When he notified us that he had moved to Houma and was working at Barker Mazda, we made the choice to continue to seek out his assistance and guidance. When we told Kris that we were looking for a used truck, Kris diligently looked for a vehicle to meet our needs, and ultimately found us a used 2010 Ford F150 with low mileage! We have no problems with driving to Houma to purchase a vehicle from Kris Morales! If he can go the extra mile for us, we can do no less! More

After greeting us and Troy was informed the car was for me not my husband he addressed all of "my" concerns. (That had not happened at a few other dealerships during my search, so I exited stage left and told the salesman as I was leaving that I was the one who was paying for the car not my husband). Troy was a complete gentleman and explained all of the new and scary technology without making me feel dumb as a brick. I chose the MKC in Saints Gold and absolutely loved my little car. Well the cute wore off and after about 7 months; I finally gave in and realized i "REALLY" needed a bigger car. After being treated as special as I was on my first purchase, I couldn't see myself going anywhere but back to where I felt safe knowing Troy had my back. I need to also mention that during my time with my MKC Troy answered the phone EVERYTIME I got nervous about the dash computer or couldn't figure out something about my car. So when I called Troy and told him as much as I loved my car I needed to upgrade he invited us back to Barker Mazda and he went through every model so I would be completely satisfied with my next purchase. Buddy worked with dealers from Texas to Florida and we were convinced that we would be taking a long road trip to purchase my car. We love keeping the business in Louisiana and close to home. Kris - parking is still an issue but I am getting exercise. Jay Tucker was the finishing touch on how this particular dealership deals with people. He made it less tense to write a check without feeling pain. I firmly believe that this dealership has made wise choices in hiring its leaders. Troy never once made us feel like the idiots we must have appeared as when we had to keep calling for directions and staying on the phone with us until we arrived in the front of the business. My Friends and Family have also purchased vehicles from James Relan and Tommy Monterio. The most recent purchase we made was on this past Saturday 09/28/2015. The visit was also a pleasure ,although Tommy Monterio was unavailable to be my Salesman , he advised Salesman Troy Kyle of the long buying history my Wife and I had. His product knowledge, honesty, and straightforward demeanor was invaluable in helping him select his first car. A Mazda was not even on my son's radar until by chance we stopped by Barker Mazda and Troy blew the both of us away with his insight on the safety, features, value, and 'coolness' of the Mazda 6. He was able to answer every question I could imagine, and provided all the info we needed to conclude that it was the perfect car for my son. He loves his new car, and I loved the wonderful experience he had as a first time car buyer. Troy put him at ease, and treated him with the utmost respect. Working with the 'finance man', James Relan, was a real trip! He's like talking with a long lost friend. Full of stories!! Very thankful to both of them for convincing us to forgo paying the car off up front, in order to take advantage of Mazda's promotion which saved my son $1500!!
