I brought my immaculately maintained 2005 Z4 to this dealership for the purpose of replacing my dead battery. I was greeted by a respectful employee who informed me of the process to start the repair p dealership for the purpose of replacing my dead battery. I was greeted by a respectful employee who informed me of the process to start the repair process and had me leave my car near the front of the line of cars in the reception area. He told me my service rep would be a person named Mark. I was then led to the waiting lounge which I found to be clean and comfortable with a Starbucks area which offered a variety of free drinks. I had to wait approximately 45 minutes for Mark to seek me out even though I had made an appointment two days earlierfor 9:15 a.m. Mark then gave me a rather high estimate of the cost to replace my battery ($500) and asked if I would also like for BMW to wash my car after the repair service was completed; I indicated I would like that additional free service. He told me it would take between 2-3 hours to complete all of the services. While I waited in the lounge area I continued to enjoy the Starbucks products and watch television. I also wacked around the dealership to look at new cars and found a remarkable level of cleanliness throughout the facility. When my Z4 was ready to go, Mark and I took care of the finances and I left the dealership. Here are the items I found to be apart of the positive aspects of my time at the dealersahip: The cleanliness of the facility; the comfortable lounge; the Starbucks beverages; and the professionalism of Mark and the employee who first greeted me and started the intake process; and the quality of the wash job that was done to my Z4. Here is the list of items I found to be a part of the negative aspects of my time at the dealership: The cost of battery was ridiculously high ( $465 ). I mean this was outrageous in that the battery itself was $216 (a fair price) and the amount above that was to put the battery in my car and then do some eletronic "balancing" plus the state sales taxes; I had an appointment set up two days prior to the actual date of my arrival for the service. The process of changing a battery and wash the car should not have taken nearly four hours. More
