My wife Patty chose Barrel in association with where she grew up. I always associated Barrel as a Chevy dealer. I had purchased a car from them many years ago. So we were both familiar with Barrel’s long standing reputation and we felt comfortable with them as a Subaru dealer. I think we were lucky to have Amy as are sales person. She ask us questions that really gave her an idea of what we were looking for and started us out to get the best suited vehicle for our needs that was comparable to our past experience. We were coming from a lease situation and wanted to purchase our next vehicle. Patty had done research on line and really wanted a Subaru Forester but what really made up our minds to seriously consider a Subaru was talking to other owners of Subaru’s they all gave good recommendation. As Amy guided us through the selection process comparing the Forester with the Outback she went out of her way to make sure Patty was comfortable driving the Outback that there were no visibility or handling issues. Amy also gave us a lot of option to get us into an Outback from talking about a lease to a certified used to all the different model options. When we finally ask to see what the price would be on the model we selected we were sold. We picked up the Outback the following Monday Amy went through the owner manuals we signed all the transfer and loan documents and within the hour were ready to drive out the door we also spoke with the service manager. I Baierl story started with a crashed truck and ended with a new Forrester. Patrick was great, my family and I were greeted as we walked in the door with offers of coffee and hot chocolate. On a bitterly cold day Patrick was with us as we looked and the cars on the lot without a complaint. We waited inside while he moved cars out of the way to get at the one we wanted to look at. Was exceedingly helpful and patient with my wife and I as we looked at vehicles even keeping my nine year old daughter busy at the same time. When we left that day it was with a lot of information, a car fax stuffed animal for my little one and respect for Patrick. A few days later we return to purchase one of the Forresters that we looked at but it was unavailable. Patrick quickly searched and found several that matched what we were looking for. We gave him a list of options we wanted added and left for the day. Patrick called us with updates on the vehicle and it seemed each time he called we added something else but he never was anything but kind and helpful. On the day that we returned for the suv everything was perfect. Since then I have talked many times about the experience with this dealer and especially Patrick. Thanks again for a great experience.
