I have been getting work done on my BMW vehicles at BMW Milwaukee North since 2018 when I purchased my 5 series from them. I have yet to have a good Service experience there. Despite the bad Service expe Milwaukee North since 2018 when I purchased my 5 series from them. I have yet to have a good Service experience there. Despite the bad Service experience there, I kept going there because it’s the closest BMW shop to me and I like to get work done only at BMW shops. Bad Experience No.1: Four or five years ago, I had a clunking noise issue on my 5 series which BMW Milwaukee North was never able to fix. They changed a bunch of bushings, struts etc. but that never solved the issues. When the noise didn’t go away, I took it back to them a few months later and they told me that they put the bushings/struts incorrectly the first time. Doing the repairs the second time still didn't solve the problem. Eventually that noise bothered me so much that I traded my car. Bad Experience No. 2: I got my windshield replaced there. They don’t do it themselves and bring someone in to replace it. Whomever replaced the windshield did a bad job. On the inside the car, by the dashboard, you could see foam across the very lower end of the windshield. They agreed that it had been replaced incorrectly. They then correctly replaced the windshield. But when I went to pick up the car, there a big footprint on the front passenger seat. How can you miss a big muddy footprint before delivering the vehicle to a customer? Bad Experience No. 3: I took my Alpina B7 to them in February 2025 to get a multi-point inspection done since I could hear a clunking/knocking sound from the front outside of the car and my car was under warranty. They found a few worn out components which they replaced and billed the warranty company nearly $4,000. The clunking/knocking sound didn’t go away. They also damaged my car (scratched body under the driver door) which they took care of it. I took it back to them in late July 2025 with the same clunking/knocking sound and told them that the sound is still there. This time around, they first incorrectly diagnosed it as sway bar links for which they wanted to charge me $900 (btw you can get BMW OEM sway bar links replaced for under $300 at a good auto shop). Then they diagnosed it as the active sway bar itself for which they quoted $4,700 but were willing to do it for $3,000. This is unacceptable. If they pride themselves in delivering “exact, precise service for every vehicle” according to their website, then they should do so. Had they diagnosed this issue correctly the first time in February 2025, it would have not cost me since it would have been covered under warranty. They also forge service records. In January, when I took my car to them, they added about 10-20 miles on it but reported only 1 mile on the paperwork. Now when I asked for paperwork from back in February 2025, they gave me a copy that has additional commentary than the copy I have (clearly trying to CYA). I will be taking legal action against them. My vehicle was there for a recall. Once the recall repair was preferred my vehicle was returned to me after driving the vehicle for about 2000 miles since the repair the vehicle stoppe Once the recall repair was preferred my vehicle was returned to me after driving the vehicle for about 2000 miles since the repair the vehicle stopped mid drive. After, opening the vehicle it was evident that the intake pike was not cleaned, I have pictures to prove it, the service manager and his team claim that they had replaced and cleaned it and noted so on the invoice, however had that been true the intake pipe could have not been that badly clogged and caused my engine to fail. The service department was of no help and claim this is not their fault and refuse to fix it. This is not right, I use this vehicle for cancer treatments and for my special needs son and without it I cannot do those things. I need BMW of Milwaukee North to do the right thing and correct this situation and fix my vehicle because it is their fault that it is not working in the first place. Like I said the service manager was not much help but just brushed me off with this is not our fault. Also, this is the only service department that had ever worked on this vehicle since we purchased it. We did have an issue like this with them before, recall was preferred and they broke something else in addition which had to be fixed and they fixed it. Now it has happened again which leads me to believe this is a pattern with them. Thank you More

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever bought a car from. When you pay $42,000 for a used car, you expect for it to be detailed. The car was shipped to me and it was filthy upon arrival. Black stic car from. When you pay $42,000 for a used car, you expect for it to be detailed. The car was shipped to me and it was filthy upon arrival. Black sticky residue was all over the steering wheel and gear shift. There was even trash left under the seat from the previous owner. I have tried contacting the General Manager as well as others with no return phone call, text or email. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money at this dealership. More

First getting the contract to BMW Financial. Purchased a 550i in Nov 22. It is now the 23rd of Dec and the contract is still not at BMW Financial. First payment date is closing in the next week and there is no way I can make the first payment because BMW Financial does not have the contract. Several calls with dealership have given us numerous issues with some initials needed on the contract. Contract was supposed to be sent down via FedEx (not received) and person was supposed to drive it down to us (no show) . At this point the payment being late is a possibility and will affect my credit rating. Totally unacceptable. Last time I will ever utilized this place. More
Hello. I want to talk about the experience I had with BMW of Milwaukee North located at 5990 N. Green Bay Av Milwaukee, WI. In 2019 I bought a vehicle from I want to talk about the experience I had with BMW of Milwaukee North located at 5990 N. Green Bay Av Milwaukee, WI. In 2019 I bought a vehicle from them and purchased Gap Insurance for a little under $1000.00. Purchasing the vehicle was not a problem. The sales team was nice and friendly. The issue I have is in January of 2022 I paid of my car early. I have bought several cars and every time I paid my vehicle off early and didn’t use the entire term of the GAP insurance, I was refunded money. Well, not with BMW. I call the dealership asking to speak to someone about cancelling my contract for GAP insurance. I was transferred multiple times, placed on hold and hung up. At this point I went to the dealership and tried to cancel the GAP insurance. I spoke to a finance employee and explained what I was trying to do. Thank goodness I still had the original contract that read “The GAP Addendum is between You and the Dealer”. I should mention I attempted to cancel the GAP insurance with the company who supplied the insurance but was instructed the dealership has to refund the money prior to me going to the dealership. It even says if you are cancelling the policy go to the dealership on an automated recording. When I spoke to the finance lady, she kept trying to say the dealership does not owe me anything even though I told her that was false. After going back in forth she finally said she tried to take my original paperwork which I said no you are going to make a copy of it. The finance lady said she was going to give it to a woman who was in another department. I left thinking this was taken care of. After of a month of waiting no phone calls and no check. I called again and spoke to the same finance lady who insisted the dealership didn’t owe me anything. She stated now it was my lender who owed me the money and I should call them. I told her that is not true, it’s the dealership and she insisted it was my lien holder. I called and my lien holder confirmed it was the dealership who has to cancel the contract and owed me the money. What makes me mad is the finance lady didn’t believe that the company who issued the gap insurance stated the dealer had to cancel the policy and the dealership owed me the remaining balance for the unused portion of the GAP insurance. The finance lady called herself and received the same message. The finance lady even consulted with other employees and I hear over say “ This lady” before the phone was muted. I had to go to the dealership a second time and had the lien holder on the phone who had to explain to the finance lady they had nothing to do with the GAP insurance. The finance lady than called a woman who issues the checks for cancelling GAP insurance and she stated yes, I was owed a refund because I was cancelling the policy. I asked the fiancé lady where did my paperwork go, she took last time and come to find out she gave it to the wrong person. She stated she just found out just found out who was in charge of the GAP insurance. After all of this they tried to refund me as if I was cancelling the policy the day of instead of the month prior. I asked am I going to be refunded from last month when I cancelled it than. The finance lady said I was not and the GAP insurance lady said I was. I don’t know who this finance lady is but at the end of everything I did receive my money. The finance lady had the nerve to say I learn something new on this job. No apology or anything. I will never ever buy from this dealership again or their other dealership (Porsche) on Silver Spring Dr. My point is if I was young person or not persistent, didn’t keep my paper work I would have never received anything. The finance lady had said oh the dealership switched companies who provide gap insurance which was also not true. I don’t know if they trying to scam people or what. I thought I would share my experience. More
