I visited Balise Subaru in Warwick as a return customer to turn my lease in for a Crosstrek and get a price on a new lease. I was told by Connor (knowing my turn in was early and after already inspecting m to turn my lease in for a Crosstrek and get a price on a new lease. I was told by Connor (knowing my turn in was early and after already inspecting my car) he could match what I’m paying now provided I lease their Impreza because it’s a less expensive than another car I expressed interest in. So, I decided to return the next day to seal the deal then was told by Ryan I’d have to pay $53 more a month with 1k down. I left unhappy as I received two very different quotes. When I followed up with Ryan via email and asked why the huge discrepancies, he completely stopped interacting with me. This dealership is extremely dishonest and do not respect their customers. BEWARE! In the end, I bought a brand new Toyota at a different dealership. Dishonesty and avoiding customers will not get you far. I will be sure to never step foot at Balise Subaru dealership again and I am telling my friends and family to avoid Balise Subaru in Warwick, RI. I recently purchased a 2013 Outback and found that the viscous coupler needed replacing, after researching I learnt this repair was quite specific to subarus so I decided to go to the dealership for my fi viscous coupler needed replacing, after researching I learnt this repair was quite specific to subarus so I decided to go to the dealership for my first time. On the drive to my appointment several lights came on the dash diagnosing a couple parts involved with the emissions system. First problem is I don't personally live close to the Balise dealership which is not their problem but going to a dealership I was half expecting at the least a ride back to my work for the day or even better a loaner car (which I have gotten from independant shops previously). Second, the viscous coupler replacement didn't arrive from the warehouse when they said it would. Again, not entirely on the dealership but still frustrating as I have a job I need to get to and am out a car. A couple days later than promised it would be done I pick my car up, lights arent on and all problems supposedly fixed. Great. A few days later all the lights come back on and I'm driving home but not necessarily close to home, stop at a auto parts store to it them to run a diagnostic and it comes up with these same two parts involving the emissions system. Scan was free and only took a few minutes. Next day I call the dealership and arrange another appointment for the following week, they assured me that it wouldnt harm the vehicle if I continued to drive, I also stressed to them how inconvenient this was starting to be. Drop my car off at the predetermined time, this time I get a loaner car. Promised again that this would be resolved quickly. 5 business days later with me calling them for daily updates they finally had a diagnostic, same as what I got at the auto parts store in minutes. I got my car two days later and still had to pay the full bill of parts and labor. I get it, parts weren't purchased the first visit for this issue but I was at least expecting them to not bill for the labor on a returning issue. Overall I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service I got and can promise that I will never be going to another dealership in the future unless of course it's for a new car which is highly unlikely. Both because I don't feel as though they were truthful and transparent with getting to me quickly but then unloyal to a customer that was returning with a issue that they didn't fix the first time.
