The customer service experience was superb and he did just what he said.. Not to mention Terrence Lanham who was also awesome.. Terrence offered additional options to me that made me an even happier customer.. I plan to refer family and friends to BMW of Gwinnett. I am now in my dream car thanks to Terrence and Jeffrey... I found an X6 on their website in the morning, and by that afternoon that car was in my garage! When I requested information, I had it within 5 minutes. When I arrived to the dealer, the car was already detailed and I was walked into finance; I met with Sabina Dervisevic. She was not only very professional, but made the finance portion of the sale actually FUN! I could not recommend United BMW of Gwinnett, Peter Horcicka, and Sabina Dervisevic more highly! Excellence at the Highest Level Recently I was in the market to lease a vehicle. I wanted something specific in terms of the color of the car and the interior and this combination w Recently I was in the market to lease a vehicle. I wanted something specific in terms of the color of the car and the interior and this combination wasn't available in my hometown. I searched online on Cars.com and found quite a few options all being varying distances away. Many of the dealerships I called wanted to play games and I could tell they did not give me high priority because of my distance from them. They figured, "this guy won't make the trip so I am going to put him to the back of the line." They all said they were going to get back with me, etc. and in almost every case I was the one following up with them. This may not seem like a big deal, but I had gotten relatively far in the process with another dealership prior to calling United. It took them 2 days and multiple calls from me in order for them to get back with me and by that time they actually sold the car to someone else. I almost gave up on buying out of state and compromising what I wanted until I spoke with Peter at United BMW. I knew I was speaking to the right person within a matter of a few seconds. I am being very honest in this next sentence. It felt like I was sitting right there in front of him in person while he was speaking with me...even though I was 8 hours away. I am sure he was dealing with many people and deals at the time, but the way he spoke with me made me feel like I was his only customer. He let me know the vehicle was in mint condition, but offered to go out and inspect it personally for me. Within 10 minutes I received a phone call back as he was standing next to the vehicle and he described everything in detail to me. The next step involved my trade in. Peter had me email him pictures and the details on my car and within about an hour he called me back with a very fair trade value. In the following step I let him know the type of lease I was looking for (mileage, time period) and within about 30 minutes I received a detailed spreadsheet outlining the ins and outs of our deal. When trying to negotiate a deal from out of state I can't tell you how important this type of prompt follow-up is for the customer. Peter was professional, courteous, and thorough in everything he had done to that point. The car was right, the deal was right, and most importantly...I trusted the person on the other end of the line. When you are 10 minutes away you can afford to maybe have someone not totally be upfront on the phone and it be different when you get there. When you are an 8 hour drive away that level of trust is imperative. I put a deposit down on the car that afternoon. I should also note that I spoke with Sales Manager Tony Lee a few times and he was equally as professional, honest, prompt, courteous and straight forward . Integrity and professionalism seemed to be in the culture at United BMW. This solidified my decision even more. I began my drive the next day and at some point in our earlier conversations I had let Peter know what time I was leaving. About 30 minutes into my drive I received a text from him telling me to have a safe trip and that he looked forward to meeting when I arrived. Wow. How many sales professionals would have remembered to do something like that? Very few. These small gestures are what separate the good from the great. I stayed in Atlanta for the evening and drove to the dealership in the morning. When I arrived and placed my car in park I saw a gentleman walking over to greet me with a huge smile and I knew it was Peter. The car was just as he described, perfect. He took me for a test drive and explained the ins and outs of the entire car. He also took the time to ask me about myself, what I do, my background, etc. This was a nice departure from other previous car buying experiences where all the talk is geared towards the car and the deal. I never felt rushed or hurried the entire time. We sat down to do the paperwork and everything went extremely smooth. Sales Manager Tony Lee came over more than once during the process to shake my hand and thank me for my business. This also left a great impression on me. I took possession of my car and off I was on the 8 hour drive home. Sure enough, I received a text message from Peter shortly into my drive thanking me for my business and also wishing me a safe trip home. You just don't get that level of service and professionalism from other places. I'm not even referring to car dealerships, I mean in general. I highly recommend the folks at United BMW and if you have the opportunity to ask for Peter I incline you to do so. The whole process was like dealing with that honest and loyal friend that we all have in our lives. I couldn't be happier with the car or the experience! Thanks again United BMW! More
