I was in the process of researching options and specs for a new BMW, which would likely need to be custom ordered. Received an email within a few hours informing me that they have a modifiable allocation to work with. I was excited for the opportunity, but wanted to take a moment to figure out the exact build. After informing the CA about that, I have been ignored. I followed up with a few emails, even listing out the exact options I'd like. Never heard a response. All methods of trying to contact and initiate an order has been ignored. This was very disappointing. I recommend avoiding this dealership for purchases. I was fortunate to find another dealership on the east side, who worked with me to get my build in and secure and allocation. More
I purchased an IX from this dealership and have never seen such poor service & neglect. I gave them several days notice I was coming to pick it up & driving from out of state to get. It was very dirty inside and out for a new vehicle, they still had to do updates, nor did they have it charged so I had to wait most of the day for them to get it ready. Then they told me I could not bring a cashier's check. I told them I would Finance through my own bank. The day I drove to get it they told me that I had to bring my wife when I was already 4 hours from home. Then they told me I had to finance through them at a ridiculous rate. The best part about it is unbeknownst to me the car had an active recall on it that was three or four months old relating to the battery. I got a call from BMW corporate saying there was a fire risk with the battery and I needed to park it outside and stop using it. This was not a warranty problem and they had no fix for it. So basically they sold me $100,000 vehicle with a known recall and no fix. They never informed me of this recall and they claim to have no knowledge of it. Fortunately BMW corporate helped me through it and provided a loaner while I got it repaired. I went without the car for 3 months during this repair. I've had the car for over a year and still am waiting for the license plate. I have called this dealership or emailed them 8 to 10 times during the course of the year and have gotten nowhere. Most of my calls have never been returned. When I did get any type of follow-up nothing was ever done. So my car has been recalled twice, I have paid for renewal stickers for the license plate which I am still waiting for. Now they are telling me the license plate was delivered and it's not their fault that it was lost in the mail. When I complained again they blamed FedEx and said FedEx couldn't track it this far out. They asked me to get my own license plate which I have done even though they charged me for it. This dealership has absolutely zero interest in the customer or providing any level of service, professionalism or trust that would retain or attract customers! I wouldn't buy a free car from this place🤪 More
I had an inspection scheduled for August 25th at 2:30 pm. I drove about an hour in an attempted to call the dealership. No one answered the phone, no pre-recorded voicemail just a never ending ring. I finally realized that if I stayed on the phone for 5 min I would finally get a voicemail. I left a voicemail. I checked their website making sure I had the correct number (Sales, Service, Parts, etc) and finally, finally, saw the website banner that stated that they were out of power and thus temporarily closed. I never received any communication about the power outage and never received a callback. When I finally called them and stated my horrible customer service they would not prioritize or work me in. I will be going to another BMW dealership. This is basic customer service when scheduling appointments. More

I purchased a BMW from Okemos Auto Collection in January. They promised it will be delivered in 4 days, but took 3 weeks. When it arrived there was a dent on the trunk of the car. They blamed it on the delivery company and said delivery company insurance will pay for it. But the delivery company refused to take responsibility. They claimed it happened after I received it, although I had contacted the dealership with pictures immediately after getting the car. The GM Steve Sheehan just backtracked on their promise to fix it! Be careful dealing with this dealership. More
Nightmare Stay Away Started with loaner car was out because an employee had it. We could wait a few hours and it would probably be back. Misdiagnosed the problem and had to order more parts so the bill went up and still no loaner car for the weekend. We were also informed that our car was probably in an accident at one time because something looked funny. (Wrong). Got a call the car was done, somehow the price went up because they discover more wrong, but they gave us a big discount somewhere! HA. Car was delivered. Now ALL Door locks don't work (original problem 1 side) trunk also not working. Now got a call that the battery was probably dead in the key. Got another call & seems as if it now works at the dealership. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. More

But you know, I'm not surprised, because when I was shopping for a new car, your sales person did not seem to take me seriously, acted like she didn't want my business and would not even let me test drive the 4 series I was looking at (and noticed you still have not sold)... You lost my sale and now you lost my service business, before you ever laid a hand on my BMW... More
I purchased my 2013 X3 from Okemos dealer and the whole experience went very well. I met with my sales person Ed over the course of 4 months as I was taking my time on this decision. When we finially moved to pricing terms, they beat Edmunds and Kelly Blue book listed fair price by $1240. I did a Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina and it was a fantastic time. Everyone was very professional, coordinated, and very friendly at the Delivery Center. I have had my X3 serviced several times for the routine maintenance and Paula always had another vehicle for me to drive while the service was being peformed. I'm over 60 in age and have bought many new and used vehicles. This was by far the best experience. More
Rude handling of customers. No time to clarify questions. If you buy your BMW at other Dealer, Do not go to Okemos BMW.
