terrible Where to begin with this dealer.. We bought a 2015 USED Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and it was nothing but problems from day 1. We brought it back day Where to begin with this dealer.. We bought a 2015 USED Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and it was nothing but problems from day 1. We brought it back day 3 and 4 in hopes they would take it back or fix the issue. They proceeded to tell us there was no issues and it was a certified used vehicle. xxxxxxxxx. I had two different auto shops tell me there is no way this can be certified in the condition that it is in. We couldn’t even get the tires aligned properly. After taking our car to a shop and quoted 2300 dollars to fix it we took it back to the dealer for a third time. The dealer then had us take it to another mechanic (4wheel parts) and was quoted about 3000 dollars to fix the same issues. They said they were going to look into a solution and get back to us. We then got a call from Miguel who said he talked to the general manager JR- and that they would unwind our deal and get us into a different car. We agreed; brought it back to the dealer for a 4th time. The sales people that were here this 4th time (mark and Brad) apparently knew NOTHING about what Miguel and JR Told us about unwinding our deal and gave us the option to trade in the and get something else. Trading in the car would mean losing money on a car we had for 3 weeks... That wouldn't drive straight down the road if it wanted to. Thank god there was never an accident because it couldn’t stay in its own lane. Mark gave us so much attitude when “doing what he was told” aka telling us we have to trade it in and he needs to go appraise it… UH no you’re not. After a lot of back and forth mark and the manager talked to Miguel and JR and all of a sudden they were going to do the unwind. Imagine that? Thank god Miguel answered his phone when he was already OFF WORK to help us. It all worked out in the end and we left with a new, working jeep but the run around process was insane. I will never buy another car from this dealer. I won’t even take it back to have service done over there. If they can certify a jeep that has that many issues- they definitely aren’t touching my brand new one. I can't thank MIGUEL enough for helping us through this process and sticking to his word! There's a reason this dealer has very low stars. Don't ever go there. More
Service Center is an Oxymoron "SERVICE CENTER"" IS AN OXYMORON: We have made several appointments at the service center for routine maintenance - arrived at 0800 am per agreed app "SERVICE CENTER"" IS AN OXYMORON: We have made several appointments at the service center for routine maintenance - arrived at 0800 am per agreed appointment time. Two days later, they haven't even called to inform of the status of the vehicle. We tried calling in to find out the status of the vehicle, and were only able to leave messages. Phone calls were never returned. We had to rent a vehicle for several days while waiting for a response from the service center. Other than Warranty work, I would recommend avoiding the Bakersfield Service Center at all costs. The above scenario has been the same every time I took a vehicle to the service center. On another occasion, I had just purchased a brand new jeep which had one locking lug nut on each tire, but the lug nut key was not supplied. I asked the service center to either provide the lug nut key or replace the locking lug nut with a regular nut (I am pretty reasonable - either remedy was OK - and again this was a brand new vehicle). The service center opted to replace the locking lug nut and tried to bill me over $100. Unbelievable! More

Call the dealership, agree on the price over the phone(if vehicle turns out good) than drove 50 minute to the dealership. 1st thing I notice on the tr Call the dealership, agree on the price over the phone(if vehicle turns out good) than drove 50 minute to the dealership. 1st thing I notice on the truck was that the paint on the fender(look like the paint job was done from a paint can spray) on the driver side didn't match the vehicle. I ask if the fender been hit. the salesman response "carfax list no accident and its probably the sun". my response "if it's not reported than it's not going to show up and the sun only shines on that fender". I had a good laugh but he wasn't too happy about my response. continue to inspect the truck and saw a few thing wrong(compass/temp gauge not working, airbag light stay on, air blower kept making a hissing noise when turn on, changing gear kept making a noticeable clicking noise and tire pressure light stay on). pointed it out to him and he gave me the "125 point inspection speech" if that was the case than why would you try to sell a truck with all these issue especially the airbag light being on and the recall not taken care of. I proceed to test drive it since I drove 50 minutes to their dealership. came back, ask if price is negotiable as long as the items I saw wrong was fix. salesman assure me that the fender will not get painted, told me that the truck has a 30 day warranty and after the purchase than I can come back in a few days, inform the issues to the dealership and under warranty, the dealership will fix/replace all of the items but for sure the airbag light because its a safety issue. I thank him for his time and walk away laughing about the experience. So if you need a good laugh than this dealership is a JOKE! More

Everyone dropped the ball...I received delinquent notices from the bank and the DMV on the car I traded in. No one especially the GM Alex wanted to help me or return my phone calls and when phones calls were returned I was told, "there's nothing I can do, my hands are tied". 3 months later and after doing all the work myself I think everything has been taken care of, no thanks to Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep. I drove the car for a month and was just about to make my first payment and then i get a call from dealer saying that the finance company wanted a bigger down payment. The dealer told me that if I put a larger down payment my monthly payments would be lower. I Agreed and drove car home. With my bad credit and bankruptcy I expected to pay high interest and payment. The dealer after signing documents confirmed that everything was fully approved and I left dealership without documents I signed. The finance manager told me that he would have documents ready for me to pick up in a few days. After three weeks I get another call from Bakersfield Jeep and they tell me that I have to bring car back that the finance company did not want to finance me. At this time I have added extras to car totaling $ 1,200.00 dollars on a few upgrades. The dealer finance dept tell me to find a co-signer for the car purchase. So I ask a family member to co-sign he agrees and contacts dealer gives information an hour later I get a call from Walter in sales dept telling me that my co-signer went threw and even told me that my new payments were lower. I ask Walter if he was sure that he had the right customer Jimmy James and he confirmed saying yes Mr James I have the right customer. After an hour the finance manager calls and tells me to bring car into dealer co-signer did not go threw. I told the finance manager that Walter told us different and he put me on hold and i could still hear him giving Walter a big cussing for telling me that. When I first went to bakersfield jeep I was met by 3 salesman racing to get to my car, I was promised the world , and more. I was straight up when I first told the dealer my situation and they said we can work with you. All the dealer did was run my credit down even more by submitting credit apps to every finance company in america and it will take years for the inquiries to fall off my report. The dealer got my hopes up on buying the car and I was back on track having a car to get to and from work. and buy letting me drive the car for a month. I know that the way they handled my purchase was not right and I was taken for a ride, And was promised and told things that were not right.
