Subaru says to change transmission oil if the vehicle is used for towing. Steve Lewis Subaru would not change the transmission oil stating updated guidance from Subaru. 13000 miles after the warranty expir used for towing. Steve Lewis Subaru would not change the transmission oil stating updated guidance from Subaru. 13000 miles after the warranty expired the transmission needs replacing. This car is on its second engine and the new one burns more oil than the one it replaced. I did not get good advise from Steve Lewis Subaru concerning the transmission. I'm not sure if Steve Lewis Subaru installed the new engine correctly or not but its worse than the original. And it took six weeks to get done. Subaru has failed our family. They failed to provide us with the long lasting dependable car they advertised to us. I will never buy another Subaru again and I discourage everyone who is thinking about buying one. Subaru built a xxx car and my family is paying a very expensive price. Two bad engines + one bad transmission = unplanned hardship an a family that cant afford it. Thanks Subaru!! More
