I had a situation with a wheel warranty that was supposed to be cancelled within my free look period. When I discovered it had not, Tammy stepped in and did what was needed to get me my credit applied, even to be cancelled within my free look period. My father had a positive experience purchasing a 330ci from BMW of Sarasota in 2002. Therefore before purchasing my M3 I decided to take the car to them for a pre purchase inspection (PPI). I scheduled th from BMW of Sarasota in 2002. Therefore before purchasing my M3 I decided to take the car to them for a pre purchase inspection (PPI). I scheduled the PPI a week in advance, when the car was delivered they had no record of my appointment. I was charged $350 and told the car only needed maintenance in addition to repairs that I specifically pointed out to them. I like to DIY, so I decided to purchase the car, knowing that I can perform all the basic maintenance. Since taking possession of the vehicle I've discovered that the car has significant rust that is easily identifiable when the car is elevated. The previous owner told me that he installed HID fog light bulbs, resulting in dash warning lights. Turns out both bi-xenon lights are bad and the fogs are not the issue. When I elevated the car I found a cheap aftermarket ballast zip tied to the frame. I'm convinced they didn't even look at this car. I requested my PPI report on multiple occasions, I received nothing. I successfully disputed the credit card charge, but I lost $1000s repairing this car. John Tremble told that he personally inspected the under carriage while the car was on the lift ... I now know this was a completely dishonest statement. Do not have your car serviced here, especially if you didn't purchase a vehicle from them. More

BMW of Sarasota has sold and serviced 4 out of 6 BMW's I have enjoyed. My original service advisor was Eric Bacher who always attended to my needs in a very professional and friendly manner. Recently I have been assigned to John Tremblay in service who has equally treated me as if I was his only customer, keeping me informed on the status of my service. When I picked my vehicle up (after repairs), John made sure he spoke to me personally and ensured I was completely satisfied. I was also able to speak to one of the technicians that worked on my car, which was immaculate when I got it back! At that time I had an appointment to have my yearly maintenance (I do not put alot of mileage on the car each year). When I arrived for my appt. another service person said that I could not have service for another 2 weeks although I was given an appointment over the phone. Of course the other sales man explained to me why (I needed two more weeks before my year was up) but he did not make me feel that he cared about my inconvenience. John certainly did feel my frustration today. My question is, when I called to make the appt, why is the person on the phone not looking in the computor to see if my year is up. My paperwork stated that I way there in May of 2010. So I should have been alright with my appt. Aparently not. This is not good business. More
John Tremblay was very nice and explained all my options to me. I have 2 different extended warranty plans and explained to me what each one covers, but if something needed to be done and it isn't covered, to me.
