Misrepresentation of problem with vehicle Bought used car for wife. Within a few weeks I drove the car and noticed a terrible droning noise from muffle system. She brought the car in to service the obnoxious problem within the 30 day purchase and she was told that all dual exhaust car do that. It's only an impala so it's basically a quiet car. And if it's supposed to be a little throaty, fine but this wasn't the case. I have owned Gto's to Corvettes I know the difference but she didn't. Instead of dealing with the BS I told her we will NEVER buy anything from them again. More

Great service. I returned for a oil change and the whole place was done over. It is so comfortable they did a really great job. It was no problem to buy this vehicle, never have I ever bought a used car that I've had to bring to the shop so many times in a year and a half. When I am told that my warranty is bumper to bumper for 3yrs or 60,000 I expect just that cuz I have reached neither!! not that they want to charge me $250 to fix the button/cable to be able to open my gas tank!..this to me was unacceptable,I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! Any dealer is good at selling you a new or used car. When it comes to service Balise Hyundai totally fails. I went to their service department 2 times to discuss an issue with the seat fabric on my driver seat. On the second visit I was able to get the car looked at by the service manager. He made me wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes plus. What I went in the back and asked what he observed of my seat he gave me a major attitude. He told me that the Hyundai rep would have to look at my seat in person. It only took him 2 or 3 minutes to look at my seat and I had to wait 45 minutes to hear this? I asked when the rep was going to be coming to his dealership. He told me he didn't know that he would call me. This was a month and a half ago. They have never called me to tell me anything. He doesn't know this but in the meantime I went to Gary Rome Hyundai. Their service director Steven was very attentive to my needs. He took digital photographs and emailed them to the rep. I had the answer in about a week. The repair was going to be covered by warranty and they scheduled the repair within 3 weeks. While my car was in the shop they gave me the best loaner car I've ever had. The seat was fixed in less than 1 day and I had a completely positive experience with Gary Rome. The 1 good thing that came out of this is it allowed me to experience better service elsewhere I will never return to this dealer. Balise has lost me as a customer. More
I've been incredibly impressed with the service department. When I've taken my car in, they keep me in the loop and help me make informed decisions. On my last visit, the service advisor went so far as to tell me what were priorities and what could wait. Most places would have tried to talk me into getting every minor issue fixed immediately, no matter the cost. They don't talk down to me just because I am a woman, and are more than happy to answer any questions. On one occasion, I had an issue with a service advisor. Danny, the manager, quickly jumped in and took care of the issue. Since then, I have never had another problem. My car is 10 years old and running great, thanks to their help! I also appreciate that they remember who I am and are aware of the history of my car. They never treat their customers like strangers. More
