I have been dealing with Baxter for over 10 years now and have not had any issues. I get my service done there as well and when i have had issues that were not normal, Mike Hare the service advisor that i wo have not had any issues. He has always treated me fair so i go back for all my service needs and also i buy all my Fords from Baxter. More
I had an oil change and tire rotation done by Baxter Frod Papillion on 5/31. In the ticket, they stated that the one of the bolts for the inspection plate had been stripped out, I'm assuming by their impact Papillion on 5/31. They kept my cover while waiting for the bolts. I called last week and left a message to find out the status of that repair. Nobody bothered to call me back. Today, 6/18, I finally had enough and went to the dealer to get my property back. After wading through the 10 employees standing around, I got my part back. I will now cross them off my list of dealerships that I will deal with, purchase a vehicle from, or ever recommend. By the way, I will now go find my own bolts and fix it myself. I now remember why I drove to St Louis to get my vehicle, which was to deal with a good Ford dealership (Sunset). More

I was told and shown on the invoice that the tires were rotated. They were not, or at least not correctly. There was excessive wear on the front tires, with complete wear on the inside of each front tire rotated. They were not, or at least not correctly. I had to take the F150 to a tire center a couple of weeks later because it did not seem to drive well. The evidence is overwhelming, and the opinion of the tire store is that the tires were not rotated. I have lost trust in the dealership. More
On 07/20/2023, I stopped at Baxter Ford, West Dodge, because I could not figure out how, while I was driving, to have the miles per hour show up on my screen. He was so patient, fixed the problem, and he explained if the problem ever came up again, how I could fix it myself. Also, I told him I could not figure out the USB Cable, and my phone, worked together. I explained my son said he would help me but that was 2 weeks ago. Alex told me I could bring in the USB Cable and he would help me, whenever I wanted. How wonderful was that! Oh my gosh, it is great knowing I can go to Baxter Ford whenever I want, and Alex, a person in the know, who is comfortable to talk to, will help me. Thanks Alex for your patience and kindness. And if my son does not follow thru you will be seeing me with my USB Cable! Baxter Ford has a wonderful employee in Alex! More
Travis Johnson and all the folks at Baxter Ford South provided an exceptional experience for me! I was having trouble with my Pre-Collision Assist system. I was really upset that this issue was occur provided an exceptional experience for me! I was having trouble with my Pre-Collision Assist system. I was really upset that this issue was occurring, and that it would be expensive to fix. We all know dealerships charge a premium, right? Well, I will say this, Travis was great and made me feel valued as a customer. He calmed me down, explained what had gone wrong, and the cost of the repair was very reasonable. A nice young lady Heather, I think it was, drove me home after I dropped my car off and picked me up the next day, she was very pleasant. Honestly, I have tried to cut corners in the past; always, I have regretted it. I will not let anyone, but these guys touch my car. I have leased two fusions from Baxter Ford South, and am buying the second one, I just couldn't give it back (but I’m still saving for that retirement Mustang, woohoo!) All my experiences with these folks have just been great. My thanks again to Travis and the crew at BFS. I would give you guys 6-Stars if I could! More
I had an appointment for 8:30am to get 4 tires mounted on my son's car. I delivered the car at 8:10am and was told it would be a couple of hours to get the work done. I told them I was going to be waiting fo my son's car. I delivered the car at 8:10am and was told it would be a couple of hours to get the work done. I told them I was going to be waiting for the car and they said they'd "put a rush on it". Good thing, because I only had to wait 2 1/2 hours for the work to be done. Why have appointments if they don't mean anything? While I was there, I told them about my 2021 F150 which was having issues with the lighting system. I had this same problem and talked to them in October of 2022 but the earliest "appointment" was mid-December of 2022. Whatever. They had the truck and did such a great job that I had to schedule another "appointment" to get it fixed... again. On March 31st, the earliest I could get the truck in is May 15th? If they're short on service staff maybe they should train some of the 30 people wandering around the sales area to help out. More
I had a great service experience regarding a defective part that needed to be replaced under warranty. Karla contacted me to schedule an appointment for the repair and Travis assisted me with vehicle serv part that needed to be replaced under warranty. When I spoke with Travis and advised him that I had another appointment, which I hoped to make later that day, he took steps to see that maintenance staff were advised. When I called for a service update, Karla answered the phone. She offered to put me on hold and check with maintenance regarding the repair status. When Karla returned, she informed me that the repairs had been completed and my vehicle was ready. During this process, Karla and Travis were both very helpful, as well as professional and knowledgeable. Karla and Travis, thanks for the great service! More
We broke down at the exit to Baxter Pavilion Ford in Omaha Nebraska. I called and Mike Hare in service offered to send a tow truck. But I called AAA which left us on the side of the road for two hours. So I called Mike back and within 20 minutes we were picked up and at the dealership. Mike met us outside took our report and got us in our way. Our journey was not an easy one fighting with the insurance. But with the guidance of Mike Hare made it so much easier. He called me regularly keeping me updated without me having to call in!!!! This is unheard of. NEVER have I had a dealer call me and check in with our truck. It was such a blessing for us to have Mike as our serviceman. Anyone reading this would be blessed to have him. Unfortunately the insurance didn’t come through for us so we financially could not have it fixed right now. The damage was to severe. But I would definitely have entrusted my truck with them as Mike as my service guy. Thank you Baxter Ford and Mike Hare and all you men for your support!!! Forever grateful.
