After weeks of research and emails to several dealerships, which included guaranteed offers, and a few visits to Suffolk County dealers, I got an email back from Jen Sugg at Baron Honda. She said they had one and would match my best offer. Cut to the chase: after about only 1 hour at the dealership over 3 different visits, salesman extraordinaire Bobby Brodeur came in on his day off (and in the midst of personal issues) to close the trade-in (with the best offer I received anywhere) and deliver the Pilot the day I needed it (to surprise the wife the day before a road trip). As I left, I was expecting someone to chase me yelling "Sorry! we need more info/money/time!", but that never happened, and it was only after I was home that I realized "IT WAS REALLY THAT EASY". No pressure to buy, no pressure on the trade and absolutely no pressure to use dealer financing. If/when I decide to buy that Black Edition Ridgeline I've been eyeing, I won't even bother looking anywhere else. More

We went to Baron Honda on Me I was not asked to write this review, I was not paid for this review, I am the actual customer and here is my story... We went to Baron Honda on Medford Avenue in Patchogue, NY and was approached by Bobby Brodeur. He greeted me and my wife with the utmost respect. Introduced himself and asked us how he could help us. We told him what type of car we were looking for and he told us to sit tight. He went outside and drove the car right up to the front door and had us get into the car! A funny thing happened next, He showed us all of the ins and outs of the car, than told us to take our time and test drive the car and he told us when we came back that he would answer any questions that we had about the car! Me and my wife looked at each other like "What??" No salesman annoying you in the test drive?? Not only did he tell us to take our time test driving the car, but he was so nice and NON-PUSHY that I was a little awestruck! We took our time on the test drive and came back and he answered every one of our questions! Then another funny thing happened, I told him I already had a loan approved thru TFCU and can you just give us the best price possible. Not only did he beat the lowest price I was quoted by $1500.00 but not once did he pressure us or make us feel like we were REALLY IN A CAR DEALERSHIP!!! It was like we knew Bobby Brodeur for the last 20 years and it was just a get together of old friends!! HE EVEN TOLD US TO WAIT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY TO BUY THE CAR BECAUSE TFCU WAS CLOSING IN AN HOUR AND THERE WAS NO RUSH!!! Not your typical Car Salesman and definitely not your typical Car Dealership!! We just picked up the car today, he had everything prepped and ready including all of the paperwork!! We arrived at the dealership at 3:30pm and we were done by 3:50pm!!! (That's Insane!!!) Not one instance did he try to finagle, or did the dealership try to finagle any aspect of the entire car purchasing experience!!! He even took care of returning our old 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport which was leased and had to be turned in back to Hyundai for us because I just had back surgery!!! I will be a Baron Honda customer for LIFE and I have never in the last 25 years of buying cars had such a positive, honest, knowledgeable, friendly and unbelievable experience than I did with Bobby and Baron Honda.
