I live in Spokane, Wa and was looking for a 2008 Subaru I live in Spokane, Wa and was looking for a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. These cars are very rare and none I could find in Spokane. The closest o I live in Spokane, Wa and was looking for a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. These cars are very rare and none I could find in Spokane. The closest one was in Pasco, Wa at a Dealership. Seattle and Portland had many to choose from. I recently had visited a Dealership in Pasco but was not too impressed with the car because it had a lot of scratches in the paint. After going on the internet I found a couple in Portland. One of which was at Kuni BMW. I called up Kuni BMW and talked to Salesman John Murphy. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle I was inquiring about. I asked him about the cars paint and body to make sure the car didnt have dents or scratches, rock chips etc. He told me he would look the car over and get back to me. He called me back and told me the cars paint and body were in excellent shape. I was looking to trade my truck in so I was looking for a fair trade in value for my truck. I sent him pics of my truck including all information needed to get a KellY Blue Book value. He met with the used car salesman and called me back with their offer. It was lower than the dealership in Pasco, Wa was wiiling to give. When I explained this to Salesman John Murphy he again met with the salesmanager and they agreed to match what the dealership in Pasco would offer but I would have to pay what they were asking for the car, basically no negotiating with their asking price. So I was confident I would drive the six hours to Portland to purchase the Subaru that had 13,000 miles and they were asking $32,0000. I arrived at Kuni BMW after driving six hours from Spokane. Salesman John Murphy was waiting at the front door and was introduced himself to me. He walked me over to the Subaru which was parked in front of their showroom. The cars paint and body were in excellent condition just as salesman John Murphy had told me over the phone. We immediately went for a test drive. Salesman John Murphy was very patient with me navigating a route for us to test drive the Subaru. I being from Spokane and not very familiar with Portland really appreciated John's patience and knowledge of the area to get a good feel for the car. Only driving the car a few minutes I noticed the clutch was very lose. With a manual transmission the clutch should take a reasonable amount of foot pressure to shift the gears. This clutch seemed really worn. I had only test drove an exact same model of this vehicle the day before with twice the mileage this car I was currenly driving and this one shifted like it had well over 100,000 miles on it when the speedometer only stated 13,000. At intersections and traffic lights when I had to bring the car to a stop, I really had to push the brake pedal hard to bring the vehicle to a stop, a lot more than the vehicle I drove the day before. This brought great concern to me. This vehicle only had 13,000 miles on it and shifted and braked like it needed new brakes and clutch work. I discussed this with salesman John Murphy and he said he would look into it. We arrived back at Kuni BMW and I got out of the vehicle to give further inspection of what I discovered while driving the vehicle. I looked over the cars tires and they were extremely worn. The edges of the tires were rolled, I'm assuming from roasting the tires from doing burnouts or racing. The tire tread depth was very shallow. These tires were totally unacceptable. After looking over the tires I looked over the brake shoes. There is a fifty percent wear marker on the shoes and the front brakes were below fifty percent and the rear right at fifty percent. For only having 13,000 miles this car needed new tires, brakes and possibly clutch work. Salesman John Murphy had noticed what I had been pointed out and asked me what I thought of the car. I told him visually the car was in very good shape but the tires were a major concern to me. I have to drive 6 hours back to Spokane and wasn't comfortable driving this vehicle that long of distance on extremely worn tires. Not only that they were not budging on the price and I knew tires for this car would be somewhere around $1,000. Now my trade in was a 2010 Ford F-350 Superduty with lots aftermarket extras and my truck was in flawless condition including very good TOYO MT tires with 20" teflon rims. Salesman John Murphy discussed with me talking to the salesmanager to negotiate a price to reflect the cost of new tires. To be continued... More
I purchased my wifes car and mine from Mike and have had great service. Even after the purchase he has helped us with other issues on more than one occasion. I recently attempted to purchase a used BMW from Kuni BMW and I had a terrible experience with them. I found a car on their lot which I was interested in, and to avoid having to go through the lengthy "negotiation game" with a salesman, I opted to use the Make an Offer option on the Kuni BMW website. As their asking price was very aggressive (even higher than KBB Retail) I made an offer and explained that my offer was based on a lot of local listings, as well as, looking at both KBB and Edmund's pricing guides. Since KBB is an average of Dealer asking prices and Edmund's is an average of selling prices, I figure true value lies somewhere in between. I then made an offer which was approximately $2000.00 higher