Long wait and claims service contract “expired” I called to book my appointment as the online service page wasn’t working. I come over from the island on the ferry and they were able to give me a 9: I called to book my appointment as the online service page wasn’t working. I come over from the island on the ferry and they were able to give me a 9:30 Saturday appointment which was great. I was told about an hour for wash and vac and oil change. I asked about my service contract as I had one free oil change left. I had been gifted this as an apology from Nissan of Bourne as they messed up on my financing and payoff for my trade in vehicle. I was gifted 3 free oil changes and tire rotations and was told I needed to use them before 20,000 miles. As I live on MV I do not travel a ton of miles a year. I booked my appointment and was told my contract “expired” I asked why I thought I still had one oil change left. I was told it had to be used within 2 years of having the vehicle and I had never been given that info before only that it had to be used before the mileage. I was not happy about having to pay as that was given to me as an apology for screwing up my financing. I never used any of the tire rotations either. I waited 1hr and 40 minutes for the car to be finished and it looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed at all. While I was waiting the gentleman at the front came out and told me I was around 15,000 miles and said it was a good time to have that maintenance done: alignment, filters and tire rotation. $250.00 I declined and said I’d call to book. I’m upset because my tire rotation should be free as well as the oil change I paid $35.00 for. I can’t believe an exception wasn’t made as this was gifted as an apology for the dealers mistake!! I just don’t feel that is good business and this is the second car I’ve purchased at this dealer and have gotten all of my service done here. Not too happy! More
