not your ordinary car dealership The Basil Toyota Dealership has been the best automobile dealership I have ever had dealt with. We began with one of their new sales person (Mr. Jim The Basil Toyota Dealership has been the best automobile dealership I have ever had dealt with. We began with one of their new sales person (Mr. Jim Porco) who went out of his way to make that first purchase and our subsequent 14 purchases as effortless and rewarding as possible. When Mr. Porco moved on to a new position with the Company he made sure that Jamie saw to our every need. In addition the service department has been outstanding - quick, thorough and helpful - Mr. Button has been my go-to man for all my service needs, where no question or problem is too small to take care of. More

RUDE. Not Veteran/Military Friendly. Went to Basil Toyota wanting to trade my 6-month old Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock that is MSRP’d at $44,900. The vehicle is obviously in perfect sh Went to Basil Toyota wanting to trade my 6-month old Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock that is MSRP’d at $44,900. The vehicle is obviously in perfect shape. I went with every intention to buy, the capability to buy, and title in my pocket. So, I was looking at a 4-Runner, with a $39700 MSRP. The manager JAMES came out and informed me that he would do an even swap, when I told him that was unacceptable, as one would normally do on the first numbers offered. He then started treating us like infants. Telling us that "CARS DON’T GROW ON TREES, THIS ISN’T A CHARITY, AND WE ARE HERE TO MAKE MONEY” I told him I knew we weren't in a church and were not looking for charity. He was rude and uninterested after that, and offered no further options. Well, I'm glad to see that they aren't a charity, and are there for profit (who isn't). I am in the service, deployed well over 20 times, so I am not an idiot. I just felt insulted that I would be treated like a child, and given an "I don't care" attitude. Especially from a Manager who says, “he has been in Customer Service for 13 years” I guess he has been doing this to potential buyers for 13 years. Don't go! All Veterans or currently serving, members of our armed forces, Basil Toyota does not care about you. BASIL TOYOTA is most definitely NOT a VETERAN FRIENDLY organization! I am sure this is their MO, so no matter who you are, unless you like to be talked down to, don't go. More

Really Amazing I don't often write reviews, but the guys at Basil Toyota really deserve some kudos. The premium experience begins when you drive into their pristine I don't often write reviews, but the guys at Basil Toyota really deserve some kudos. The premium experience begins when you drive into their pristine vehicle reception area -- a climate-controllled garage so clean you could eat off the floors. Next, one of their 4 or 5 service hosts comes out to greet you, get a little information and then leads you inside to set up your service appointment. From there you can wait in their fireplace lounge complete with free hot and cold beverages, big comfortable chairs and cable TV. You can check on things back home or at the office using their free Wi-Fi or the computer room. When your vehicle has been assessed, a technician will come out to find you and explain what your options are and exactly what things will cost, how much time it will take, ask if you want to continue to wait or would like a ride somewhere (they'll pick you up too!) -- and will give you options to fit your budget, although they are VERY reasonable with prices to begin with. When your vehicle is done, it will be waiting for you back in the reception area (usually a lot cleaner than when you drove it in) and you're on your way knowing they did an excellent job at a fair price. If anything is not to your liking, just call or drive back during their exceptional no-appointment-needed, late night and weekend hours. This is like no other auto service place I've ever visited. You owe it to yourself and to your vehicle (all makes and models, not just Toyota) to go there. They really are amazing! More
