They tried to give me significantly less than fair value for my trade in. They wouldn't even give me half of what KBB, Edmunds, or Manheim, say. They even printed up the reports that showed my vehicle in for my trade in. They wouldn't even give me half of what KBB, Edmunds, or Manheim, say. They even printed up the reports that showed my vehicle in "good," condition was worth more than twice what they were willing to give me on my trade. They tried saying they felt the transmission was slipping. I drive that car every day and have never had any issues. I think they are very unethical. This should have been the easiest sale they made. I was paying asking price and I was asking dealer trade in value, but they tried to maximize their profits at my expense. I think them making a few thousand dollars for an hour of work was worth their time, but they didn't agree. I went to another dealership, the used car manager drove my car for a few miles and didn't notice any transmission issues. I would stay away from this Performance. I feel it was very unethical of them to make false statements in an attempt to "steal," my trade. Oh, on another note, they were trying to charge me a few percentage points higher than the rate my credit union has posted. So, if you need to buy from them it is best to arrange financing first and sell your car outright. More
I had some alignment problem with my certified pre owned vehicle which I bought less than 2 weeks ago. I requested for an alignment check as I thought the problem is with the road surface and not with my ca vehicle which I bought less than 2 weeks ago. I requested for an alignment check as I thought the problem is with the road surface and not with my car. They told me they have complimentary alignment check up. I DID NOT ask them to perform any alignment service. When I got my car, I was charged $79.95 as they have performed the alignment service which I did not ask them to. They should have asked my permission to fix the alignment as I can do it in other Toyota dealer for $69.95. Very disappointed with the overall service received. Also, I just put on less than 2000 miles on my certified pre own Toyota and there is alignment problem. What is the point of buying certified pre owned vehicle then if they don't work as promised? Seems like all dealers are similar, they just want your business and don't care about any thing else. I am quite disappointed with them. More
