Best experience I've had in buying a car I was deciding to buy a Mercedes or Audi but from the moment I walked into Porsche the salesperson was attentive, courteous, friendly and helpful. The I was deciding to buy a Mercedes or Audi but from the moment I walked into Porsche the salesperson was attentive, courteous, friendly and helpful. The salesperson gave me space and time to think. He wasn't trying hard to push for a sale which was refreshing but instead felt like more of a friend helping me with the best value I can get for what I'm willing to pay. This experience makes me want to buy more in the future. More
Courteous, responsive and efficient The overall sales experience was outstanding from the moment we entered the display hall until we took delivery of our new vehicle later that same day The overall sales experience was outstanding from the moment we entered the display hall until we took delivery of our new vehicle later that same day. Our salesman was friendly, engaging and extremely knowledgeable of his product line. This was our first purchase of our Porsche. Should point out we purchased a Macan and couldn't be happier with our choice. More
I went to Barrier to purchase a hard-to-find variant of the 911 and worked with Stephen Hackett, whom several friends had recommended. Stephen was helpful, patient, and committed to finding a deal that wor the 911 and worked with Stephen Hackett, whom several friends had recommended. Stephen was helpful, patient, and committed to finding a deal that worked well for me and for the dealership. He was highly available during the process answering all kinds of questions I had. He was transparent in the negotiation. I would have recommended Stephen based on that experience alone but since then he has continued to be invested in making Porsche a great experience for me. Whenever I swing by the dealership (for parts of service) he welcomes me. He once bought and sent me a hot wheels car that was the same model as the car I purchased, while he was on a vacation and noticed it in a store! I unreservedly recommend Stephen to anyone looking to purchase a Porsche. More
Went in for a brake pad change, they wanted to change pads, rotors, etc... eventhough the mechanic who inspected the brakes said the rotors were find and did not need a change. The service rep insisted pads, rotors, etc... eventhough the mechanic who inspected the brakes said the rotors were find and did not need a change. The service rep insisted that they might have to change them and won't know till the start the change process. If felt this was overbaord as this was the first pad change on the car since new. I bought the pads and did the change myself, the rotors were fine. The Rep's seem very dry and not very friendly at all, but they are the only dealer within 50 miles from my home :-( More
If you want to get ripped off buy your vehicle from Barrier Porsche. Customer service sucks. The sales people here are rude and arrogant and only focused on closing the deal. The sales people are unfri Barrier Porsche. Customer service sucks. The sales people here are rude and arrogant and only focused on closing the deal. The sales people are unfriendly and unhelpful, I wanted to find out about the options etc, that would meet my needs or if I would have to order one. The salesman couldn't have cared less and cut short the conversation. They are not concerned about your needs. I do not recommend this dealership. More
I brought my Cayenne in for a few simple cosmetics issues and what I got was a hassle and bad attitude. They had to order a part which apparently arrived at the shop but no one bothered to call to let me kno and what I got was a hassle and bad attitude. They had to order a part which apparently arrived at the shop but no one bothered to call to let me know about. Also, I drove in a new Porsche and had to practically beg for a loaner which turned out to be a Kia Spectra with absolutely no gas in it. What is that? I have owned BMWs, Mercedes and Lexus and I have never been given a crappy low-end loaner like that. When I mentioned the loaner I was immeidately hit with serious attitude and rudeness. Later that day the sales guy called me to talk to me about my husband buying a new car (I mentioned he's in the market) - but I will NEVER buy a car from them, even if it means traveling much further from home, I don' care. Their service and attitude is the worst I have ever encountered at a car delership - regardless of make, model or price point. They need serious work over there. Just awful. More
I knew what I wanted, and had the money to buy it. The only questions left for me where to configure some smaller interior options, so I needed to see some samples in cars, and how long it would take for only questions left for me where to configure some smaller interior options, so I needed to see some samples in cars, and how long it would take for the custom order to be placed, and delivered. I could wait. What I got was an unmotivated sales manager not interested in what I wanted to buy but only in selling what he had or had coming. They fed me some line about "that configuration isn't being built this year".... its a very base configuration, and indeed, a dealer within 300 miles did have an allocation to order one. So either they are lying or stupid.. neither inspires much confidence in me. I can only assume there are so many rich and stupid people in the Seattle area willing to take the dealer's stock that they make enough sales there that they can blow off customers with interests that don't match their stock. I would not recommend buying from them. More
Disappointing experience from the moment I first walked into the show room floor. It was my first time in a Porsche showroom and I was in awe. Not only was the salesman unfriendly and unhelpful, but arro into the show room floor. It was my first time in a Porsche showroom and I was in awe. Not only was the salesman unfriendly and unhelpful, but arrogant and rude. I wanted to spend some time talking about options etc. and then see if there was a car on the lot that would meet my needs or if I would have to order one. The salesman couldn't have cared less. When I asked for an explanation about the different models, he responded sarcastically" "It all depends how fast you want to drive". Although I ultimately ended up buying a car from the same dealership - but with another salesman - the experience has been profoundly disappointing. My clutch failed after 14K - and the dealership were unhelfpul, citing "not covered by warranty". I had hoped that buying from a local dealership I would receive quality customer service. Big mistake. I guess I'm just naive. They only care about the current sale and are not interested in developing long term customers. Next time I'll source my new car through an auto consultant. Shame on you Barrier Porsche! More
