This was my first time working with Milena Bindel and she was fantastic. She gets 5 stars, but the reason for the 4-star rating is that over the last several years the time to get my vehicle serviced when I was fantastic. She gets 5 stars, but the reason for the 4-star rating is that over the last several years the time to get my vehicle serviced when I drop it off is averaging 2-3 days rather than the 1-2 it used to take for similar service. The repairs appear to have been made properly. But communications and updates were few and far between - possibly because work was slow in being completed? I had to call to get updates instead of being kept informed. Also, there were big problems in returning my car to me. After having my car for over a week, I spoke to Mark on a Monday. He said work would be done and the car ready Tuesday. I said I couldn't make it in on Tuesday but could on Wednesday. He agreed. I called Wednesday morning to come pick up my car because I was in the area , but I was told it wasn't ready - the tech still had some parts to finish installing and there was paperwork left to do. I had been told it would have been ready the day before! But since it wasn't ready when I called Wed morning, Mark offered to have a lot worker meet me later that day and exchage it for the loaner. Sounded like a good plan. Never got a call, however, to make the switch. I was told the service manager was out of the office that day and needed to complete the paperwork. Is there really no backup to cover for the service manager when she's out? That's a dealership managemement isssue ... people are going to be out of the office from time to time and you should ALWAYS have people crosss-trained so that they can cover for each other when they are out. On the positive side, I appreciated the dealership's willingness to go to BMW on my behalf and get some warranty coverage for the repairs, even though the car was outside warranty. Much appreciated. Happy to see BMW step up as well, because the repairs were ones that should NOT be needed in a luxury vehicle. More
