I had a great experience buying a new X5 at the BMW Gallery in Norwell. I needed many things serviced with my car; inspection sticker, coolant filled, and the light came on for reduced power. When I called Katherine she said to bring it right in. They had to keep the car and sticker, coolant filled, and the light came on for reduced power. When I called Katherine she said to bring it right in. They had to keep the car and she gave me a loaner for 21/2 days. She called me everyday to keep me informed with what they were doing. When my car was done she worked around my schedule for me to bring the car back. I'm very pleased with BMW Gallery in Norwell and I will continue to go back. More
I have worked with Bob Carpenter and BMW of Norwell for over 5 years and with 2 BMWs: a 325 XiT and X5 Turbo Diesel. In both sales and leases this dealership and Bob Carpenter have surpassed their competit over 5 years and with 2 BMWs: a 325 XiT and X5 Turbo Diesel. In both sales and leases this dealership and Bob Carpenter have surpassed their competitors in knowledge of the vehicles, performance and price. They know their vehicles and the competition whether it be another BMW dealer or alternative option. Each time they have amazed me with their ability to recommend the best vehicle for my needs. They have always gone the extra distance to make the experience worth coming back to buy or lease another vehicle. They do not push options that are not necessary for the performance and experience you desire and the price you can afford. This dealership and Bob Carpenter in particular does their job very well, provide service you can rely upon, and makes buying, leasing, driving and having your vehicle serviced a pleasure. I recommend them without hesitation. More

I must say that as a busy medical professional, I have a demanding schedule that is unpredictable. From the first on-line contact at BMW Gallery Norwell with Lisa Miles, to the final business paperwork with demanding schedule that is unpredictable. From the first on-line contact at BMW Gallery Norwell with Lisa Miles, to the final business paperwork with Davis Nourse, and an extraordinary sales experience in between with salesman Greg Smith, my needs were met and exceeded. This is the type of dealership that should be the model. I have previously owned and leased Porsches and adored the dealership and sales manager, but my desire for a BMW required finding a different dealer. After having a very bad experience elsewhere, I drove 40 miles out of my way to come to BMW Norwell. It was worth the commute and I will gladly recommend my friends to this dealer. I have purchased the vehicle that I wanted (2011 model year, new) and won't be needing a new vehicle any time soon, but hope to return in the future when I next need /want a new BMW. I can't speak about service yet, but the prep and delivery were flawless. I am happy with my new car and wholehearted thank everyone who I worked with at BMW Norwell for giving me a fair deal and a smooth transaction WITHOUT the shenanigans that usually surround car sales. With this choice in mind, my husband and I evaluated options with ease, in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Greg Smith made purchasing our car a pleasurable experience. This visit was for sales. Mr Carpenter is a pleasure easy to deal with. He has excellent knowledge of the various vehicles, thoroughly answers questions but never pressured me. Generally the experience was very good from my first contact on the telephone, through my check in, and the helpfulness of Katie getting me checked in and securing a "loner" car to use while it was bein contact on the telephone, through my check in, and the helpfulness of Katie getting me checked in and securing a "loner" car to use while it was being repaired and letting me know when the job was completed. Jeff Hall did a great job in assessing the problem and Katie got back to me promptly with the estimate of the problem and the estimate of the costs. Since we only have one car we were very pleased that the repairs were done so promptly and we were ready to go again that evening. Chuck Foster More
I did a rant on an e-mail that I sent in response to a web add from the BMW Gallery Group. My cooling system had been acting crazy for about 6 months, and I was really worried I was doing damage to the e web add from the BMW Gallery Group. My cooling system had been acting crazy for about 6 months, and I was really worried I was doing damage to the engine. I had researched it at a couple of BMW websites, and checked it out with other owners I knew locally. I had brought the car to Norwell before for the same complaint, in June, and at that time they said it was normal. This time Katy Ellis, service administrator, fielded the problem and was persistent for 2.5 days of service time to get the problem finally fixed. I urged them to take the car out and drive it for long drives- to really get the car fully warmed up, so that they could fully experience the turbo jet engine radiator noise. I told them to take it to the other dealer for parts if they want- Katy accommodated my wishes, and finally, at the end of day two, the car threw a code- bad thermostat temp sensor that cracked the mystery. The next day, the new thermostat/sensor was installed. Over last weekend the car got the acid test- going to the western part of the City of Boston, 120 minutes in, 120 out, in horrendous traffic back to my house. The car ran about 10 degrees Celsius cooler the whole time (20+ F.) and I only heard the fan come on once the whole grueling city-stop and go trip. Without Katy hanging in there with it we wouldn't have got it done. She was fabulous. I think she called me 6 times to keep me abreast of the progress. More
