BMW of Newport to the rescue ! Last Saturday afternoon, I was visiting Newport, many, many miles from my home in Connecticut, when I had the misfortune of driving over a 1/4 " bolt Last Saturday afternoon, I was visiting Newport, many, many miles from my home in Connecticut, when I had the misfortune of driving over a 1/4 " bolt which went straight into the front tire on my brand new BMW X3. I had to return to Connecticut that night, and service departments everywhere were about to close for the weekend. I started to panic. First I called the local Goodyear dealer. They didn't have the tire, and it would take a few days to get one. I started to sweat. Think....Think...who would have the tire? I grabbed my Iphone and called BMW of Newport and spoke to John in the service department. They had the tire, and even though their service department was due to close for the weekend soon, they were happy to squeeze me in. Yahoo !!!!!!Thank you!!! When I got there, John brought me upstairs to their comfortable waiting area and even made me a cup of fresh latte. He had me back on the road in a jiffy. Thank you John, and BMW of Newport !!! More
John and the service department could not have done a better job servicing my car. John was very professional over the phone, he handled all of my concerns and went above & beyond to help me out. A member of the team picked up my car at work, left me a loaner vehicle and returned my car to my work place as soon as it was ready. 1998 BMW 323ic vert; basically a summer toy but still a great car. Sunday evening I go to open the trunk to get my brief case and computer - no open. Key turns, remote locks and unlocks, but the release latch apparently isn't engaging. Go on-line and find a number of possible problems and solutions. When it was coming down to taking a hole saw and cutting through the trunk lid I figured this is a job for the dealership. Show up at BMW of Newport first thing in the morning; no appointment. Jerry Haas greats me with a cheerful attitude and says no problem - we'll get the shop foreman right on it. After about 45 minutes he comes to see me in the waiting area and tells me it's a little more complicated that originally anticipated, but hey - no problem! We meet with the shop foreman who explains the whole situation and asks for permission to take some drastic measures. I need my computer so it's go time. Another 30 minutes and they're in. Jerry tells me they need to order some replacement parts; will take a day. How about we put you in a loaner and get you going on your way. I'm pleasantly surprised, grab the keys and head off to work. Next day Jerry calls and tells me the car is all set and I can pick it up that night. Get the car - good as new! I've got to tell you, BMW of Newport treated me like I had just bought a 7 series from them. I couldn't be happier with the service, and although the repair was somewhat costly, I understand that there was a ton of labor time and overall feel the price was fair. BMW of Newport is the best place for service, I drive from Providence (45 minutes) just because the service. When I was looking for a service dealer, I took out my Samsung BlackJack II and searched for m from Providence (45 minutes) just because the service. When I was looking for a service dealer, I took out my Samsung BlackJack II and searched for my nearest dealer. The "nearest dealer" I found... had so many bad reviews i was not about to take a chance. I am so Glad I went to BMW of Newport. I will continue to get Service there. Plus the whole staff is just great. Even while you are waiting for service, hanging out with the sales personnel is a an enjoyable time. I know that not to many people can even say that!!! More

In the past month, I have brought my M3 in for an oil check and to remove my winter tires. Both times, Jerry Haas and his staff have provided me with excellent service, with the minimum wait time. Another example today of the "extra mile" that Jeffrey and his team to service the cusstomer. They took an extra no charge road test to check out a front end issue. They even cleaned the inside of my wi and his team to service the cusstomer. They took an extra no charge road test to check out a front end issue. They even cleaned the inside of my windshield when I mentioned my recent shoulder condition prevented me from doing it. All so this with the best smile and pleasant disposition one could ever ask. Have to say, I also use another BMW dealer where we spend our winters ... and while professional ... somehow don't leave me "clicking my heels" as I do when I leave this dealership More
Excellent service. I called in with a car problem and was able to take my car in that same day for service. I was also provided with a service car to use since my car had to stay overnight. They are the BEST in USA in terms of exceptional service, and there are no exceptions !!! I have stayed in many places and I own two BMWs. But I would rather travel 100 miles than giving my cars for service and there are no exceptions !!! I have stayed in many places and I own two BMWs. These people are exceptionally skilled, talented, professional, courteous and would fix your car in the best possible way.
