The people we met were friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in-we drove away satisfied and so far still are. We were contacted later to see if we had any conc knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in-we drove away satisfied and so far still are. It was very refreshing to find a car salesman that took the time we needed and treated us the way we wanted to be treated. So all and all by far this was one of the best car buying experiences we have had in a very long time. More
My first time at Performance was not the best, which was about three years ago, so I went and bought a Mustang from another dealership that was in Omaha. Needless to say when problems came up with the Must about three years ago, so I went and bought a Mustang from another dealership that was in Omaha. Needless to say when problems came up with the Mustang I was treated in a way that was not right from the dealer that I had bought the car from. So I was looking around at different cars and decided to give Performance another chance to win my business and they did, not only did they help me get a great rate financing they were willing to do anything that it took to make the sale. I know that may seem bad, but unlike the other dealers that are around here they wanted to get me the car that I wanted in the price range that I could afford. Ben was great during this time, in that he allowed me to test drive several different Mustangs around and allowed me to take my time so that I made sure that I was making the right choice in trading in a Mustang that I loved for a new and better Mustang. I would recommend this dealership and sales person to anyone who is wanting to buy a new Ford or a good used car, because they car about the person and not just making a buck here and there. More
We had been to 4 other dealerships prior to arriving at Performance Ford. Buying a new car can be like going to the dentist. It is something that one usually dreads. We had been at another Ford dealersh Performance Ford. Buying a new car can be like going to the dentist. It is something that one usually dreads. We had been at another Ford dealership in Omaha where we had been treated very rudely. Obviously this older gentlemen did not think that women had the buying power to purchase a vehicle. This guy was a total jerk and when we had talked to some other women we got the same feedback about this dealership. When we arrived at Performance Ford we were immediatly greeted with a friendly smile from Kevin. He went above and beyond to make this experience very positive. We specifically told him our needs and what we were looking for. My sister and I were with my aunt shopping for a new vehicle for her. Kevin immediately focused in on my aunt and her needs. She drove a Ford Escape and a Fusion. She fell in love with the Ford Fusion. This was her first Ford purchase. The specific car she wanted was not on the lot and had to be located. Kevin had been very aware and intune to her needs throughout the conversation. He made it very easy when choosing the options that would be best for her. He was so positive and up beat that he made this a very enjoyable experience. When the car arrived he was there to greet us. He spent much time with her going over all the options. Kevin should be the example for all car sales people. His upbeat, attentive and caring personality is quite an asset to Performance Ford. Thanks Kevin! I plan on letting many people know about my experience and giving them Kevin's name and number. More
The scores above are for L.D. the Sales Manager at Performance Ford not our sales person. Our visit was to trade in our lease and purchase a 2010 Escape Limited. Ambrose, our salesman, is wonderfu Performance Ford not our sales person. Our visit was to trade in our lease and purchase a 2010 Escape Limited. Ambrose, our salesman, is wonderful to deal with. My father purchased an Explorer and we leased a Fusion from him previously. We had spoken with Ambrose previously letting him know we may be in the market for a 2010 Escape Limited V6. When we went to Performance Ford things had changed greatly. L.D., the new car manager, wanted to handle everything and handcuffed his sales people's ability to do their job. We spent several hours at the dealership working on putting a deal together. Since I am an employee of Ford Motor Credit there are certain benefits I receive when buying a new car and other then negotiating the value of our trade in the deal should be pretty simple as the price I pay for the vehicle is already determined by Ford. At the end of the day we decided to hold off for a bit, mainly out of frustration caused by L.D. About 3 weeks later we decided that we really wanted to purchase a new Escape and owed it to Ambrose to give Performance another shot. They still had the vehicle we were looking at on their lot and we told Ambrose we wanted to try and make a deal on the vehicle again. L.D. had changed the way his sales people work again, now even though we knew the vehicle we wanted and Ambrose knew the vehicle we wanted L.D.’s policy was for his sales people to take down what the customers were looking for in a vehicle and he would find something in their inventory and write down a price. So when Ambrose came back L.D. had selected a 2010 Ford Escape Limited I4 with a higher payment then where we were at with the V6 3 weeks earlier. We told Ambrose that the vehicle and price were unacceptable. After Ambrose had to run back and forth a few times, essentially being degraded to nothing more than a messenger, L.D. came over to try and close the deal (again because I work for Ford and we knew the vehicle we wanted this whole process shouldn’t have taken more than an hour or so). Eventually I told L.D. I felt he didn’t want to sell us a vehicle. He assured us that he did and even showed us how he was going above and beyond by taking an extra $500 off my price and