I really don't know where to began. I called Mr. Pendergrass and explained what I needed. He was in a training class. He took the time, listened to my needs and took wonderful care of me. When he returned to work, he took my application and a couple of hours later told me to come get my car. When I got there he introduced me to Jonathan and Ricardo. They took care of me as if I were a family member. I know Mr. Pendergrass is the GM, but he took the time to help me. This is a man that truly loves his job. I have nothing but respect and a deep appreciation for all of the staff of Sheehy Ford of Marlow Heights. I got in and out of there in less than a couple of hours. After a terrible experience at Ourisman Ford where they quoted me one price and when I went to the dealership increased it by $4K, I had the most refreshing experience at Sheehy thanks to Sean Mason. He quoted me a walk out price (included tax, tag, title, and fee) which did not change upon my arrival. He took the time to show me every button, bobble, and gadget in my new super-cute Ford Fiesta (Ford has come a long way since the 80s). I made it clear what my priorities were and he did not attempt to oversell me--he did make my options clear, but did not push when I said no. That might not be a sales-manager's dream--but it was mine. I negotiate for a living, so I understand the need to 'convince,' but he was not pushy. I left with a better warranty than I had planned on, but feel like I got my money's worth. When he introduced me to Ricardo the finance-wizard, Ricardo had the same salesmanship style as Sean--he provided me with options while keeping my priorities in mind. I posted (to several social media sites) my awful experience at the OTHER dealership--and have followed up with an update about my great experience at Sheehy (including names). When the time comes to purchase again, I know I'll come back to Sheehy! More
