According to the service department, the BMW Repai Per Google X5 windshield washer pump replacement is BETWEEN $265 and $328. BMW charged me $938. According to the service department, the BMW Repair Manual says it's a 3.5 Hour Job. Actually completed in less than 1.5 Hours. SERVICE ADVISOR told me "They are like plumbers." "If they tell me 3.5 hours and it only takes 1.5 hours, they still charge me 3.5 hours". THIS IS TOTALLY ADMITTING THEY ARE DISHONEST IN THEIR SERVICE QUOTES. I have been to other BMW service departments that do not OVERCHARGE just because they can. ALSO FOR AN OIL CHANGE THEY CHARGE $75 FOR AN OIL DISPOSAL FEE THAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT WHEN QUOTING PRICE OF AN OIL CHANGE. All HONEST Oil Change sites include the FEE in their price. I checked with Jiffy Lube, Goodyear, Express Oil and Valvoline. TOP COST FOR A BMW X5 OIL CHANGE, $129 plus tax. OIL DISPOSAL INCLUDED. Asked for the Service Manager to call me. No response. IF YOU ASKED ME, DO NOT USE BMW OF NASHVILLE. VERY DISHONEST AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. More

Read all the recent reviews, and you will see over the past year, this dealership seems to have no issues profiting on lying to the customer, doing shoddy work, issuing confusing bills, ignoring the custo past year, this dealership seems to have no issues profiting on lying to the customer, doing shoddy work, issuing confusing bills, ignoring the customer, and showing no concern for resolving these obvious, and at times, legally relevant issues. Here's the bullet point short list- read more if you want more details: -1 year of repair resulting in still having the same problem -Confusing bills that we're $5k over original estimate, but the actual problem was never even repaired -terrible customer service, outright lies from mechanic about repairs, costs, and what was actually wrong with the vehicle. -You will take your car to another mechanic who will fix it and actually be fair with you anyways, so do not waste time, money and frustration to go to this dealership, ever. I had a car repair that took, start to finish, over 1 year to complete. The repair cost $5,000 OVER the estimate, the mechanic go the car back from me three times after initial fix, could not find anything wrong with it, even after I submitted videos of multiple times the engine failed. The mechanic tried to include irrelevant information to somehow make me seem like I was foolish or was somehow responsible, or simply making it up, each time. The engine failure continued, and finally, almost 11 months later, after I had paid in full for a brand new engine, installation, and services, yet still had a non-working car. I took my car to another mechanic. That mechanic recognized immediately that the problem was the water pump of the new engine was defective, causing a coolant issue, all of which was an easy find. ..........This means that the engine had NEVER worked since the install in Dec.of 2022. But the mechanic I had, Kenneth M, could not diagnose the problem even after multiple times I complained and dropped off the car for repair, after the original engine install, each time he had claimed he had checked out the car, ran diagnostics, and that everything was in complete working order per manufactures specs. Yet, every time he placed that on my invoice and told me that same thing over the last year, the water pump was defective, the coolant was completely emptied from engine, and he NEVER NOTICED OR COULD DIAGNOSE THIS. BMW corporate would confirm this, because they paid for the work to have it repaired, the second time, because it was a manufactures defect of the new engine. So the extra $5,000 of labor for his install of my engine, the year of time where I had to fight with BMW, pay for numerous rentals and tows, as well as having to take it to another mechanic in general, the poor communication, unwillingness to listen to the customer, incompetence of work and repairs, and overall just the worst experience I have had with any dealership, are all reasons to NEVER BUY or REPAIR your vehicle at this dealership!! Light now comes on intermittently and the temperature gage, which has never in the life of the car. Gone past 12 o’clock now I was running at about 1 o’clock. I called to try and ask them what they might’ve done and what might be the problem. They got an attitude with me and told them that all they did was look at it. It was a visual inspection and they didn’t touch anything. Then the girl on the phone started telling me that the phone was fading out. Completely childish. I finally got tired of this and I’ll be going down there tomorrow morning. As of right now, I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. More
I just bought a 2019 Z4 from another dealer, but took it in to BMW of Nashville for a checkup and to check on an alignment issue. Turned out it was pretty severe suspension damage from the prior owner and a pothole. Joseph kept me up to date the entire time, explained everything, was very professional, friendly, courteous, and accommodating. It's good to have a service department you can trust. I will stick with Joseph and BMW of Nashville from now on. More
I took my 2021 430i coupe in for a tire replacement. I have had the car less than a month and found a bulge in the tire. I hit a very large unavoidable pothole on the night I purchased the car. I ass I have had the car less than a month and found a bulge in the tire. I hit a very large unavoidable pothole on the night I purchased the car. I assume this is what caused the bulge. Of course, this was not covered under any warranties that were purchased with the car. The cost of the tire replacement was $400+. I had also had 2 major warnings come up on the iDrive screen-Engine Malfunction & Drivetrain Malfunction. The car had 5100 miles on it at the time of the messages. These are pretty major warnings for a practically new car. I asked service to check these warnings and see what was going on. I was told by Brad that could not be done the day I was there because it would take several hours and I was waiting on the car. I said I could leave the car if I could have a loaner. He told me they were not giving out loaners unless the car had to be left for several days. I just paid over $50,000 for a practically brand new car and in less than a month have had to pay for a new tire and have had major engine warnings, and you are not willing to give me something to drive while this is being checked out? I asked Brad if they could just look at the code saved from the message and let me know if the car is safe to drive and I would make arrangements to bring it back to get to the reason for the warnings repaired. After asking three times, Brad finally agreed to check the cause of the message. He reported back that it was a reading from an engine knock sensor. The reading could be from a bad sensor (the car has 5,000 miles). Another reason could be from mice chewing on wires in the engine!? He reported that mouse droppings were found in the engine compartment, and there was a strong possibility the wires have been chewed on causing the sensor to send the warning. Brad informed me if this was the case, none of the repair would be covered under warranty. I told him I keep the car in the garage, have seen no evidence of mice or destructive activity in my garage, have kept 2 vehicles in the garage for the past 6 years and never had a mouse problem with them. I said quite possibly this happened before I got the car, in which case, I have no intention of paying for the repair of this. Brad insinuated that if the mouse problem is the case, that it happed after I received the car, since the sensor went off the first time at 5100 miles. That does not mean the damage was not already there. The fact that 3 weeks after I bought the car, a family of mice took up residence under the hood of my car and have destroyed the wiring, is highly unlikely in my opinion. I do not know for sure the warning message is a result of "chewed" wiring until the car is actually inspected at the time the engine knock sensor is replaced. I do know that if that is what I am told, I will not be paying for the labor of taking the car apart and putting it back together and will be taking the car back to BMW Cool Springs where it was purchased because clearly it had major issues when it was sold to me. I expected top notch customer service for what is said to be an excellent dealership. I did not get that and was very disappointed. More
