I returned for an oil change in 2008 and found a completely different attitude and atmosphere. We bought a 2007 CPO from Carl Luthy at this dealer in 2009, and had a great experience. Service has been fantastic. We ordered a new 2011 X5d from Carl and it was a great experience as well. I found a 750 CPO last year at a dealer in Milwaukee - I should have stayed patient enough to let BMW of Peoria find one! Once Peoria's service solved all of the issues it had, we truly enjoy the vehicle. (Concours, the selling dealer was terrible!) BMW of Peoria treated me as if I purchased it from them! They have been fantastic. Last week, we picked up our 3rd purchase from Carl Luthy at BMW of Peoria, a 435i convertible to replace the now retired 2007. Tim Leman and the Leman group have obviously gone to great lengths to change a mediocre dealership into a premier dealership. We are not just satisfied... we are Raving Fans! More
My husband found the car on the interenet and it is what is has been wanting for a very long time we went in to test drive it and was met by the salesman that was only there for a few weeks. We test drove is has been wanting for a very long time we went in to test drive it and was met by the salesman that was only there for a few weeks. We test drove it and decided to buy the car and they were going to do the financing for us well we waited for 4 days still no peep out of the salesman or the financial guy on what thely found out. Well we gave up waiting on them so we went to our local bank and got the financing done through them and took us 5 calls starting at 11:30m AM to 3:30 PM to get them fax over the paper work to the bank. Then we called Thomas and let him know we be there at 5:00 to pickup the car and the car was still up for sale even though they knew we bought it how bad is that. Then we had to wait at the dealership for an hour for Charlie which is not a very friendly person to begin with to do all the paperwork that was suppose to be done before we got there according to the salesman that we talked to. Very unprofessional car delarship if you don't buy a new car from there just a used one they will treat you like you are nothing to them. I advise you to go somewhere else before buying here and I have bought numerous cars and the best delarship is Lighthouse in Morton IL go see them. More
I am a harsh critic, I have no problem telling people how much they suck. I hate car dealers to boot. They're all slimy, sneaky SOBs as far as I'm concerned. Well, I stand corrected. Dealing with BMW of P much they suck. I hate car dealers to boot. They're all slimy, sneaky SOBs as far as I'm concerned. Well, I stand corrected. Dealing with BMW of Peoria was an amazing experience. I found a 4 year old vehicle that I had a minor interest in on autotrader.com. I had another deal on the table with another group, so I wasn't too serious. I gave an obnoxiously low price and I would barely move on it, but Najib kept composure and patiently worked with me on the price. I then hit him with some requirements I have concerning the loan, due to my religion. Najib knew exactly what I was talking about. He passed my requirements off to Jim, their Business Manager, who contacted the banks and found me the type of loan that I needed. I also expressed interest in an extended warranty. Believe it or not Jim actually gave me a good deal. I compared it to about 4 or 5 other companies. Every dealer I spoke to marked up the warranty about $2000. I had to go third-party internet to get a reasonable price. I didn't have to play around with Jim, he gave me a price that was comparable to the third-party prices right off the bat. I still had some reservations about the car...it was 700 miles away after all. Najib described it to me perfectly. He even took it to another dealership so that they could confirm the condition of the vehicle. I went from "meh" to "i'll get it" in about 3 days. Najib amazingly met all of my complicated requirements in that short amount of time. I flew out to Peoria, where Najib picked me up from the airport and chauffeured me around the city. At the dealership we took care of business, everyone was just as wonderful in person. From test drive to signing they got everything done within an hour. I thought about emailing Najib when I got home. Just to let him know how great the car drives; but I figured he could care less. The sale is made and they will never see me again. I was surprised to find that that was simply not the case. About 6 hours after completing my 10 hours drive Najib dropped me an email to make sure that I had gotten home safely. Quality service from BMW of Peoria. Seriously. More
> Great attention, both Sales and Service (Nathaniel & Ryan). Very competitive pricing, Sales and Service. Emergency Service attention to an older BMW Conv., which I kept, was beyond the call and led m & Ryan). Very competitive pricing, Sales and Service. Emergency Service attention to an older BMW Conv., which I kept, was beyond the call and led me to the purchase of a new 128i. Production and delivery status of my new convertible was timely and accurate and their communications with me definitely convinced me that my business would be important to them even after the sale. From fair trade-in allowance and product option selections to the bottom-line pricing they were more than competitive. They clearly offered the better deal than three other regional BMW dealerships. They are clearly working hard on a focused growth program which is sure to to benefit many future customers and create headaches for their competition. Keep up the good work (& Pricing!). More
Awful dealership on every front. Interested in 2013 M5, went in to look at an M3 on the lot, Saleperson Carl was friendly, but never called to xxu on my visit. I later called and left a voicemail and then went in to look at an M3 on the lot, Saleperson Carl was friendly, but never called to xxu on my visit. I later called and left a voicemail and then a week later sent an email....neither yielded a response. Ended buying the car from out-of-state dealer who was phenomenal. When I took the car to be serviced for 1200 mile check, they did nothing with car first day. On second day when I finally got the service complete, instead of appologizing to me for the delay, the sales manager (Nathaniel Leman)administers an inquistion as to why I didn't buy the car from his dealership. I politely explained my poor experience and he promised to win over my business as they serviced the car in coming years...lol. The humor and irony of this event, however, could not have prepared me for what was about to transpire. Three days later, BMW issued a recall for an engine oil pump in the new M5. I was told not to drive the car and to take it to my nearest service center who would provide me with a loaner. This they did, however, 3 days later (after receiving a poor service review from my previous experience) the service manager John Holler calls and demands the loaner be returned that day even going so far as to cite my poor survey scores. Took a call from BMW corporate for them to agree to place me in a rental at BMW's expense. To date, I have not received a call from anyone at BMW of Peoria, despite corporate requesting they do so within 3 business days. This dealership has a terrible reputation in our area and now I see why. I'm in the process of getting rid of the new M5, just so I don't have to deal with this dealership/service center. More
Woody is a true BMW pro, a gentleman, and a joy to deal with. He was very upfront at the beginning about wanting to understand where were at in the shopping process and what our expectations were. It was n with. He was very upfront at the beginning about wanting to understand where were at in the shopping process and what our expectations were. It was nice that he wanted to get to know us and our situation before just jumping in and trying to sell us a car. We had been to many dealers and he was easily the best. He took us on a nice test-drive and told us about many things that we did not know and other salespeople had not mentioned. He really made it easy and enjoyable and I can see why he is the President of the BMW Car Club in Illinois. He really cares about his customers needs and made buying our BMW easy and fun.Woody is the best! More
