i recently purchase a 5 series station wagon from northwest bmw. i had been searching for quite a while for this vehicle since it has not been produced since 2010 and there are not many of them aroun northwest bmw. i had been searching for quite a while for this vehicle since it has not been produced since 2010 and there are not many of them around. having found a car i wanted in maryland i was prepared to pay to transport the car to new york. this would have added at least $650 to my expenses but to my surprise, tyrone told me he would be happy to drive the car from his dealership straight to my doorstep! a drive of at least 4 hours each way. he and his lovely wife did indeed deliver the car to me and he was even more personable and knowledgeable in person than on the phone. throughout the deal, he was prompt in answering all questions and was never pushy. very straightforward and well-mannered salesman, which was very much appreciated. i feel i got a fair price on the car and the overall buying experience was great. i highly recommend tyrone. I recently brought a 2012 550xi, let me tell you; my experience is the worst; at first we agreed on a price but when it comes to delivery; the price of the vehicle changed. I was promised a low apr; dealer told me I was locked in; when it's time for delivery the apr went up. I told them in that case I don't want the vehicle. They told me if that's the case; they won't refund my deposit. After thinking this over; i told them fine; I take the difference in apr with one exceptation that they give me some accessories for the vehicle. They say fine; they promise me that it will be in the vehicle when I get it. To my surprise when I got the vehicle its missing them. I called them back and they told me the accessories that I want was on back order and they would arrange to have pick up at my local dealer. I say fine but when? They told me Monday. Right now my ca is avoiding my calls. I should have gotten it in writing that they owe me the accessories. Bad mistake After posting of this website; they contacted me and sended the accessories as promised; my overall experience with them has changed. I'm happy with my purchase, just unhappy what I have to go through to get everything sorted out. Lesson learned. More

We had purchased 5 BMW's from Towson BMW and called the sales guy we had been working with there when we heard there was a sale. I had heard good things about Northwest so I thought I'd give it a try. I came in and was greeted immediately. We were in an X3 within 20 minutes for a test drive. They did not have what I was looking for in inventory and had to build it. I waited nearly 6 weeks, but it was worth the wait. I was in and out of the dealership with paperwork in nearly 1.5 hours! I have purchased nearly 20 automobiles in my lifetime and I would have to say that this was one of (if not) the best sales experience(s). Roy did an outstanding job. He paired my phone and set all of my preferences for the car. Soon after he spent a lot of time going over the features. I have never had this thorough of an introduction to a new car! Joy did an outstanding job reviewing options and setting up my BMWassist. My sales person affixed my license plates and we were off. I love the X3 and would definitely recommend Northwest to anyone in the area looking for a new BMW. More

The process of purchasing a vehicle, to me, is horrible. It costs a lot of money, it is an asset- or lack thereof- that has monumental and sharp depreciation, and is typically very stressful. I left the showroom on Tuesday feeling that I had made the best out of my situation, Tyrone and I created a fare and mutually beneficial deal, and finally, I don’t have any financial remorse. I sent in a request for service through the website and never heard back. I called them on the day of my supposed appointment and was told I was not in the system. I scheduled a new service. I left and never went back. I was planning on this dealer being my BMW dealer for life, but now, I'm thinking of switching over to Audi. More
