After working out the details of the purchase of an Escape with the owner son Chuck, 12 hours before scheduled pick up time- I received a call stating the vehicle was sold by mistake! I was promised they would so call make it up for the mistake with extra’s if I selected a new model- I received a free oil change for the inconvenience which all buyers receive and a $300 dollar cargo option which was on the new model I selected. At the time of pick up the credit mgr. stated it was a common issue 2x- 3x a month..They sold the vehicle to another customer for more $$$..And then I find out from a neighbor- a co worker experienced the same issue..This is an everyday problem at this dealership! MOVE ON! More

Rotten experience. Old school sales tactics, VERY HIGH PRESSURE. Razzle dazzle, running back and forth to 'sales manager' and 'it's not up to me', high pressure to sign the deal NOW without even knowing PRESSURE. Salesperson talk down to me and start acting mad when you refuse to sign right now. Outright agression when I got up to leave. Very personal questions asked. Uncomfortable from the get go. I left very p***ed off after wasting my time for over an hour. Everything was hand written on scratch paper, with vague offers. Headache when I got home. They were worse than Jerry Lunderguard who was the salesman from the movie Fargo. Overall horrible experience and I would suggest going elsewhere. More

I will never do business with Basil or Ford for that matter again. After taking my van in for 3 recalls, they give me a rental "CAR" even after I advised them I needed a VAN to get my handicapped finace matter again. Now they are refuseing to reimbuse me money I am out due to having to use a friends van. VERY FRUSTAED & UPSET WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED!! More
