Daniel is a very friendly sales person. He really know his cars and explained everything in detail. He went out of his way to help us understand all the questions we had. I can definitely recommend this dealer. Helped my son I can definitely recommend this dealer. Helped my son track down and purchase a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Ltd. He wanted Black with Beige interior with I can definitely recommend this dealer. Helped my son track down and purchase a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Ltd. He wanted Black with Beige interior without navigation and after long searching, found that Bakersfield Hyundai had one. In fact, it was probably the only exact one available in Southern California at the time. Decided to pursue even though it was over a 100 mile drive for me and even further for my son. Contacted Bakersfield Hyundai and began discussions and eventually negotiations with salesperson Roxie over the phone. Explained situation with distances involved and needing a negotiated price and holding the car for at least a short period so that we didn't travel so far for nothing. Back and forth negotiations over a couple of days that I would characterize as fairly hard but professional. Eventually sales manager Angel also became involved. We ultimately came to an agreed price and they were willing to hold the car (after I placed a deposit by credit card) long enough for my son and I to get to the dealership. Once there, the car was exactly as they had advertized and was already being prepped. The dealership played no games and sold the car for the agreed price. Actual sale took a bit longer than expected due to minor complications with some Hyundai factory rebates and then some financing decisions: but none of this through any fault of the dealer. In fact, they ended up staying well past their closing time to finish the deal. I believe my son got a good deal considering the car was in short supply at the time and Bakersfield Hyundai was straightforward and professional throughout (unlike a different Hyundai dealer we had dealt with the previous weekend). Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Bakersfield Hyundai to others. More

I can not agree more with Georgia. I spoke on the phone with a salesman to see if they had the exact car I wanted, which was a 2011 Elantra. They stated they just got 5 of them off of the truck and I asked with a salesman to see if they had the exact car I wanted, which was a 2011 Elantra. They stated they just got 5 of them off of the truck and I asked the MSRP and I was quoted $17,945. I asked before I made the 100+ mile drive if they would meet me at my price that I was quoted by nearby dealers, which was $17,500, they stated this was no big deal and they wouldn't loose a deal over $400. So I loaded up the car with my family so they could drive the car back the 100 miles to home and cruised up there. Once I got there I test drove the vehicle, looked at the sticker and saw it matched the $17,945 MSRP I was quoted. I went in to the office, input all of my information ect in preparation for the purchase. I waited and waited and finally I was called back in and to my surprise they informed me that the window stickers on all 5 Elantras they received today had incorrect window stickers and in fact the MSRP is $18,645. I stated that to be in good faith they need to hold up their deal of $17,500 and go after Hyundai for the difference. They said that they in no way could go that low because dealer cost was $18,132. I agreed that we could meet in the middle at $18,000. I was again informed that the BEST they could do was $18,400. At this point I was infuriated and I walked out on the deal. To compound the problem the sales manager Jesse came out and informed my family of what had happened and basically laughed in our faces stating that he doesn't care if we walk out on the deal because he can sell the car at MSRP before the end of the day. This place is a horrible business place and as we speak I am writing my letter to the Better Business Bureau, Hyundai motor corp. and my lawyer for false advertising practices and not honoring a contract or agreement. I can't believe this place is still open after events like this. More