giving us the incentive financing along with $1500 of the rebate as well, then pretty much point blank told us we need to be reasonable and give some as well. I later found out that the extra $500 L.D. was giving us was actually a rebate for Ford employees and the $1500 was for returning Red Carpet Lease customers, so much for L.D. going above and beyond for us. After spending almost 4 hours and wasting a Saturday trying to reach a deal my wife and I both had a bad feeling about the whole thing and left without making a purchase. In the end we went to another dealership the following Monday. My wife called and let them know the exact vehicle we were looking at earlier in the day, and within 30 minutes we had a deal on a 2010 Limited V6 that was better than the best deal L.D. could attempt to put together. I do not see us returning to Performance Ford until there is better management in place. Initially I worked with Keenan to craft the deal on a very nice 2006 Expedition. Keenan was very up-front about the pricing and fair on the trade value of my vehicle. Once we had an agreement, Keenan w very nice 2006 Expedition. Keenan was very up-front about the pricing and fair on the trade value of my vehicle. Once we had an agreement, Keenan worked with his financial folks who were able to get me acceptable financing. THANKS KEENAN! I drove to Omaha the following day to put ink to the offer and they were ready to receive me. Nathan filled in for Keenan as it was Keenan's day off. He treated the deal as if it were his own. He made sure all questions were answered and that each step of the process went smoothly. Nathan did a terrific job and definitely deserves the 'Job Well Done' award. THANKS NATHAN! Finance was the final stop and there I met Terry. Terry was prepared to explain the financing as well as all GAP and extended warranty options. Terry definitely knows his stuff and was able to walk through all of the paperwork smoothly. THANKS TERRY! In conclusion, I would recommend Performance Ford to anyone without reservation. Give them a try! You will be pleasantly surprised at how well your purchase will go. More
Rocky was awesome from start to finish, she was just so focused on taking care of me. I have been new car shopping before, but always ended up buying used. This time I had someone looking out for me and my focused on taking care of me. I have been new car shopping before, but always ended up buying used. This time I had someone looking out for me and my best interests. The car I wanted wasn't on the lot, so they located one for me and gave me a new car to drive until my car came in. Picked it up this morning and I absolutely love it. I will be back later this year to buy a Ford Edge for my wife. Performance Ford was great to work a new car deal. We will definitely be back. More
I would highly recommend Performance Ford to anyone buying a car (my neighbor just bought a car from therm as well and they are very pleased). I was treated with respect and very fair throughout the b buying a car (my neighbor just bought a car from therm as well and they are very pleased). I was treated with respect and very fair throughout the buying experience. Also, I did some research before going in to get a good idea on the value of my trade and the value of the car for sales - I really feel good about the overall price of my car. Finally, I'm a little particular when it comes to buying a car and I requests several "things" for my new purchase. They have been very timely on ordering these items and calling me as soon as they arrive. The follow up and service has been great. Overall, my experience with Performance Ford was outstanding. More
Performance ford was a very good dealership to work with. I saw one of their postings on a local site in Omaha and went in to find the car I was looking for to replace my broken ride. Unfortunately, the ca I saw one of their postings on a local site in Omaha and went in to find the car I was looking for to replace my broken ride. Unfortunately, the car I went to look at was gone before I got there; however, their sales rep gave me good advice and opinions on cars in the lot and took me out in a few cars until I found one that fit. I left the same night with my new car after they took me to drop my friends car off at their work. More
I called initially in looking for a used Lincoln MKZ and got Kevin who helped me with that, while at the same time making me aware of the solid situation for the new Fusions, incl 0% dealer financing. Afte got Kevin who helped me with that, while at the same time making me aware of the solid situation for the new Fusions, incl 0% dealer financing. After much negotiation mostly needed by my indecision, I ended up purchasing a new Fusion. A couple items that really stick with me in addition to Kevin's quick phone responses and attention to me while in the dealership, were, I was heading to an event in Lincoln and time did not allow me to finish the buying transaction the day the deal was struck, & I ended up filling up the car, plus the car was already soiled and I was busy the day I actually came in to sign, so for my convenience Kevin allowed me a future detail, when I had more time and weather was warmer as well as gave me a future fill-up on gas for that same time, both of which could have been left out of the deal, but Kevin made sure it was not left out! Outstanding!! Also, Jeff in finance found I was a person who generally may not keep a vehicle for the entire finance period and suggested I consider taking the rebate vs the 0% rate. He figured it both ways for me and accepting the rebate not only lowered my net payments a small amount, but also lowered my sales tax liability. What a good way to send me off and for those reasons, as well as the overall experience, I am happy to give the big 'thumbs-up' for a reference for Performance Ford to my family, friends, and those of you who read this!
