Super Service + My car was so new that the Anti-wheel & tire warranty had not been received by the warranty company yet, but when I had a tire that had a nail in the My car was so new that the Anti-wheel & tire warranty had not been received by the warranty company yet, but when I had a tire that had a nail in the "run flat" tire, JC (Juan Carlos Rodriguez) realized it would be several hours to obtain the authorization for replacement, so he arranged for a loaner car & I was on my way within to work within minutes. The job was done while I worked away without charge except for the $50.00 decuctable. Hard to argue with that for phenominal service, which JC & BMW of Rockville have always provided. More

They were booked, so they scheduled me for a month and a half later. When I arrived, they used the passage of time to deny their guarantee to their work. They charged me for a second alignment. They found a problem, which they fixed, then charged me for a THIRD alignment. Total cost to get an alignment: about $585 More
BMW Rockville, MD-STAY AWAY, if you value your time & money! I took my 535XI to be checked at this dealership due to a message coming from the computer: “high battery drain.” The service advisor, Mr. Beaver Ho I took my 535XI to be checked at this dealership due to a message coming from the computer: “high battery drain.” The service advisor, Mr. Beaver Ho, assured me after his techs had spent more than an hour investigating, that the issue was due to an “IBS cable” and that it would cost $650.00 to replace it. I point blank asked if he was completely sure that cable would solve the problem and I was told “it sure will”. After all, I certainly wouldn’t OK a costly repair that was a “maybe.” So based on that assurance I sanctioned the work. Next day the service advisor called and informed me that they replaced the cable but the issue was still there and that they now suspected the battery. I told him that it couldn’t be the battery as it had been replaced less than 18 months ago and I had it tested twice before I brought my car to the BMW service center. Based on this news, I requested that they waive the charge for the cable. The service advisor refused, and suggested I speak with the service manager, Mr. Lance Mitchell. I called Mr. Mitchell, and after 2 days of talking, it was very evident that nobody in that “service center” knows what they are talking about. They wanted me to put in a new battery and leave the car for another round of investigations (and, of course, more unfounded charges). Based on criteria presented to me I thought-- and rightly so-- that I should take my car out of there, as they proved themselves to be inept. I again requested waiving the cable charge as replacing it did NOT fix anything in the car and that I had agreed to replace the cable with M. Ho’s assurance that doing so would solve the issue. Mr. Mitchell became hostile and told me that my car is ready and to come take it before EOB that same day or else I would be charged $90.00+ per day for not returning the loaner, beginning the next morning. And, he reiterated that they would not waive anything. I decided to call the dealership’s General Manager (GM), but, in his absence spoke with a very pleasant gentleman (Assistant GM) Mr. Nicholas Popovici . He listened to my complaint and asked me to let him speak with the service manager and call me back. We did that twice and after talking to the Service Manager twice, the Assistant GM told me he was told “they did the work and have to charge for it!” and that “honestly speaking they do not seem to know what they are talking about.” I repeated my request for a waiver of the cable charge but was denied that, and the best the Assistant GM was able to do was a 10% discount on the part (BTW, this discount is offered to anyone under this month’s promotion!) So, I wasted 3 days, $597.00 and a was subjected to a great deal of aggravation because of an inefficient and unreasonable Service Manager who could not see that it was his team’s mistake . 10 minutes into driving the car off the service center, the “Check Engine” light came on. This light has not been there before and I am definitely not bringing the car back to this unprofessional and unreasonable dealer. BMW Rockville could not correctly and professionally diagnose my car’s problem and refused to do the honorable thing by not charging for something I did not need in the first place. Thus, I encourage all BMW drivers to stay far away from the Rockville BMW Service Center if you are looking for quality service to your vehicle -- and do not have a boatload of money to throw away! Service Manager Scott Cascone was no help denying any wrong doing by them but thanks for offering a quote to have them refinished. Ridiculous! More

I've been in other BMW dealerships to service my cars and usually to get a loaner you must have an appointment, so I was greatly surprised because I was a walk-in customer ready to spend at least half of my day at the dealership. Juan Carlos, kept me informed regularly over the phone about the status of my vehicle, very friendly and professional guy. As a matter of fact, I felt the service was so nice that I went to the sales area and got me a 5 series. More
I am recovering from back surgery at the same time my car was due in for service. Recuperation from the surgery meant that I was unable to drive my automobile. Zaheer Rangwalla, my customer advisor, went above and beyond the call of duty by coming to my house, picking up the car and driving it to the service center. He will return it when the service is completed. I have arranged the exact service required with my service manager Beaver Ho, who is very attentive to my health and service issues. BMW of Rockville and its service center deserve an outstanding rating for meeting my unusual customer need for help given my temporary disability. More
The BMW Collision Center of Rockville (BMWCCR)--apparently affiliated with VOB of Rockville--was the worst repair shop I have ever encountered. You may think that BMW associated companie (BMWCCR)--apparently affiliated with VOB of Rockville--was the worst repair shop I have ever encountered. You may think that BMW associated companies provide at least a modicum of quality service, then you have never been involved with BMWCCR. Not only did they take more than a month to repair a simple dent, but they constantly told me that the car would be done "for certain" on a particular day, only to tell me differently late on the day I was supposed to pick the car up. I don't know if they are really as imcompetent as they seem, or if they simply take pride in jerking buyers of expensive cares around. In the end, they were so incompetent that my insurance company would no longer pay for the rental car, leaving me without any transporation--unless I wanted to pay for the rental myself. They also took pride in keeping people on hold on the phone. On one occasion I was on hold, hearing a prerecored statement about how they give great service, for over 25 minutes (with them coming back on the phone every 10 minutes as a teaser). Fortunately, I could place the phone on speaker and continue to get work done at law firm that I work at. If you are so stupid as to take your car to them, they you deserve the bad service that you will certainly get. More
Absolutely terrible service in both service and sales departments. Sales staff have no idea what cars they have In inventory. Both sales and service techs act like they are doing me a favor speaking to m departments. Sales staff have no idea what cars they have In inventory. I am very unhappy with my experience here and I would not recommend using this dealer for service or sales. More
Worst Service Experience Ever!!! I recently brought my Worst Service Experience Ever!!! I recently brought my X5 in for service. At the beginning of the service I specifically asked for them to look at Worst Service Experience Ever!!! I recently brought my X5 in for service. At the beginning of the service I specifically asked for them to look at the rear passenger tire and it was leaking air. When I was called to come and pick up the car I asked about the tire. I was told that it had been checked and there was nothing wrong with the tire. The Service Rep said maybe it was a loose valve. I drove away with the peace of mind that everything had been checked. However within a week I noticed that the tired was leaking. I brought it to another dealer who said there was a large nail in the tire clearly visible to the naked eye. I found it incredulous that BMW of Rockville had not been aware of it. That leads me one of two conclusions either the Service Rep lied about checking the tire or they have a low quality service department. Wanting to find out what the dealer would say. I went and asked to talk with the service manager and show him the nail pulled out from the tire. He said he would follow up and took details about my car. I got no response. I then wrote a complaint and received an email saying they would respond to me. I got no response so then I rang BMW of North America and they called the dealer requesting a call. That was two weeks ago and still no call. The bottom line is the BMW of Rockville Service department does not care. Stay away. BMW of Silver Spring are much better. I am surprised BMW allows this dealer to display their logo as they are a disgrace. More
