I came to this location shopping for new F150 Truck. Prior to that I have visited other brand dealers and no one could give me clear answer on what trim level I need based on set of features I wanted. P Prior to that I have visited other brand dealers and no one could give me clear answer on what trim level I need based on set of features I wanted. Patrick helped to sort out those questions. The process of ordering a truck was smooth and I was given a final price prior to ordering so there is no surprises during deliver. Wait for new truck was under 2 month which was quick compare to other brand trucks. More

I called Bartow Ford several times and was told since I didn't take the extended warranty out that I could pay to have them look at it . The fourth time it did this I was told I could bring it back in and they could tell me what was wrong with it but they couldn't fix it because it's a Toyota and they didn't have the tools to change a Toyota alternator. I will never purchase another vehicle from this company again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. More

I've been a customer for many years. Staff always friendly and professional. However, my last service I informed them I had a slow leak on a tire. They said it couldn't be fixed and they didn't have friendly and professional. However, my last service I informed them I had a slow leak on a tire. They said it couldn't be fixed and they didn't have a tire to fit my car. They called me next day that the tire was there. I live 15 miles away. So, another 30 miles to get it. Meanwhile my friend looked at it, he found a nail and repaired the puncture in my carport. He also found the lugs were not tightly secured when he removed them. They also told me I would need a new battery soon. This battery is only 4 years old that they sold me and installed. My car is a Nissan but I had loyalty to the service center and they've always taken care of my vehicle. Now I feel I've been schmoozed. I am a senior woman and usually trust whatever they tell me. Now I'm not so sure. Taking my business elsewhere will not hurt this dealer as they are well regarded but I feel I have no choice. I am very disappointed. More

Honest review time.. I inquired at bartow ford a 2017 chevy cruze diesel miles (66,534) the first person I was in contact with was a gentleman named Jaremeigh Anglin.. we messaged back in forth on email chevy cruze diesel miles (66,534) the first person I was in contact with was a gentleman named Jaremeigh Anglin.. we messaged back in forth on email they wouldn't go any lower on the price of the vehicle which was fine.. the price of the vehicle was 12,993 nada value was 12975... I told him I would need it financed for the purchase told him let's get the process rolling I did give him a limit on how many times they can pull my credit and he did abide by what I requested... However what I did not appreciate was I never got a phone call that afternoon about rather I was approved or not... I lived 8 hours away from the location and I was scared to drive down there on a limb for a maybe. Ultimately this made me think he was not hungry for the sale .. I called the dealership the phone was down no ringtone at all... So I decided to go down there on a limb on a maybe... I decided to drive down there anyway on 1/15/2021 I got a hotel 30 minutes from the dealership.... I called the dealership the following morning and spoke with Melissa Jones. She told me she was going check the information on the vehicle... She called back promptly and told me I wasn't approved... Which made me furious that no one made contact with me the prior day... However I decided to go look at the car anyway.. she had the car next to the dealership when I arrived it was dirty looking, like it wasn't washed... Melissa did apologize for the condition.. I checked the oil and it was black (could be because it was a diesel) I test drove the car I fell in love with it.. gave her permission to run my credit some more... I did ask about the service on the car because I lived 8 hours away... Melissa said she would get the used car manager to talk with me... I don't remember his name but he was nice he ensured me the oil, fuel filter, and diesel exhaust fluid was full... I got approved for the vehicle signed the papers and when I came outside the car was washed then I went on my way.... As I was heading home I started to notice some issues with vehicle.. As I was driving the radio shut off. I popped the fuse box open and someone wired an after market speaker system in the vehicle. There was wires running from the fuse box (and a toggle switch) to the rear of the vehicle and it was shorting out...This should have been removed when the inspection was performed.... I unplugged all of the crap and stuck a new fuse in it and kept driving (haven't had issues since).... I fill up for the first time on diesel and decided to put diesel exhaust fluid in it... The diesel exhaust fluid took 1.5 gallons of fluid (vehicle holds 2.98 gallons)... It was only half full.... Since then every tank full it only uses 1 quart which tells me it wasn't full when I bought it like the used car manager said it was... I decided to check the dash center for the oil life and fuel filter... The oil shows 34 percent life and the fuel filter shows 47 percent life (this was checked at 67,872)... Now I'm beginning to wonder if the service was ever done..... Or if someone forgot to reset the light... However the oil was black before I test drove it... I just don't think it should look that dirty after just being moved that short of distance (from the shop to the parking spot)... I had planned on going back the end of the year to look at buying a f250 but after the service I received I will take my business somewhere else... I hated that I had to drive over 8 hours for a maybe and ultimately nothing was ready when I got there.... Plus the service department manager saying they did stuff that they didn't end up doing (I understand this is not his fault it is the person who worked on it)... So I would suggest to NOT do business here ESPECIALLY if your buying ONLINE... And if you do decide to do business with Bartow Ford talk to Melissa Jones she won't waste your time and verify that everything they said they serviced is serviced. More
Bye Bye Ford Since Bartow Ford has relentlessly harassed me to write a review here goes. To be fair I MAY have a bias that an engine should last more than 77,00 mi Since Bartow Ford has relentlessly harassed me to write a review here goes. To be fair I MAY have a bias that an engine should last more than 77,00 miles. Secondly, I expected with a full warranty covered to 100,000 miles an engine failure would be quickly rectified; but perhaps I misunderstood the terms trust, integrity, and honesty. Here was my experience when my 2016 F-150 blew its 4th cylinder valve onto the piston at 77,000 miles. Upon receiving the vehicle, they verified that engine was blown (at 77,000 miles) and would need to be replaced. I figure they check the clean oil and say no problem we will take care of it under the warranty. Instead for 2 weeks I was harassed over oil change records and was granted no help or encouragement with finding them. Rick Butner stated, “It is what it is” and admitted his technician might have done further damage to it when trying to identify the problem. I then filed a case through Ford Motor Company themselves and Bartow Ford finally cooperated and sent in the warranty claim. Ford Motor Company would approve it just a day later. For 2 weeks I felt victimized by Bartow Ford, I felt as they were trying to get me to cave and say I will just cover it myself so they could collect a large insurance payment. Fortunately, when my Coyote 5.0L V8 engine blows at 77,000 miles I am inherently persistent in it being fix under warranty. At the end of my experience I now have a new engine only averaging 15.2mpg and no trust in Bartow Ford to go back to them to have it tuned correctly. To Ford I am sorry, because of my experience with your certified dealer I will, nor any of my family, will purchase a Ford vehicle in the future. In the words of Bartow Ford, “It is what it is”. More

Accessories service poor I paid for my order for a specific hitch length and size in cash with the model of the vechile to assure proper fitting. After returning the first hit I paid for my order for a specific hitch length and size in cash with the model of the vechile to assure proper fitting. After returning the first hitch and waited a week for the another which came back with the wrong length. The associate told me that it was a mistake with the order being misplaced. This lead to me asking to get a refund for the entire purchase, at this point they did not want to accommodate me with refunding me in the vary mode of purchase. They only gave the offer of refunding the purchase though a check in the mail, which has not came back to me within the two weeks since it was confirmed. As I confronted a manager with this I was given the comment “it is out of my hands” with the understanding that they would not be able to deal correct this issue. More
