I have been looking to lease a 335is and started my shopping with Kuni BMW. I received horrible service! I had set up the test drive a week in advance with Kelly Dunn, but when I showed up she didn't shopping with Kuni BMW. I received horrible service! I had set up the test drive a week in advance with Kelly Dunn, but when I showed up she didn't even remember what car I was there to drive?! Not only that they didn't even have the car ready to drive! She told me to come back in a week to drive it. Next I wanted to test the new F30 to see if I would be swayed by the new 3-series and took a test drive with Steve Cho. Steve's a nice guy who means well, but doesn't seem like the kind of guy who should be selling The Ultimate Driving Machine. His route he took me on was a 25 mph road with heavy traffic. I asked him about taking a route with a slightly higher speed, like 45 or 55, but he said that this was their set route. He told me that he takes ALL of his M customers on this route. If I was looking to buy an M car, there is no way I buy a car without fully experiencing its performance. You can't experience that buy driving 25 mph. The test drive paled in comparison to wonderful test drive I had at the Eugene BMW dealership years ago; the one I had taken earlier that day S4 from Audi Wilsonville; and the one I took with BMW Portland later that day. I asked Kelly to take a test drive in an area I was familiar with where I could experience the car, but was told it was not company policy to drive outside of their set routes. I was shocked and how poor the customer service was at Kuni. Later that day I went to BMW Portland and was blown away by how great their customer service was! They went out of their way to provide me with amazing customer service throughout the purchase experience! Look up my the review I posted on their page of this site. If you're in the market for a BMW and want great customer service, and knowledgeable staff skip right past Kuni BMW and go to BMW Portland! I just picked up my new 335is and love it! BMW Portland won my business not just for this car, but for all future BMW's! More
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and just purchased a used 2001 Z3 Coupe from Kuni. The car was in fantastic shape. Jarod did a great job of representing the car on the web and Wally was awesome to work used 2001 Z3 Coupe from Kuni. The car was in fantastic shape. It was a great road trip thanks to everyone at Kuni BMW. Their service is head and sholders above my local BMW dealer. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in buying a BMW. They too could have a great road trip. More
I just relocated back from NYC and am in the market for a new car. I came into Kuni to check out BMW as they were on my list of considered cars. The salesman was very rude to me and treated me like a young new car. I came into Kuni to check out BMW as they were on my list of considered cars. The salesman was very rude to me and treated me like a young girl that could not afford one of their cars. He was very unfriendly and unhelpful, kept trying to push his used "front line" of used cars on me. I was very direct and said I came here for the new BMWs. I had to just go get in the cars on the floor myself to check them out and was not given any information by the salesman about the cars. He provided a brochure but was otherwise not helpful. My father had come with me to look at cars so we could spend time together since I just moved back and I value his opinion, apparently this coupled with me looking like I am in my 20s even though I'm well in my 30s made the salesman think I wasn't a candidate for their level of cars. My father made a comment to him that I could indeed afford it and mentioned the field i work in and the salesman then tried to become overly friendly and chatty at the end. Huge turn off, worst sales experience we had in the two days we spent looking at cars. Lesson to Kuni, never judge a book by it's cover! You've lost a sale in me, if I decide to go with the BMW I will find another dealer who treats me with respect. More
Kuni's the service center is very disappointing. I've owned BMWs my entire life so I know what I'm getting into and what to expect. I just purchased my first car from Kuni this past July (always purchased from Rassmussen/Portland). Car was advertised as 100k warranty. However, when my car needed service they indicated it was a typo and it wasnt under warranty and they aren't responsible. I'm sorry, but when you are spending $40k on a car, you expect to get what was advertised. What was most disturbing though was the lack of accountability (I sent them the paperwork with their "typo" on it showing what was advertised). Couldn't get a call back, kept getting passed to people we were told were in the office but never got a call or email back. When we finally received a call it was an assistant that didn't know anything and couldn't actually discuss this issue. I understand things happen but poor customer service in unexcusable. I will never purchase from them again and nor will anyone I come into contact with. The service manager was a disgrace to this experience and I never heard back from anyone else that we contacted. I've had better service buying a $10 plate at Target More
Jeneva was fantastic. I was inquiring about the Pull Ahead program as I was coming up on the final portion of my lease but my model year had not yet been announced. Jeneva stayed on top of the announcements anyway to keep an eye out for me. By the time the 2011 was announced I had moved out of state. Jeneva still called and emailed me which resulted in building a relationship with my new local BMW dealer. I was able to get the X1 I had been looking into for months and I love it! Thank you Jeneva and Kuni, you have a great staff! More
I visited Kuni to explore buying a used car. I was encouraged to ask questions and drive as many cars as I wanted. After a day or so I returned having chosen 2 possibilities to further my decision. My salesman was busy, so Adam Murray stepped up to help me proceed. Adam was cordial and discussed the plus and minuses of the cars without putting any pressure on me to buy and said take my time. I chose a car and Adam personally walked me through the final paperwork. Adam had my car detailed and ready for pickup the next day and we finalized the transaction. I would use Adam again. More
Greg Was very good and there was no pressure to buy. He found just what we wanted and got it in our price range. The paper work was easy and done fast. I do not remember the name of the guy, but he is a slim guy with some beard. His service was even worse, I felt insulted. When he talked to me he sit with on leg over another and sit quit back and were not willing to answer any question. I left the dealership with very mad feeling. I will never use this dealers again. We are from out of state so we were unfamiliar with the dealership or the area. I called and spoke with Guy Wheeler (Kuni sales person) to determine if the car was still available and other vehicle related questions. Guy was patient, courteous, knowledgeable and just plain pleasant to talk with. The car we purchased was not a BMW but I must say they made us feel like we were part of the family.
