While they kept having different "managers' come over and try to talk about so many things to confuse me. They got pissed off because I refused to cooperate. Negotiated a deal the car needed some things done, had to fight about it. Car was never detailed properly had scratches they said they'd have buffed out. Ian the sales guy pretends like he's some victim and sits back and lets all this happen. Asked for an appointment 2 weeks out to have services I negotiated done, George literally yells at me and says the deal needs to be wrapped up before the end of September refuses to put in writing what needs to be done to the car. I said ok not buying the car I dont trust anyone's "word" and definitely not a car dealership. George relents gives a "We Owe" with the list of things that needs to be done. Ian repeatedly drops the ball does not follow up to get it scheduled. Ian tries to weezle out of doing the services asking to be sent a copy of the "We owe" and making me provide proof they were supposed to do anything. Finally over 3 weeks later an appointment is made, services performed, car STILL not detailed. Car is still scratched nothing was done about that despite the fact its on the "we owe" that the car would be detailed and the scratches buffed out. Do NOT go here, this is the worst car buying experience I've had in decades. Sadly it exactly mimics the horrific experience I had at their Hyundai Store in 2011. The ONLY Balise dealership I've had a decent experience with is their Mazda store. I will never ever go to Balise Kia again and will not recommend them to anyone. Go elsewhere if you value your money and your sanity. Their negligence is inexcusable, they are grown adults and blame everyone but themselves. More

Worst service experience ever. They held my car for 9 days and the receipts list 3 hrs of service. My airbag control module needed replacement, airbag light remained on. They fix They held my car for 9 days and the receipts list 3 hrs of service. My airbag control module needed replacement, airbag light remained on. They fixed that and the first page of my receipt now says "no lights returned". So why did I get a call from the service manager telling me they needed to do an electrical diagnostic cause the lights were still on after changing the ACM? Kia Customer Service had agreed to cover the ACM part which would have cost me over $800. So this guy proceeds to tell me something else is wrong cause the lights are still on, they need to search for the problem could cost me $300. He makes a big deal about the fact that we have after market heated seats that could be the problem?? I tell him to just disconnect them cause we dont use them. And I can't drive the car with the airbag lights on. I get a call a day later maybe longer & now they tell me it will cost over $700 to replace the occupant detection system module under the passenger seat because it shorted out from my aftermarket heated seats. According to the receipt it shorted out on the frame of the car when they pulled the wires. I'm left with no car still and it takes them 4 more days to change that module, which I think they shorted out when they went searching for something wrong with the heated seats that never caused a problem before. Balise Kia wouldn't answer calls and held off telling me my car was ready according to the dates on the receipt. The total bill I paid was about equal to the cost of the original replacement cost for the airbag control module that Kia corporation agreed to cover for free since I have numerous Kia cars and never had a complaint before. Balise Kia is untrustworthy because they got caught lying? There were no lights still on after the ACM was changed, thats reflected in the receipt, I should have gotten my car back without them searching for electrical problems that didn't exist until they shorted a part out and I had to pay for that in order to get my car back. Horrible! And they don't answer the phones yet the service dept is always quite empty when we used to go there. Now I know why. No one should go here to get their car serviced, Gary Rome Kia is only 15 mins away in Enfield Ct. Note: Corporate Kia Customer Service was who helped me get the car ACM changed for free because so many other Kia Niros have issues with their airbag control module. They listened to my complaints, opened a case about this service nightmare and recommended to get away from this Balise Kia service dept. WOW! Seems like they might be used to getting similar complaints. There are numerous other horrified customer reviews, makes you wonder who is writing some of those good reviews??? More
After spending hours working on a deal for my sister, her credit being pulled, her having an excellent credit, great income work history, we came up with a final quote. We were then asked to put a deposit down to secure it. Since they had to close they told us to come back on Monday to close the deal. When my sister went in to sign final paper work and pick up the new car at last minute they backed out on the proposed deal as they claimed the financing leasing could not honor it. The dealer then requested an additional $1K down payment in all $3k down claiming my sister income to debt ratio was not acceptable to finance and with that they would then lower her monthly payment by $45 dollars. I had specifically asked the sales guy there Cohn to please ensure to take care of my sister. He said he would but as soon as I called him out on this dirty old trick dealers do he said he was insulted. At this point my sister was distraught. These people created a joyful moment into a very traumatic situation as my sister was there alone and I was on the phone. The finance person there abruptly got on the phone but we could not salvage the deal as it was unless we had my mother as cosigner. Cohn you are there to service the customers well and honor the word and quotes that people pay a down payment for. If we would have backed out of the deal guess what we would have lost our deposit. How convenient for you all. When the deal then has to be switched to benefit the dealer and finance, then who cares for the customer. I have to say that at least they refunded my sister the following day, but this experience was not a good one and I had no choice but to documented here. We then contacted Kia who were able to accommodate us with an extension on my sister's current lease. Something that was asked of the enfield kia and the sales guy there had said was not possible. Having dealt with Rickcase Kia in Florida for years I had never encountered such a thing. Customers are accommodated when numbers are agreed upon and mistakes or bad communications happens. Sometimes concessions are made in order to ensure they have a happy customer who can then turn around a recommend them. If they knew they didn't have a final payment from finance then don't take a deposit, have the customer come in when you can give them assurance from finance on the final price and don't waste peoples times and money. Have some decency Watch out from this dealer, they don't honor their word even if you put a deposit down and agree on principles. Their word is worthless More

In a short summary, I purchased my car in august 2020 during a mait special (oil changes) they had for 3 years 60k miles. Went fine for first few times, had to remind them but they still eventually under during a mait special (oil changes) they had for 3 years 60k miles. Went fine for first few times, had to remind them but they still eventually understood and did not charge me, however I went for my last free oil change and I even mentioned BEFORE the oil change this was my last free one, they said nothing. Then when done, give me a $90 bill for changing my oil and they had zero record to show me anything different, service manager doesn’t care to even look up the ppwk and will tell you to pound sand, he told me “I better figure it out” service managers have zero concern about promises. Do not purchase a car there or make sure you keep every document with promises and get anything in writing and save. No accountability or care that they could have told me that prior to the oil change. This isn’t the first bad encounter with them either. Learned a lesson and just trying to warn others. More

I spoke with James I was assured the car would not be sold out from underneath me that I would be hearing from someone the next morning with a video of the vehicle, the next day I receive no call no vide sold out from underneath me that I would be hearing from someone the next morning with a video of the vehicle, the next day I receive no call no video in the car was sold I would’ve put money down on it like I asked and I was told by James the finance manager not to worry that they would not sell the car out from underneath me when in fact that’s exactly what happened and I never received a phone call to follow up at all it was just bad business More