than the Edmund's pricing guide's suggested price. I then received an e-mail from the Internet Sales Manager telling me that my offer was fair and wanted to know when I could come in and test drive the car. I went in the next day and even though he wasn't their, I test drove the car. I e-mailed him that night and told him I wanted to purchase the car and wanted to know when he would be in. He told me to come the next day, and when I did, we looked at the car together, discussed a couple of issues, and then went in to work numbers, as I wanted to see what kind of financing they had, before I decided whether to finance or pay cash. He sat me down at a desk and about 5 minutes later he came back, and told me he could sell me the car for a price which was significantly more (several thousand dollars) than what I had offered. When I asked him about the price I had offered and his comments about it being a fair offer before inviting me to come in to test drive the car, he simply said, that he couldn't sell me the car for that price. The internet Sales Manager, basically deceived me into coming in to the dealership by implying that he was willing and able to sell me the car for my offer price, and then after wasting 2 days of my time, he told me that he couldn't sell me the car for that price. It is unfortunate that a business establishment would allow any employee, much less a "manager" use dishonest & shady tactics to deceive a potential customer into thinking they could purchase for a certain price, when they had no intention of actually selling it for that. Perhaps they are just selling so many cars these days, that they can afford to lie to people and risk losing business ??? Kuni BMW had me waste 2 days of my time unknowingly "playing a game" with a sales manager when all I wanted to do was purchase a new car. BEWARE OF SUSPECT BUSINESS PRACTICES AT KUNI BMW !!! More

I have been into many BMW dealerships over the years and this one is by far the best. I have been in for service 3 times over the last few years and every time they have been great. I went to another deal this one is by far the best. I have been in for service 3 times over the last few years and every time they have been great. I went to another dealer in town before I started going to Kuni BMW and felt like they were doing ME a favor. I am very pleased with the quality of work at Kuni BMW as well as the personal attention they give me. I also read in the paper that they were just given a national award for customer service. Not surpricing to me. More

We went to another dealership in the beginning but because of their attitude on the sales floor we chose to go to Kuni for another try. From the very first time we met with a sales representative at Kuni we have had nothing but exemplary service. We have been working with Mike Baggs for the last purchases and we are extremely happy with his professionalism and it has been very easy to purchase a car through him! From the sales relationships to the service department we are extremely happy with Kuni BMW. I would never go anywhere else! More
I never would take the time to write a review but Kuni BMW deserves it and I would like to tell you why. It has been a dream of mine to own a BMW. My heart was set on a specific color (ext and int) and mo BMW deserves it and I would like to tell you why. It has been a dream of mine to own a BMW. My heart was set on a specific color (ext and int) and model. I found only one at Kuni and made an appt with Suzan to see it. Suzan, Ed and Monty made my dream come true. Not only was it exactly what I wanted but the price was unbeatable. I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity. This has been the best car shopping experience I have ever had. EVERYONE was so friendly and I didn't feel like I was being judged in any way. Kuni is professional and has a comfortable atmosphere. The best part is they want to still be there for you with anything you need AFTER they make the sale. I couldn't be happier! I look forward to going there for future maintenance needs and seeing the Kuni crew that made this all possible! More
The day before Christmas, I went car shopping. A friend of mine happened to show me a 2004 M3 on Kuni's site, and I decided to stop by for a test drive. This was the day before Christmas. Two days later, of mine happened to show me a 2004 M3 on Kuni's site, and I decided to stop by for a test drive. This was the day before Christmas. Two days later, I was doing the paperwork for the purchase. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly, curtious, and helpful. They had free drinks and snacks, and were not pushy in any way. They went out of their way to find a M3 jacket in my size, which had to come from out of state. Well, after owning the car for a few months, and making many trips between Portland and Seattle, I noticed a few small problems. However, I deployed March 13th to the Persian Gulf, and didn't have time to take the car in myself. I left it with my family, and emailed them the list of problems. My Father dropped off the car, and the dealer got in contact with me via email (the most reliable means of communications for someone stationed onboard an aircraft carrier). I was able to talk to the service department, find out what the cause of the issues were, and how they would be resolved. Never before have I heard of a dealership going this far out of their way to help a customer. I highly recommend Kuni BMW to anyone looking to purchase a BMW, or have a vehicle serviced. More
