deal. I was already pre-approved from MCU at 8.40 %, but for only 20,000.This was my budget. The price of the car was 21,960. I only had 3000 to put down and after taxes and tags the price was getting up there. So Jeff suggested they run my credit and try to get me a cheaper rate, but i had to drop a 500 deposit before hand. Of course this is where i figured i was supposed to drop my pants and grab my ankles. Jeff assured me that if the payments didn't work for me , i would get my 500 back with no problem. GGrrrrr....ok lets do it. The next morning we were hit with 2 feet of snow, Jeff had called me first thing and told me i was approved and he was waiting on the finance guy to tell me what percent i was getting. As the day went on , the snow kept coming, and i didn't hear from Jeff. i was kind of aggravated, but because of the bad weather, i figured they just left for the day. I couldn't blame them, i was just very anxious and excited to hear how close i was getting to my truck. The next morning the finance guy calls me and gives me a rate of 7%...HOMERUN!, but at what cost? He told me what my payments to the dollar would be and i agreed , but if it was a penny more when i got there he could forget it, don't try and sell me anything with it, lo jack, extended warranty, nothing...nothing more , he agrees.i figured i'm not giving him a chance to screw me. two mins later Jeff calls, "ok when do you want it?" "yesterday", i said. He said "ok, let me pull 2 guys off of shoveling snow and get your car cleaned up ill see you in 4 hours, with all of the paper work ready". mmmmm....ok, ill see you then, i guess this is the part where i get ripped off. i met with C.J. the finance guy and he had all the paper work laid out for me, he explained in detail what everything was , i read them and signed and i owned the truck!! 20 mins, and i had the keys?.?.?...no lying....no screwing.... nothing... these guys were great. I am going to recommend Jeff to everyone, this guy explained every single feature in the car after he installed my new plates. i cant believe how worked up i got for nothing..I figured someone at least would have took a shot at ripping me off, but they couldn't have been more honest. My experience at bay ridge Honda was excellent, i couldn't be happier. Jeff and C.J., thank you very much and i look forward to doing business with you again. More

We purchased a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica from Paul Berry in November. The initial sales experience was fine but it went downhill from there. We asked if the car came with two keys. We were assured that it d November. The initial sales experience was fine but it went downhill from there. We asked if the car came with two keys. We were assured that it did but after leaving the dealership, we found that one key only opened the door but did not turn on the ignition. We find it hard to believe that Honda did not check out both keys when they were doing their pre-sales inspection of the vehicle. We ended up having to go to Chrysler to get an additional key cut at a cost of $261. Also during the purchase, there was a message on the dashboard of the car which said that we should "service tyre system soon". Paul assured us that the message on the dashboard would go away after 50 miles. The Chrysler dealer told us that the sensor was broken and would need to be fixed for the message to go away. Chrysler said that if the sensor was reset, it should reset and the message would go away after 5 miles so they found it extremely hard to believe that the Honda dealer did not know the sensor was broken. We spoke to Paul about these issues several times and he said that he would talk to his manager and get back to us on it but never did. More
One of the worst business experiences in my life. This dealership represents the very lowest standard of ethics. They promised me three items when I agreed to the price of the car, but delivered only two. dealership represents the very lowest standard of ethics. They promised me three items when I agreed to the price of the car, but delivered only two. Their reason was that the model I bought did not have room for the third item, but they knew exactly the model I was buying. The salesperson Andy Feldman, who is out of his depth, lied to me, as did his manager Hank. Feldman then called me that he was confused about the models, but that he could not do anything about it, and that I should give him excellent evaluations so that he could get a bonus. No evaluation forms were ever submitted to me. Absolutely no compensation was offered; in fact I was told that I got a good price on the car and that I should be satisfied. Since these dealerships are franchises, a representative from Honda of America, despite his phone calls, could do nothing. A manager told me that since I did not have anything in writing, he would do nothing, and this despite the fact that I had two witnesses to the verbal promise made by Feldman, including a different Honda dealer, who heard everything over a speaker phone. The manager told me he did not care anything about this and would not compensate me in any way. What a shameful scam. In addition, I was vastly overcharged for the license and registration for bringing the car to another state. The DMV of this state told me this was shady activity, as I was overcharged, and they will investigate. I had to pay an additional $296 to extend my temporary driving permit, as Bay Ridge Honda would not do anything. In fact they told me to drive illegally, so a salesman, representing the otherwise fine name and reputation of Honda, advocating breaking the law of another state. Buyers beware; you have been warned. Bay Ridge Honda will lie and steal from you, as they did me. I am not the only one; read other reviews of this place and you will see. Shame on them. More
My wife and I bought a Civic from Joe 10 years ago w/o any problems. He was honest and upfront with his pricing. We finally went back to Joe to buy another car due to our growing family. We were not disap any problems. He was honest and upfront with his pricing. We finally went back to Joe to buy another car due to our growing family. We were not disappointed, Joe showed us great care and patience in helping us make a choice. He spent hours showing us the carfax's, the list of items that the dealer did to certify the used cars and the test drives. After all that was said and done, we chose a used Pilot that looks and runs brand new. I would highly recommend any one that is looking for a car, whether new or used to go to Joe because of his patience, knowledge of the car and his sincerity of pricing. More
I had no time to think, that almost made me leave. You should give customers more time to think. The price was ok that's why I bought my car. Everything else was great. The dealer knows his work. My husband and I went to Bay Ridge Honda to purchase a Certified Used Honda a few days ago and overall, we had a great experience. Not only did we get the car we wanted for a reasonable price, the service Certified Used Honda a few days ago and overall, we had a great experience. Not only did we get the car we wanted for a reasonable price, the service was excellent. Before purchasing our car from Bay Ridge Honda, my husband and I visited another Honda dealer in the NYC area to do a cost and inventory comparison. We were more satisfied with Honda Bay Ridge because they didn’t play games and we were able to purchase our vehicle very quickly and with confidence that we had gotten a reasonable deal. Even AFTER we purchased our vehicle, we needed assistance regarding our donated car and our salesperson Paul was still extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend Honda Bay Ridge to family and friends and to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Certified Used Honda. More

Even though I needed to buy a new car, I dreaded the visit to the car dealer... so many stories about scams, rudeness, etc. BUT I did my homework on the car I wanted to buy and then sent an email to Ba visit to the car dealer... so many stories about scams, rudeness, etc. BUT I did my homework on the car I wanted to buy and then sent an email to Bay Ridge Honda to begin the process of purchasing it. My first pleasant surprise was the quick response from Allison DelleCave who answered my questions, provided several prices and scheduled an appointment for me for the next day. My appointment with Jaime Fernandez couldn't have been better. He took lots of time, answered questions, showed me many cars and helped me make a good decision. He was polite, patient, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Scott (don't know his last name), who was the last person I spoke with, didn't push for extras I didn't want and also was also very funny. The entire process took awhile but, by the end of the day, I had a new car. So far, my experience with Bay Ridge Honda has been excellent. More
