I shopped three dealerships to purchase my new 2007 BMW 328xi coupe. BMW of Newport was BY FAR the most professional and impressive, even though it was the smaller of all three. Let me tell you about the awesomeness of BMW of Newport and Joanne. I am probably the most irritating customer imaginable. Between my un-relenting demands of specific options and colors and my special de and Joanne. I am probably the most irritating customer imaginable. Between my un-relenting demands of specific options and colors and my special delivery requests, I have to be a salesperson's nightmare. But let me tell you, Joanne did everything Perfectly!!! Between getting me the exact car I wanted and not putting a front plate on the car, she also met me there 45 minutes before the sales department opened to deliver me my car. I was almost in tears with joy. I often joke that I love my BMW more than my girlfriend, but Joanne and BMW of Newport are the reason why I say this. Trust me, almost once a month I'm there to ask service some ridiculous question or to pester Joanne about upcoming products, or just to test drive a car I may or may not be interested in. Every time I go there I'm greeted with a hug and a smile and it reminds me of how GREAT my experience was, and continues to be to this day. I CAN'T WAIT to buy my next BMW from here. THEY ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST EVER!!! If you like awesomeness and amazingness, buy your car here!!! More
They had a problem fixing the cd player and eventually was never fixable. They could not figure it out. Always was asked if I bought the car there during every visit which I did not and it made me uncomfo was never fixable. They could not figure it out. They would be more pleasant if they treated every customer with courtesy. Parts and service very high priced, for example a changed rear light bulb cost me $24! More
Initial sale didn't go too well, with the person cleaning the inside of my car using a screw driver to remove the air bag sticker. After a run around from the salesman, I go ahold of the GM who ordered a set of new wood for the inside of the car. The new wood set actually looks better then the original.<br><br>As for service, so far so good. I have the slipping transmission problem and they ordered a new transmission for the fix without any fuss at all. I have seen on the internet that some people are fighting with their dealer to replace the tranny to fix the problem. The service department has made up for the problems we had with the sales department. If the service remains of the same high quality and freindly reception, I would consider buying another car there. More
