Beyond that, it is obvious that he values gaining a lifelong customer. Other dealers I have dealt with in the past have not demonstrated this shared interest. Richard was personable and genuine, taking the time to get to know us and our needs. It is entirely unlike me and my wife to sign papers and put a deposit down on the first visit, but I had done my research and found that the deal Richard prepared for us was one not to pass up. Kyle, the business manager who helped us with financing, was also thorough and helpful as Richard said he would be. Thanks, Richard and Kyle, for an enjoyable car-buying experience. More
I had been using Majestic Honda South to service my 13 year old Honda Accord for a couple years. I recently took it in to get service done and decided it was time to trade it in. I contacted Kyle and he promptly got back to me and found out what I was looking for. Rachel was referred by my service advisor and worked with Kyle to put together quotes on my trade in and the vehicle I was looking to purchase. They worked with management to get me a great price and a fair trade value. Because I was without a car Kyle went the extra step and set up my delivery earlier than we had scheduled. It was a huge help to me personally and I am very pleased that he accommodated my needs. Joe helped with the delivery of the new vehicle and even assisted in clearing all of my personal belongings out of my trade. Rachel followed up twice to make sure everything went well and to make sure that I understood all the features of my new Civic. Our experience at Majestic was terrific. From start to finish and even when we returned after the sale was completed everyone was extremely courteous, friendly, helpful and cooperative. We were given the opportunity to test drive several cars at each of 2 visits to help us make the decision that resulted in the vehicle best for us. Our salesman David Fontaine had detailed knowledge about the features of each model and we got the feeling that the dealership was not trying to sell us on the most expensive. They were very candid about features we could do without. They also put in extra time to get us the color of car and upholstery we wanted although there was another on the lot and many of another available in the local area. Financing arrangements were quickly and competently handled by Terra, so that we could make it on time to another appointment. The entire transaction was handled professionally by all involved and we unreservedly recommend this dealership for sales and service due to our long experience with many long-lasting Hondas over the years. I was looking for a used Honda Element with low mileage, and was on my way to look at one at a dealership in Boston. But before leaving RI, I stopped in to see Mike Girard at Majestic. I've worked with Mike and was on my way to look at one at a dealership in Boston. But before leaving RI, I stopped in to see Mike Girard at Majestic. I've worked with Mike and Michelle on past Honda purchases, and I needed some advice on a complicated transaction involving the soon-to-be-owner in Spain, an ultimate registration in Arizona, a short time-frame to complete the transaction, and my apprehension dealing with the RI and Mass DMV's. By chance, Mike had a 2011 Element on the lot, and it was pefect, except for color. Mike laid out in detail how the transaction could be done in RI, with help from the staff at Majestic. Although I continued on to Boston to check out the other car, Mike had noted my interest, and when I returned later in the day to make a deposit, we were able to complete the deal with very little effort on my part. There were some problems that occured later on with registration, taxes and title, but they were solved by Mike, Rich Brown, and the Majestic staff. I was very impressed, and thankful, that all the folks at Majestic were able to make this happen. They performed far above my expectations. The transaction was completed on time, and the new owner is happily driving his Element around the red hills of AZ. More

I am confident in recommending this dealership for anyone who is looking to buy a new or used Honda. I was shopping for a Honda Fit. Joe set up the test drive to accommodate my preferences for evaluating the vehicle ( highway and side roads). He explained the unique points of the vehicle and demonstrated all the features. It was great to work with such a professional, knowledgeable and upbeat sales person. He pushed for a great deal, so I felt very confident and comfortable with my purchase. I needed to close on this new vehicle rather quickly and he graciously accommodated my timetable- no small courtesy. From test -drive through the process of financing, Joe worked diligently to ensure that I would be satisfied with the purchase of this new vehicle. So- give Honda Majestic a visit and ask for Joe when you are looking to lease or purchase you next vehicle. Thanks, too, are due to Kyle who researched the best financing options for my purchase! I had purchased my Honda Accord at Majestic Honda several years ago, so I recommended the Honda product to my wife. When we visited Majestic Honda and went into the sales showroom, we were first greeted by years ago, so I recommended the Honda product to my wife. When we visited Majestic Honda and went into the sales showroom, we were first greeted by David Fontaine and we were immmediately struck with his demeanor (friendly but professional, no pressure, pleasant, easy to speak with and other positive words that are not usually associated with a car sales person). We were able to ask him several questions; told him our focus (test driving, our interest in the Honda Fit, CR-V and Civic; he listened attentively. David stated that there were no 2012 Fits or CR-V's currently available but they did have 2012 Civics and there were some great incentives for that model year but they also had the others for 2013 - still no 'let me put you in a car today' sales pitch - so far so good! Since we were interested in test driving any car first, David stayed with that instead of getting to a sales person's job of selling. We were immediately comfortable that this was not going to be like our last recent visit to a Toyota dealer in Warwick, who kept trying to get us into a car 'today', when we had repeatedly stated we were in the looking and test driving stage only. That experience made us not want to go there to the Toyota dealer (or any dealer) ever again (and we have Toyotas in our family - it's a good product as well). Anyway, went for a test drive in the 2012 Civic (and this was the fourth test drive we'd been on over the last couple weeks in other cars at other dealers). My wife drove; David was knowledgeable, personable and attentive to my wife's and my questions. We got back to Majestic Honda and I knew this was the car for my wife and the one she wanted. Dave's manager, Mike Girard (also a great guy to work with - he sold me my last Honda), came to David's desk; we talked finances and made a great deal. David Fontaine remained the point person and was patient and professional - still no sales pitch to buy this or that additional extra - it was always our call to make and decide what we wanted. David also told us they would handle the registration and also spoke to our car insurance company to arrange the coverage without interruption - something else that was a tremendous help for us. We also spoke to Kyle for other financing - long term protection, etc. Kyle explanined some extras that would also cost more montly but we declined and that was that - no strong-arm sales pitch. My wife drove her 2012 Civic home that day and this all took less than an hour and a half or so - of course we knew what we were interested in and what we wanted to spend (and ultimately the car dealer we were mainly interested in - Majestic Honda). Dave Fontaine really put the icing on the cake for in his professionalism, customer-centric focus and attention to my wife's car needs. More
Upon looking for a new car, my brother and his wife recommended Majestic and also recommended Doug Haring. Unfortunately Doug was out on sick leave and Dave Fontaine took care of me. The overall expe recommended Majestic and also recommended Doug Haring. Unfortunately Doug was out on sick leave and Dave Fontaine took care of me. The overall experience went smoothly with Dave and Terra. Originally, Kyle was the one looking into the financial end of things and I did not appreciate his customer service one bit; I was completely turned off. If it wasn't for Dave introducing me to Terra, I'm not sure if I would have purchased a vehicle from Majestic. I am thrilled I went thru with the purchase; I love my car! More
